HI, I'm a sort of professional gamemaker. Been studying gamemaking for years. Developed my first game in amiga basic in early teens. Am also an engineer. 

That said, if this may look like a suggestion, I'll formulate it as a question.

You invest a lot of energies in developing the contest of Crossout - characters, factions, raids .... and this serves to sell icons and stuff, but when in the battlefield against other players, is suddenly gone.

In the end you are just having fun with these vehicles and their physics, but as also some players point out - myself included, what is the point of playing crossout? There is no bronze, silver, gold, diamond, .... ranking. And now there is not even a season - which is kind of good as this may return for other purposes, like for example setting ranking, over a months playing period.

If I should not, you simply can avoid reading further, after thinking some times over how this aspect of the game could be challenged, I thought this:

- you have clans, now thinking at the settings these guys are fighting each other, what for? Resources and terrory control -> MAP. 

- there are several maps, drawn to contain locations that relate to the battlefields maps, and players/clans who win in clan wars a certain amount of battles, 10-20 ( each location has his), actually conquer it and can plunder it to obtain resources, and then advance at choice to another side portion of this map. The resources obtained go divided equally among all clan members - if you find 730 plastic looting a location, divided by 20 members means 36 plastic each, by defect as you cannot invent the missing resource. Besides copper, scraps, plastic, wire ... you can find rarely tools that can increase turrets turning speed ( some quality oil cans) like 1%, or increase accuracy of weapons for the clan ( quality screws that stabilize them) like +1%, .... When you finish conquering the entire map, you have become a bronze level clan and can move to the next map, where instead of 6 locations it may be 7, finish this and you get silver, and then another map, 8 locations, and you get gold, and so on ... platinum, diamond ... for a total of around 3-4 months, considering around 100 clan wars winning to take over a map, starting nearer to 50 for bronze, so that with around 30 clan wars won per week clans can get to diamond, just to shoot a reasonable number given a time of 17 weeks. 

Where the contest gets carried on like this? Each map gets introduced by a story, each map section has an introduction of what it looks like and what sensations gives or if you hear fights, smell trouble, ... and then when you conquer it, there is another writing/intro that tells you exactly what there is in this map portion, so there may be even buildings to visit, leftovers of ancient vehicles and stuff, animals, water ... 

Successive season it all starts over with other stories to go through. Bad - the bad is that lower clans will never get to play it through entirely, but long for it maybe, or look youtube videos by those that manage.

I think this could turn out as fun ...?

Dear developers:

 

1) Do you plan to give us option for choosing turning direction when going backward? Especially with the spider...

2) Did you discussed spreading of uranium in different way so it will reflect number of CW-active clans?

3) Could you give us relation how gained/losed points in CW are calculated? We had suspicious point loses sometimes. Maybe also publication of the relation of obtaining fragments will help us too. It seems we need to loss many times and go back up to get a fragment when we are CW veterans.

4) Do you plan to correct scoring calculations in PvP so it will reflect team-wise behavior (shooting drones/weapons, defending...)?

Hello, gumaak! 1. ATM we're not planning to introduce an option to turn off the inverted controls when going backwards. 2. I'm not sure I've got the point of the question. Do you mean any alternative ways to earn uranium or smth else? Could you clarify it, please? 3. First of all, we do not disclose any particular % information (e.g. chances to receive a part from the container or chances to get a relic fragment). Regarding points in CB: the less points your clan has the less points you lose after a defeat. If your clan is a 'top' one, then you'll lose more points after each defeat. The fragments are dropped randomly and the chances do not depend on the number of your defeats. 4. No plans to add points for killing drones. You receive points only for destruction of the module that launches them. Also you receive more points when you battle in the circle of your base.

Can we get an all inclusive full membership for purchase on Steam?

A package that would give 100% access to all weapons and build items, along with all future content that would be created?

I'm ready to buy NOW if a package could be created. I'm willing to bet thousands of others would want this also.

Hello, I have a few question regarding the release of the last Knight riders items.

I have in mind building Nidhogg, but I'll probably need fafnirs.

1) How are we supposed to get fhe legendary version of Junkbow and Prometheus if we can't craft the epic ones?

I heard (from you I think) that the epics will be released AFTER the event is finished. If that's the case (let's hope not) that would be really discourteous.

2 )Can they be released at least whenever the event starts?

Hello :) The plan to make the previous weapon craftable after the event is final atm. Still, the recipes are being considered and there's no info which parts will be required to craft a new one. So, it's possible that there will be no parts from the previous event in the requirements list.

