Help me understand;

Stated by developers, Drones were never meant to be primary weapons....But we now have several bots that are solely drone-based, so are you going back on your statement. or just saying what we want to hear when we complain?

Hello, redneck_fgf! The fact that they were never meant to be primary weapons doesn't mean that the players won't build drone-based vehicles. As long as we don't limit the number of drones (= do not prohibit to build the vehicle the player wants) we've decided to copy some of the builds that other players use to imitate players from real PvP battles.

As stated in the terms and conditions, hacks and 3rd party software are absolutely forbidden (which is a great thing).

What's your position on professionnal hacker and hack seller being given a crossout promo account?

Hello Devs!

I had a question regarding the potential for new modules such as

>Epic and Legendary Fuel tanks.
>Solar Panel generator add-on (could be epic or legendary, adds 1 point with a limit of 2 or 4 parts per build, and is not very durable to balance the additional energy).
>Legendary Cabin (lots of health and tonnage but only 10 points of energy, could be modeled off of the "Caterpillar dump truck" or some other beast of a vehicle).
>Epic or Legendary Module, named something such as "AI Core" and at the cost of 2 or 4 energy points it will alter all of your weapons to be AI controlled while the module is in tact, this could even be made to be user activated with a cool-down time, alternatively this could be a cabin bonus for a special cabin, possibly combined with the legendary cabin suggestion i mentioned)

Also, if you do find any of these ideas interesting and choose to apply them or make packs out of them I would love to be given two of that item or pack contents as a thank you  :D

Guest new player tips plz

hi all

 

i have litterally just started to play crossout and its great however after looking on line to get some tips ive noticed the PC economy and the other platforms are vastly different. 

so 2 questions

whats the best way for a sub level 10 play to earn coin efficiently

when i down loaded crossout i tried to follow a link to get bonus stuff as a new starter but as i already had a warthunder account i didnt get any toys is there any way i can get those bits and peices?

Hello, Perrinluns, and welcome to the Wastelands! The best way to earn coins when you're a beginner is to earn as much resources as you can and sell them on the market. Then you'll be able to rent workbenches and craft 'rare' parts using those 'common' ones you've earned in PvP-battles and some additional resources. Hello and thank You for the great game.

I have a quick question. 

My car often gets so broken in battle that it can no longer drive and in the wheel-less cabin i have to wait for the match to end. Will there ever be a way to exit the vehicle and continue the rest of the fight on foot? 

I feel like the game needs some solution to immobillised vehicles.

Hello, bozzarr! No, we don't have such plans. The game is about vehicular combat only and has a 12+ age rating and there's no option to introduce any human-like characters.

there is supposedly a counter for all weapons.but what do you expect us to do against a camo harvester spark guy?especially on low ps.spark is way too effective and harvester far too strong.harvester takes goliath track out in no time at all.cant see them coming with camo and if you have tracks oculus aint gonna help much either.i feel harvesters should do less damage to tracks and tweaking spark so its not so op would be great.currently once a spark has you 9 times out of 10 its game over

Hello, AtrainSS1! The main thing about the game with a constructor is that there always will be a build that counters yours and that's not a problem because it also has its own weaknesses against particular builds. Btw, the Harvester doesn't destroy the Goliath track in 1-2 seconds and the player still has a chance to fight back. But in some situations even slow builds are able to counter invisible fast harvester builds. You should always watch for tracks that invisible car leaves, you may mount an Oculus radar that may help you, you may mount the Kapkan minelayer or the Spark to slow down or immobilise the enemy. Of course, these are not 100% effective ways to counter such enemies, but there shouldn't be any of them as it would make any particular build useless.

Isn't the idea of 'taxes' somewhat counter-idealistic in a game where the setting is 'post-apocaliptic'?

Secondly if I were to purchase a coin pack, then isn't 10% of the resulting market-based transaction being taxed 10% technically charging me twice?

