Beast Mode PvP

Each player picks from 18 possible cars.  Each car may only be picked by one player.  Cars are picked in order from newest player to most game experience. The goal is the first one to 10 kills. If you are over half damaged you enter Beast Mode. Any kills in Beast mode are doubled.

 

Car Templates

All Cars use a Jawbreaker and a PU-1 Charge to give 12 Energy. 

 

3 Movement Types

Kangaroo - All Kangaroo builds have 3 large tires. They take the most damage but losing 1 tire will cripple the ride

Dog - All Dog Builds have 4 APC Tires. Pretty average build.

Ant - All Ant Builds have 6 Studded tires. Weaker smaller tires but has extras in case one gets shot out. 

 

6 Attack Types (All are 12 energy)

Best - 1 x Impulse, 2 x Lancelot, 2 x Lupara

Brave - 2 x Vector, 1 x Wasp, 2 x Exploding Spear

Large - 1 x Phoenix , 1 x Lancelot, 1 x Avenger, 1 x Hatchet

Long - 1 x Little Boy, 1 x Judge, 1 x Exploding Spear

Young - 1 x Spectre, 2 x Lancelot, 3 x Chord

Mean - 1 x Rapier, 2 x Exploding Spear, 3 x Goblin

3 Movement Options x 6 Attack Types = 18 Cars to pick from

 

"Best Kangaroo" would be 1 x Impulse, 2 x Lancelot, 2 x Lupara mounted on a build with 3 large tires

"Best Dog" would be 1 x Impulse, 2 x Lancelot, 2 x Lupara mounted on a build with 4 APC tires

"Best Ant" would be 1 x Impulse, 2 x Lancelot, 2 x Lupara mounted on a build with 6 Studded tires

"Brave Kangaroo would be 2 x Vector, 1 x Wasp, 2 x Exploding Spear  mounted on a build with 3 large tires

and so on for a total of 18 Beast Builds. 

*Design Balance Notes*

For the Purple/White weapon builds you get a better weapon but everyone knows if they take out your Purple weapons you are very weak.  Blue Weapons are average. Best and Brave are "glass cannon" weapons with good DPS and lousy structure. Large and Long are "Iceberg" weapons with weaker DPS and good structure. Young and Mean are average weapons with average DPS and average structure.  3 Large tires, 4 APC tires and 6 Studded tires all have the same 60 pct power penalty. They should be about even. If an Epic weapon was short on 6 energy I added a Lancelot. If a Rare weapon was short  on 6 energy I added exploding Spears. If a common weapon was short on 6 energy I added a Hatchet.