Will there ever be a ps lock on legendary or relic items? I find it kind od ridiculous to be 1 shot by a hurricane or turned to dust by a harvester in ps 5000

i spent a game stripping weapons and moving to the next target.disarmed 6 guys weapons before dying.ended with 600 score.my point here is are you planning on changing the score system so you get more score for taking weapons.would be great if shooting off enemy guns/modules gave points like when you shoot cabins

Hello, AtrainSS1! ATM we're not planning to change the current score system. Yes, you destroy enemy's weapons and do a great job for the team, but the enemy is still alive and can go capture the base or self-destruct and take one of your teammates. What I'm trying to say is that destruction of the vehicle will always be more valuable than weapons destruction.

Going thru the forum made me realize that there is a lot of leaks from test server + seeing individual that emptied their resource just to stoke up on uranium before the information was shared by you (developer). Conclusions is that some players on test server are giving advantage to some players and their entourage:facepalm:.

So not every player is equal and will encourage more players to be do the same.

How you are going to combat these problems and how you are going to make fair for honest players during this event :014:

Hello, Fixthis! The main thing is that these 'leaks' show the part that is a prototype, its requirements that probably will be changed and so on. Also, the disclaimer, that some of the changes mentioned in the devblog may be not implemented at all, is not just words. And we'll see it today in the 2nd part of the devblog.

I mean the rewards for CW. Currently, the uranium is given to top 30 clans independently on number of clans active in CW. There is difference between competition of 100 and 1000 clans. So I ask if you could discuss this dependency. E.g. first 1/10 will obtain uranium reward. I assume you will wanna conserve the total sum of uranium.

1 : tempest warning, everyone for itself and big black scropion are ALWAYS grayed out or too often.

in 8 month real life time, i did a grand total of maybe 5 game on any of those raid combined together.

please remove or nerf the time-out period. i want to play those raid at least as freely as regular raid. and i see no real good reason to have so much greyed-out time when there are already limit on resources.

 

2: other mod that are not possible to play at the moment : [2a]ranked battle, anything [2b]clan related, anything [2c]leviathan related (exception of invasion raid)  i think there is work that can be done to bring back past raid or make current raid more playable [2d](for instance, ranked battle probably have 0 workload to be enabled again)  and [2e]( clan battle could be tweak-able : 2v2 clan battle ? 3v3 clan battle ?)  something to look forward to ?

 

3: yes, everyone want custom battle but i'd like to suggest an alternative while we wait for this mod to be ready for public release :    in the game, you can make groups (invite to group)   you could make a LITE version of custom battle by allowing group to battle each other (example -> a group of player form a group, they are 3, they could queue for group battle and be up against another group of 3. no bots, but in exchange we can chose between a select few pvp maps.

 

 

while i'd really like feedback on '1' ,'2d' and'2e'   i think '3' could be  a good compromise to settle down for while we wait for custom battle ( and it could be latter tweaked to be a separate mod completely from custom battle when it is released) 

so, what do you think ?

Hello, Ymirithe. 1.These are the brawls. From the very beginning we've considered brawls as special modes that are available only during a limited amount of time. The same applies to clan wars, or there would an opportunity to 'farm' rating non-stop during the whole week. It would be no longer a competition of the best clans. Ranked battles were switched off due to their raw state and we're not planning to bring them back anytime soon as now we're working on some brand new modes and rewards.

Hello! Has there been any discussion about locking weapon fire for a few seconds at the beginning of a match or spawn protection? Cricket hovers can hit me for 1k damage before I even get a chance to leave spawn on some maps. Also, will draws ever be removed from clan battles? It's a bad feeling after a tough fight. And lastly, can we expect another heavy cab this year? Thanks.

Hello, xXMrSkeletonXx! 1. No, we haven't discussed this option. Could you, please, create a suggestion so the whole community could discuss it? 2. We don't plan to remove draws. Actually, they happen when there's no way to define the winner. 3. ATM there's no information about new heavy cabs this year, but we're planning to add some new in the future, as well as light a medium ones.

Thanks for doing these very useful Q&A's, have 1 main question for now:

Will any of the pack cabin items such as the Steppe Spider cabin (or other pack only items) be made craftable in the future? Are there any plans to make these craftable after the next event or some other timescale?

Hello, Alsayf. No, atm, we don't plan to make 'pack parts' craftable. But still you're able to purchase them on the market by crafting some of the parts, selling them and spendind earned coins on the part you want.

I have a Question. That we are talking about on the forums. The question is. Does Ice Box Cab and the Quantum Cab Buff the damage of the incinerators?

Because I can't really tell. And some players are saying it does. Even my self I thought it did at first. But now I'm not sure if it is or I'm just not realizing the true results.

Hello, Eldren24484. Perk of the Quantum cabin doesn't work for the Incinerator. It works only for all kinds of lasers and plasma/Tesla guns/emitters. Speaking about the Icebox's perk - yes, it buffs the catapult.

We're not working on a new faction right now, but we're considering possible ideas and suggestions for the concept of possible future new faction. 3. We plan to launch the complex raid till the end of this year.

Hello! According to both statistics and players' feedback The Spark atm doesn't need any tweaks and is a pretty effective weapon. However, we'll check its rates once again.