Hello, rabbi_izryel! 1. We don't see any contradictions between market taxes and post-apocalyptic world :) 2. When you purchase a coin pack from the store there won't be any taxes and you'll receive all the coins.

just woundering why devs think 100s of hours of work and credits getting a faction up to 15 gives you an untradible blue part basicly a useless box and I did notice it changed from a purple to blue without telling anyone to...just think you should know that's as good as devs saying we care nothing for the work you put in for rewords

Hello, purplejacket. In the future we plan to add new structure parts as rewards for prestige levels. Those veteran containers are just considered as small bonuses you may use on your low/mid-PS vehicles or use the parts in upgrades.

hello. just a quick interjection.

i joined in crossout actually quite late in its development. (around the Version 6.5 release i think)  and i never got the occasion to know why this game was rated PG12+ .  i am not interested in politic. i am just curious to know what am i playing and what can i expect from a game in witch i invest time and money in.

also, I'm very exited about the few upcoming major content update and i'd like to cheer the team for their hard work. how could one go about supporting the team in a direct or indirect way ?is there anything you or the team can suggest for the community to take a more active role except playing the game, buying the packs and discussing on the forums ?.  thank you.

We have all seen a lot of leaks online of new relic weapons, new modules, etc. When will these make it to the game? Will they ever be introduced? Will uranium ever not be locked behind the clan wars monopoly? There is a lot of content that is locked behind "high tier" PvP and isn't accessible to 99% of the game population, which is a shame because a lot of it is pretty fun. Also, when customization kits move to the store, will new kits be available for higher tier weapons such as legendaries and relics? Thank you!

Hello, Grizzles1! First of all, I would like to say that all the leaks are not an official information. Pretty often these videos show prototypes of parts, that even won't make it to the game. As soon as it gets confirmed that some new parts will appear in the game, we share such information with all the players in our devblogs and news.

About the uranium ore: we don't have plans to add it to any other game mode. Relics are designed to be rare parts that require a lot of efforts and well-organized team to achieve them. That's a top-content of the game for experienced players. Speaking about CKs, we still discuss this question. I remind you that we consider the possibility to rework some of the CKs from scratch before adding them to the in-game store. And only after this work is finished, we'll be able to confirm, which CKs will make it to the store and which won't. Stay tuned to our news :)

i really need help- i use crossout w/ steam, and i lost my account. I don't know where to get myself heard, if there is another way to contact devs because of my problem please help me.

so, i launched test server for the first time, and it asked me to create an account. i did, and the server was down for maintenance, so i wait, and first i go to regular crossout, and i have nothing at all, like my new account. i cant seem to get in to my original one. i really hope i didn't wipe my original account's data somehow- i'm really scared, in a way, that my account is gone.

please help.

Since the last update, I have noticed severe problems deploying turrets on PS4. 75% of the time, the first drop doesn't have a problem. Subsequent drops, however, are severely hindered. I can spam the fire button all I want... but only one or two drop. There doesn't seem to be a problem resetting, but dropping turrets in quick succession is all but impossible. Also, I noticed the icon doesn't example the expiration timer accurately at all. It runs out long before the Turrets have expired. Turrets have been nerfed to near ineffectiveness as it is. Perimeter support builds can't afford this problem.

Hello there, do u guys realise that XO is one of the rare games where u have only 1 competative pvp mode. Am i the only one noticing we are missing "Ranked Battles" u already have the mode, just turn it on and let us enjoy it. it would improve activity  and maybe attract some new people in game.
So please, give me some info, are u planing to bring it back?

Hello, CRUSHER_! We consider the possibility to bring the ranked mode back in 2019. Still, we'll discuss any possible changes and improvements to the mode only when our current top-priority tasks will be finished (Adventure mode, complex raid, hovers rebalance).

hello.

what's with hovers being immune to the skinner? I have attached to hover and they seem to break attached ment in like 3 seconds.

why don't the Granada launchers have any perks? I think everythang else does.

dork1976, actually both grenade launchers have their perks. The Impulse has a chance to stop rotations of the enemy's weapons and the Retcher deals 200% more damage for every 100m distance to the target.

