F.A.Q., Rules and Recommendations - Clans

Dear Survivors,

before creating a topic in the Clans section of the forum, please read the following mandatory rules:

1. The Clans section

Section for everything related to clans. Recruitment, communication, discussion.

 

 2. Structure of the section:

Clans - personal threads of clans for recruitment of new members and discussions between clan members.

Looking for a Clan   - threads from players who are searching for a clan.

 

- General rules for this section:

  • This section is intended for the establishment and maintenance of clans by players of the community, as well as for searching clans or recruits;
  • Each clan is allowed to have only one topic in the Clans section;
  • It is prohibited to create threads/posts that do not comply with the section title/thread;
  • It is prohibited to name the clans using references to the administration and/or development teams;
  • If you want your clan thread to be removed, please contact a Forum Moderator;
  • The Administration reserves the right to update and change the F.A.Q., as well as the rules of this section and the use without prior and subsequent notification to the users of the Forum.

Penalties for violation of the rules of this section:

  • Threads/posts violating the rules shall be subject to revision/closing/deleting. 
  • The moderator reserves the right to do this personally and separately for each case;
  • Creating threads/posts against the rules in this section may result in a penalty according to the Forum Rules of Crossout ;
  • If you have any questions, you can contact any of the moderators personally via PM.

- How to create and design threads in the Clans section:

 

1. Topic title:

  • The title only contains the name and tag of the clan;

  • When creating a topic, do not use any signs that can distinguish it from the other threads, e.g. "* * * clan!!!" or "==-my clan--=", as well as the alternation of uppercase and lowercase letters for the same purpose;

  • It is forbidden to use names similar or consonant to other clans in order to confuse the players or insult them;

  • It is prohibited to name the clans using references to the administration and/or development teams to avoid confusion;

  • It is forbidden to use names and tags violating the Forum Rules of Crossout;

2. Header/first post in the topic:

  • The header is not allowed to exceed the font size 24 and the text the size 14;

  • If there is a logo for the clan, it must meet the following requirements:

    • The logo must be created according to the Forum Rules of Crossout;

    • Allowed image size: no more than 850 x 460 pixels. Larger logos must be hidden with a spoiler.

  • The requirements for joining the clan should be clearly stated in this thread.

3. Content of the topic - all other posts of clan members or other users:

  • The topic may be used as a simple communication between members of the same clan, for searching new members and for players who wish to apply for a certain clan.

  • It is not allowed to spam, to excessively bump a topic, to multipost, as well as violating the Forum Rules of Crossout;

- How to create and design threads in the Looking for a Clan section:

  • In this section only threads from players without a clan are allowed and only in reference to searching for a clan.

  • Only one thread per player is allowed.

  • After finding a clan, please state in your topic that you are no longer searching for a clan. You may also ask any Forum Moderator to close your thread.

  • The title should contain your in game nickname as well as the language which the clan should speak.

  • Creating a topic do not use any signs that can distinguish it from the other threads, e.g. "* * * player!!!" or "==-playername--=", as well as the alternation of uppercase and lowercase letters for the same purpose;

  • It is forbidden to use names similar or consonant to other players in order to confuse others or insult them;

  • It is forbidden to use names and titles violating the Forum Rules of Crossout;

2. Header/topic:

  • The header is not allowed to exceed the font size 24 and the text the size 14;

  • The thread should include your qualities and other indicators that can help you in your search. It is recommended that you attach a screenshot of your in game profile.

3. Content of the topic - all other posts of clan members or other users:

  • Clan members can contact players through these threads if they are interested in them or other players can recommend clans to the seeking user.

  • Contact the players you are really interested in. Do not answer in every thread just to increase your clan member count as fast as possible.

  • It is not allowed to spam, to excessively bump a topic, to multipost, as well as violating the Forum Rules of Crossout.