1) Is there a timeframe we can expect to have the new relic mg be released?

2)Is there a chance for console to receive the scorpion skin :)

3) I’m aware that test server items are not garunteed to ever be released, but is there any info we can possibly hear about the relic shotgun? Is there one truly in the works at the very least؟

Hello, VileCrib_3! 1. We plan to release it one of the nearest updates after the event. 2. ATM it's a tournament exclusive and winners receive it for a limited amount of time. It is possible that in the future it will be somehow added to console versions, but not in the nearest future. 3. No, right now we're not working on a relic shotgun. However, it doesn't mean there will be no relic shotguns in the future. The MG proves my words :)

I ordered the corrida pack, installed it, no parts, no coins.  Waited awhile for the items to appear, when they didn't reinstalled pack.  Waited till this morning, still nothing.  How do I get the content I paid for?

Do you ever plan on coin pack sales on consoles similiar to the ones pc gets Or better due to consoles high MP prices

How is Spike performing since last nerf. Dont see them much anymore in pvp

A fused item market addition would be nice, any plans on making that a reality? A place to buy/sell already upgraded items.

Hello, Renamed41544! 1. We can't announce any upcoming sales on packs. As soon as the sale start, we'll post the news. 2. ATM its effectiveness rates show that the weapon is good at its rarity grade. Still we'll check the updated statistics during and right after the event. 3. Atm we don't plan such kind of market, but we consider the feature that would allow to use upgraded parts in crafting.

As far as I know. There are 3 paints (maybe more) that I can not buy  as European Gamer. Down Under, Aboriginal and Stars and Stripes.

Why? Is there any way to buy the colors on the market in the future? I like all of these paints :-)

Hello, hauser22! These paints are rewards for events held on PC (US and AU servers launch). But it's possible that later they will somehow appear in console versions of the game.

Good day dev team

Not sure if this has been answered yet but I am still a relatively new player.

I would like to ask about something regarding the pvp points scoring system, A couple of friends and myself are under the impression that only killing a part will count towards score and not the actual damage done to the part, so if player 1 brings a fatman down to one durability but then player 2 shoots it once with a white machine gun resulting in the part being destroyed, then does player 2 get all the score for destroying that part while player 1 (who actually did all the damage) gets nothing?

If this is indeed the case then I would also like to ask would this be something you would consider adjusting, so as to have damage and not simply destruction be the determining factor in how much score one gets. It would be kind of unfair otherwise, like in the example I gave depending on weapon types and builds one player could be doing all the work and yet still get little to no score while another who does almost nothing can still last hit parts and end up racking a massive undeserved score.

Thanx in advance for any reply and please correct me if I am wrong in assuming the scoring system works this way.

1) Any word on better Match making? Been getting pooped on by builds 4k higher than me no matter how i build. in my 8k build i face 14k builds. In my 3800PS vehicle i am facing 7k enemies. Is this a problem that will be addressed or is this turning into RaidOut?

2) Will the building parts limit ever be raised? 

3) will the maps ever get a proper refining? (make all objects solid, improve hitboxes, adjust janky terrain shapes(IM LOOKING AT YOU ACID ROCK!)?

4) SPAWN issues: Loading into a game 30 seconds late is bad enough but i load into the lobby before i load in on my screen and am regularly getting destroyed before i can move by crickets or whirlwinds. Can we please fix where vehicles spawn to not have LOS on the enemy teams spawn?

5) Any thoughts on buffing the incinerator to allow fire to attach to vehicles hit directly? (3-4 Seconds, ramming Teammates passes fire onto them)

6) Love the game but seeing so few white and blues makes the grind way too ominous to put in the time needed for a porcupine. any plans on adding a baby porcupine as an epic/rare?

PS4 survivor if that matters.

Hello, icangetbackup! 1. Yes, the matchmaking improvement is one of the most important tasks for both console versions of the game we're planning to do. Thanks to our players' reports we're aware of all the issues that may happen and consider all the possible options that would allow to improve the current matchmaking system. 2. No, it won't be raised completely. Atm we don't plan to increase the limit also, due to some technical limitations. 3. We're working on various map improvements and apply some changes almost in every update. 4. We'll look into this issue, thank you. 5. In the NEAREST future we won't introduce such a feature, but the idea is already being considered :) 6. No plans atm. 1. Does the dev team look at community-made factions for ideas?

2. In the "auto-build feature in the garage, why do some vehicles never finish building, and have the feature move to the next, and can this be changed so every vehicle is forced to show up?

Hello, ImTwizzle! 1. Of course! And we've already saved some of the concepts to discuss later :) Currently we're working on modes and features that have already been announced. Once they're released, we'll consider these ideas, be sure :) 2. The thing is that the feature builds the vehicle in real-time mode and once it lacks any part it just moves to another vehicle that may be built.
