I want to look into the topic of anomalies in the world of Crossout. They are mysterious , but there is some material to work with.

The World of Crossout: the Crossout "virus" (if it is a virus) is said to have affected the climate, geography, and fauna (animal life).

Artifacts>Folder with Documents>Diary Fragment: The ocean floor is mentioned to be visible, and the water pulled back to the horizon (~5 km for a 2-meter tall person standing at sea level). This is more than what a tsunami would do, so this could be some sort of anomaly.

Artifacts>Folder with Documents>Note Fragment: Mentions the "Necropolis anomaly" and a planned expedition. POV is of the Mentor (Instructor, but probably referring to the same person) since Ivy is mentioned and kept uninformed. Mentor was the leader of the Engineers from 2035 to 2043, when the faction fell from grace and Mentor retired in shame.

Artifacts>Black Crate>Internal Waderkvarn Presentation (2015): the area around the "fallen object" (the UFO shot down in 2011) is said to be transforming. Materials around it, such as metals, minerals, and polymers, are decaying, and people are psychologically affected. This follows statements that Crossout can have geological effects.

Event timeline>2042: The Valley  is "freed" from the "influence" of the "Sepulchre Anomaly".

Event timeline>2044: The valley is settled by the Engineers after the "Sepulchre radiation" disappeared. This is after they fell.

Maps>Blood Rocks: the sandstorms of the Battle Royale Mode are caused by "weather anomalies", and "the laws of nature have become distorted".

Cheetah engine description: Mentions "quick retreats from anomalous zones and hot spots". You can run away from an anomaly, and you want to get away fast.

Punisher machine gun description: Mentions being used by Nomads to escape anomalies. This indicates that you can shoot your way out of at least some anomalies.

The Necropolis Anomaly and the Sepulchre Anomaly could be the same thing. Their names both mean "a place of burial", to some extent. The valley was freed from the latter in 2042, while Mentor was still in charge of the Engineers, and planned an expedition to the former at some point in his role as the leader.

There are two known anomalies: a weather-related one causing strong sandstorms, and one relating to radiation that no longer has much effect. The ocean pulling away from shore could be another, but this characterization, though reasonable, is  unconfirmed.

An anomaly could be anything that began happening that shouldn't be, and that came about after that UFO was shot down. Is the Crossout "virus" an anomaly itself, or maybe a collection of them?

That is an interesting topic to start. Toxic lake is probably also an anomaly. Otherwise the acid would neutralise as soon as enough of it reacted with the huge metal excavator in the middle. Acid cannot dissolve forever.

Addendum-

[Stories]-Bob: Features carnivorous hornets "the size of a duck" with an acidic sting. Radiation alone didn't do this. Fits the narrative of Crossout having biological effects. Could such an anomalous growth effect be seen with other animals, or even some people, as well?

Addendum 2-

[Panorama] "Crater": The "Sepulchre" is mentioned as a location or thing that the crater is near. Looking at the "Sepulchre"/"Necropolis" Anomaly naming, this is more reinforcement that the two terms could be referencing the same thing, with the name "Sepulchre Anomaly" coming from its proximate location and "Necropolis Anomaly" being the name of the anomaly itself.

I feel like one or more of the people in the storyline can manipulate anomalys becuase the Rat King in battle royale says,"Let the storm begin" (or something like that). And if the storm is a anomaly then it is like he can control it.

It's possible the anomalies were named like this after they occurred and killed thousands of people. Pompeii could've been considered a graveyard after Vesuvius erupted.
