Recommended Posts

Main%20Eng.jpg

They are back! Thanks to them, the iron monsters of the Wasteland regularly get new destructive weapons. It is they who are ready to reward only the most devoted and dedicated. Thanks to them, the appearance of many armoured vehicles will change beyond recognition. And their name is Knechte!

  • Talers can only be earned in this mission.
  • Talers cannot be sold or purchased through the in-game market.
  • “New scanner” increases the number of talers received after each battle.
  • After the end of the “Knight riders” event, all unused talers will be withdrawn from the option to exchange them for any other resources.
  • Talers, as well as a certain amount of resources and parts, can be exchanged for goods from a special temporary workbench, “Martin's Tent”.

Knechte portraits

Portraits.jpg

During the ‘Knight Riders’ event, you can also complete special tasks and obtain unique Knechte portraits:

  • For 10 wins in missions or raids, the player receives a portrait of August Donner
  • For 30 wins in missions or raids, the player receives a portrait of Ulrich

Attention! The tasks will be unavailable if you have already obtained these portraits during the previous events!

New pack “Lord of War”

Pack.jpg

Attention! The pack will be available for purchase from April 4 to April 17!

The pack includes:

  • Unique character portrait “Wasteland Baron”.
  • Decor of epic rarity “Ammo belts”.
  • Decor of epic rarity “Bandolier”.
  • Decor of legendary rarity “Baron's banner”.
  • Paint of relic rarity “Shattered”.

The knechte first met the Baron at dawn. He stepped onto the road from the direction of the rising sun, and the air trembled with a haze over the hot sands behind him. His face was covered in fresh wounds, and his chest was crossed out with a half-empty bandolier. Ammo belts wriggled around his left hand like metal snakes, and his right hand gripped a bullet-torn banner.

They almost filled the stranger with lead when he approached their leader, but Martin stopped them with a gesture and looked intently into the eyes of the strange soldier. Nobody knows what he saw there, but the Wasteland Baron, called so because of the invariable iron crown on his head, was immediately appointed an officer and marched to the leader's right. Needless to say, in subsequent battles, Martin never regretted his decision.

Faction workbenches

Shotgun “Nidhogg”

Now the part can be made on the workbench “Underground treasury” of the “Firestarters” faction.

Plasma emitter “Helios”

Now the part can be crafted on the workbench “Laboratory 51” of the “Dawn's Children” faction.

Radar “Oculus VI”

Now the part can be crafted on the workbench “Scavenger outpost” of the “Scavengers” faction.

Interface

  • The window with the description of the Memory missions in the “Adventure” mode is improved.
  • Tweaked the position of machine guns in the “Technology Tree”.
  • The “Rewards” button has been added to the “Clans” tab, which contains comprehensive information about rewards and the conditions for receiving them.

Bug fixes/Miscellaneous

  • Fixed a bug with raiders getting stuck on the “Wrath of Khan” map.
  • Fixed a bug in the login interface through Steam.
  • Improved a number of texts and descriptions.
  • Improved the matchmaking system.

This patchnote reveals all the key in-game changes and doesn't include all the fixes. Changes, that are aimed at improvement of Crossout, appear constantly and may not require their own patch.

The receipes for the weapons added from the previous are really close to other legendary weapons and if you need specific numbers - they are always available in the game!

Love from Lost Coast!

Nice stuff, can't wait to craft some! Although I'm afraid of the hovering Harpy Crickets.

Where's that fabled plasma cutter, though? ;)

Ka1deron (Posted )

Thank you! The plasma cutter is still with this legendary engineer, who's busy fighting those monsters in deep space, I believe:D

can the rift module be used to connect frames so you can drop those too?

and what is the part that is blown off at ~0:39 in the video?

Edited by forc3dinduction

Ka1deron (Posted )

Unfortunately, this option went against the initial design of the structual frames in the game. However there are many other ways this module can be used, especially with art-builds and combined vehicles (using the "Contact" module).

Hello Dev-Team,

the awsome Knight-Rider update came sooner as expected - i love it! The effort you put in creating all of these new cabins is clearly visible.
I'm excited to try out the different cabins and the new weapons until the workbenches will glow hot from the heavy usage.

The package: "Appearance customization kit “Lord of War" for about 5,00€ has a semi decent concidering the items you receive upon
purchase. I hoped of cause that you'll be able to craft these while the Knight-Rider event is going on - but i guess it's okay.

