Melee

Looks like a holographic blade projecting from a small module.

Contact resistance on module, No blade collision, blade passes through objects, deals energy damage, heats parts, deals 25% more damage to explosive modules.

Make it cost 1 or 2 energy. Damage should be lower than physical melee. Could have a couple different sizes and rarities. Maybe a perk for epic and legendary. Dawn's children should have their own unique melee and this is it. 

Another idea I thought if would be a kinetic sapping module that functions like a bumper or plow except it's a projecting module that creates a very short range electric field around your vehicle that stuns your enemies by reducing the aim time, reload speed, vehicle speed, and also raises accumulated heat and reduces cooling functions of anyone dumb enough to come at you. 6 energy cost. Basically a better aegis that electrifies your vehicle. I think it should have an active time higher than aegis but cool slower. The effect should last on enemies for .5 seconds when in contact with user.

Would make it require a button press to use.

On activation lasts 3 seconds then a 4 second cooldown. Then it can do some good damage.

The new KR hologram "wings" is EXACTLY how I picture this energy blade weapon should be...

with the new bumper I Want this more, because it would likely allow you to put it behind armor like with the holograms.

That could be its bonus over most active melee.

Basic idea

Holo blade
rarity: special
type: active melee
power cost: 2
function: upon activation will place a blade in the direction it is aimed, said blade damages all parts it comes into contact with (not counting the users) and can not be blocked. blade lasts 3 seconds after which it requires 4 seconds to recharge.
module size: 2x2x2
health: 33
PS: 145 (these are just random)
damage type: energy

perk: reduces hit targets energy by 1 for 2 seconds stacks upto a -3.  (basically disables weapons and modules at random)

The video won't load, but I'm thinking something like Lascerator.  (I guess a Light-sabre would be more like Mauler Druzbuhz)  The same basic hit box, anyway, and Glowy.  Rather than the Durability Perk, I'd say the longer the Corona is in contact with the enemy, the more damage it does, up to say 15% for 3 Seconds?  That way, it shouldn't be OP paired with Heating, and Photon perks, as an Energy Weapon.

It aint so long ago when i suggested very similar but made out of long sturdy chainsaw chain - like chain.

An energy blade / holoblade install in vehicle sides...

Short Duration...

Highly risky... hit and run play style...

Only for excellent drivers...