If you mean the co-drivers' perks, then we'll consider it while updating their perks in the future. However, Jade's last perk (Sweep) works also for both grenade launchers.

why am I getting cannons when I'm going for shotguns? then why even show the items your supposed to be getting. it use to be you got the items showed. why did you change it?

Hello! While entering a battle you have a chance to get a certain weapon or part for your build but you can also get a random part of common rarity - it can be seen on the briefing screen just before you join the battle.

1st  question : In War for Fire raids, Why trucks can be damaged by players, when they pushing him to the wall to hiding him from bots 

2nd question : Is it normal when i open a container, and i paid scrap metal to changing the item, → I got the same item than before ?

Hello, JarJarBZH! Awesome! :) 1. It sounds like a bug, because players shouldn't be able to damage the truck they have to protect. Could you, please, provide any video evidence of the issue? 2. Yes, it's the current mechanic of opening the container.

why does the melee weapons take damage when dealing damage?

Hello! It happens due to the collision of your and your enemy's builds. If the collision occurs at a speed above the minimum then both vehicles get damaged. Some parts, including melee weaponry, have a resistance to contact damage, that's why they get less damage.

Hello woody!


I always felt like hovers are fine, and the thing that makes them need to get "nerfed" imo is the fact of allowing players to put the cabins sideways.
( I played hover and never did that, its a hover, meant to dodge stuff, not to be a flying tank kek)
So my question is, is there any posibility you make some changes about rotating cabins instead of nerfing hovers one more time? :/

Hello, K4KTUS! The thing is that it's not about rotating the cabin, but about the ability to custimize controls. All the sideways builds are built with changing strafe and forward/backward movement controls. This is not the thing we plan to prohibit. However, sideways builds users have to learn how to play with such awkward controls and we don't plan to introduce any feature that would make it somehow easier.

PS4 is still suffering from huge time glitches. Icon timers for regen on deployable weapons are waaaay off. Round timers are running out long before the round is over. Random time extensions on missions. I have to wait a good 15 seconds after turret icons turn white before I know I can deploy them... and sometimes that's not even enough. Icon will also show timed out (gray) when there are 15 or 20 seconds left on deployment. Wait time clock shows double the actual time in the battle que, but shows actual when in the garage. I have posted about this before. These are legitimate glitches, and they haven't been addressed.

still dosnt answer my ? tho...100s hours work and in some cases coin...and till a week ago it was a purple...so for all your work you get an untradeable random blue that's if you could sell worth 40 coin but cant even give us that....can you not see how that is frustrating I can buy blues with 2 days of work and that's buying what I want in market ...so what you have done has made all the work to get to 15 completely useless and turned it into an insults to us is it rilly that hard to make the first time a purple then after the untradeable blues...you know make all the hard work worth it ...it was hard to keep playing after a dev kick like that

You are able to receive a purple part only from the Pathfinder's crate, but these parts are tradeable. And I'll repeat that in order to make prestige levels more rewarding we plan to add some new structure parts to earn while leveling up further.

hi,theres something i dont understand,rubber tired vehicles vs tracked vehicles,how are the rubber tired ones able to push the tracked trucks backwards ? i drive heavy equipment in the real world,that just doesnt happen...EVER.i have a truck built with tracks and lately i am getting pushed all over the place by trucks with tires,is that a bug that needs fixing ?

Hello, Deadseed. It's not a bug, but a feature. Our goal is not to re-create real-life physics, but to preserve the current dynamic gameplay. It doesn't mean that this feature won't be changed in the future, but atm it's not considered to be a bug.

Hi guys ,just wondering why we cant use our 'not for sale' blues in the construction of purples?

It would make them usable to the more experienced players and probably stop so many people whining about how unrewarding they feel

Hello, Lbskat31. The thing is that in a game with a market any untradeable parts shouldn't influence it at all. If a player crafts a purple item using untradable parts, then he may sell it cheaper than any player who crafted the same part with resources and tradable parts. As a result: untradable parts influence the prices and reduce the possible income of players who craft and sell parts.