  • Unique character portrait “Wasteland Baron”;
  • Decor “Ammo belts”;
  • “Bandolier” decor;
  • “Baron's banner” decor;
  • “Shattered” paint.

Still i'd like to give you a short review about my thoughts on the recently finished event called:  "Dude, where'd you get the car?"

Pro:

- The Change of the color of the fire animation of some weapons (Laser/ Elefant crickets) was totally insane - i would like to see a "color-kit"
- where you would be able to do that with your ingame weapons, too
- The sticker rewards is a suited idea for the game - since Crossout shines with it's individuality of combining parts with each
- other as you please it's just perfect to have stickers which allow you to create your own "trademark" emotions and so on.
- Creative idea from the developers - i like it.
- For a reused event it was still engaging and fun to play
- You implemented new april car versions of recent gallery uploads
- You were still able to play the other brawls aswell

Contra:
- The requirement to successfully play a total of 68 rounds to unlock all of the availabe stickers from the event was simply put: TOO MUCH.
- Problematic wasn't the amount of required games but the issue that the player needs to achieve at least place 4 of the final score with 8 players.
- If you had seriously bad luck and like (worest case) got three times a tiny Avenger-Car with like 200 durability and had to face all of the other
- you got shredded to pieces in split secounds. At some point i simply lost interest in continuing the pain. It wasn't fun anymore after a certain
- amount of defeats with bad luck. Be honest delevopers: Of cause this mode was made for April - for fun - but even if you have total randomized
- cars - where about 50% of the builds are useless for battle & some dont even have the necessary engery to use all of it's builds weapons - why
- couldn't you at least change the distribution of the stickers that you only have to successfully compete at all of those 68 rounds in the April-Brawl.
- Since it was total unbalanced (fun) madness - it shouldn't matter what score the player accomplished at the end of the round to receive the rewards.

Final result:
Great ideas as usual - but again the same issue with the distribution of the rewards for this brawl. It's like a different bad version of the recently finished
Winter-Brawl. Neat ideas - but not fun to grind at all. If you could only just demand the succesfull finishing of the brawl (like in a normal pvp-match that
you have to reach at least something like 40+ points)
- nobody would leave a round while it's still going on & everybody (indepentend on how good each
players performence is) could fully enjoy your events. If you could only adjust the distribution your future events would be so much more fun to play!

In total a brilliant new patch with lots of new toys for the wasteland - keep it up devs! And please consider the wishes of your playerbase!

Greetings

Why did you remove all the chase from the raid cycle?

Edited by WAsTedMDF

Ka1deron (Posted )

The following raid has been temporarily removed from the rotation because of the technical issues that needed to be adressed ASAP. As soon as they are fixed, they raid will become available again;)

Legend says that chase raids are still available to the wasteland.

But honestly i havn't seen a single chase raid since the last three days while i was online (checked in after each hour for a short time).
So i wonder that myself honestly.

"Perk: “Increases the number of additional charges from modules of “Ammunition” and “Microfactory” types by 50%. Extends the radius of projectile explosions by 20%.”

btw what's the Microfactory types.
are we gonna expect anything new

Ka1deron (Posted )

The "Genesis" microfactory is a module that increases the number of launches for any drones and turrets by 25%;)

The reason why raid "Chase" is not available is very simple: Faction leaders just refuse to send convoys out duo to the fact that M.'s gang is back again. They plan to lay low for a while, maybe they can work out a deal with them, maybe they will wait until M. leaves. Who knows? The only thing we can do is to watch those roads, maybe we can catch them. <3

Super excited to try all the new stuff. Appreciate all the work Devs put in this event.

Would it be possible to see color changing kits for weapons, like some had in April fools event.

Thank you for the feedback and sharing your idea - no promises yet, but it may be considered for the future events.

And again the same... Talers, how many of them for a battle?

Why did u remove the information about how much estimated resource reward there is for a battle? This was visible on resource icon mission details popup.

And it is the same for any mission resource, scrap, wires, batteries, why is this?

This information should be always visible to the players as it was in mission detail popup.

Why even remove it i don't get it?

Edited by szefopl

Ka1deron (Posted )

The amount of talers you can obtain in battles depends on your perfomance in combat, so it's not a fixed amount.
