[Update] [Xbox] Crossout 1.0.52

Meet the final Horseman of Apocalypse and a new location to match! In addition to the new map, we also made the necessary balance tweaks, changed the formula for calculating the PS of guns and equipment, added new game modes, and that's not all!

New PvP map “Chemical Plant”

Never before have the squads of Lunatics and Firestarters ventured so far east. Before continuing their campaign to the east, factions from the west wanted to know how good the defense of the Steppenwolfs and their allies was.

A large squad of armoured vehicles travelled almost to the very heart of the Scavengers' land in the Valley. The raiders' lucky ticket was a large camp, which suffered a daring attack. A group of Lunatics managed to escape with the caravan of valuable loot: ammunition, spare parts and fuel.

Scar AB sent everyone available to chase them. The raiders were overtaken at the Chemical Plant, where they made a stop. Scavengers responded to the unexpected raid with their own sudden attack: a night shelling destroyed the caravan and the camp around it.

The caravan remained in the center of the plant and now attracts everyone who loves easy money. But it's not that simple: the geography of the plant is such that, in order to safely take loot from there, you need to control most of the territory of the complex.

The map is zoned by roads that remained at the factory. Wide and open driveways provide a good overview and lines of sight for some sections of the map. Numerous factory buildings serve as shelters and provide ample space for maneuvering armoured vehicles focused on melee range.

The battles on the map will follow the “Domination” scenario. Three main points are located on the map — the railway station, the place of the convoy explosion and the chemical workshop.

Heavy vehicles can immediately try to capture the central base, and fast cars can capture the nearest point and then get closer to the battlefield or get to the farthest point and capture it.

Crossout — Horsemen of Apocalypse: Pestilence (Elite pack)

  • 4000 in-game coins.

Additionally, the player gets:

It's hard to recognize the heart of a factory range for military equipment in a hangar sheltered by sand and burnt by the sun. They used to recreat the conditions of real battles, adjust weapons, evaluate bullet ranges, and conduct trial trips here. And now the gang of Horsemen of Apocalypse has appropriated the territory.

Marina Pokrovskaya does not like her nickname. It reminds her of the darkest days of the Horsemen of Apocalypse and evokes a burning longing.
Once upon a time, several dozen people were locked in a Waderkvarn bunker and survived the end of the world and the cruel betrayal of their own kind. But the story of Pestilence is not about that. Of course, she also played an important role in the formation of the gang, like the other horsemen. But her wit and knowledge really came in handy when, after all the misfortunes, a plague came to the test site.
Medicine was the first resource to run dry. And what was found in the neighbouring cities did not last long. Marina tried all possible means, but the disease spread too quickly, people panicked and carried it further. The epidemic was inevitable. To curb its spread, Marina had only one remedy left. Fire…
The disease has not returned for many years. And the once-inexperienced emergency doctor who saved the life of Victor Pyrrhus, was reborn from the ashes and received a new name — Pestilence. Now the horsewoman supplies the gang with provisions, patches up the wounds of her own and the others. And when pestilence swallows their lands again, her hand on the flamethrower will not flinch.

Exhibition

A new tab “Clash of Engineers” has been added to the exhibition, in which themed competitions for the assembly of armoured vehicles will be held. 

  • When choosing this tab, you can submit your armoured car for the current contest, vote for the vehicles you like or view the list of winners by selecting the appropriate windows.
  • When voting, you can choose as many cars as you like.
  • The vehicles for display in the voting window are randomly selected from the list of all entries. Using the “Other blueprints” button, you can open the next selection of vehicles.
  • The duration of both stages of the competition (submission of entries and voting) is shown under the heading of each of the tabs.

Warning! Entries from the “Clash of engineers” can't be saved to your blueprints. Take care of your submissions — do not post the blueprints meant for contests to the general exhibition until the entry submission phase is over.

Missions

New Mission — “Experiment”

The “Experiment” mission is available from reputation level 4 with the Engineers faction.

The main feature of the mode is the familiar mechanic of repairing an armored car. Let us remind you of the basic principles of this mechanic:

  • Entering repair mode is done by pressing the “A” key (by default, you can assign another key in the control settings).
  • Entering repair mode takes 2 seconds. At any time you can exit it by pressing the same key or one of the weapon groups keys, but it will also take 2 seconds.
  • Any damage received, as well as the attached harpoons of the enemy “Skinners” and “Kapkans”, automatically interrupt the repair process.
  • Repair cannot be started after activation of self-destruction.
  • During repair:
    • The player cannot control the armoured vehicle.
    • Melee weapons and suspension parts do not deal damage to opponents during the repair process.
    • During repairs, the effect of stealth is disabled, your own and allied harpoons are unhooked and the “Contact 2M” docking module is disconnected.
  • The repair procedure is as follows:
    • First, the parts belonging to the categories “Movement” and “Frame” are repaired.
    • Then your weapons are repaired.
    • All other parts, including hardware, structural parts and decor, are repaired last.
    • The order of repair within each category is determined by how close the parts are to the cabin. Parts located far from the cabin will be repaired later than all others.
    • First, the part is repaired with 0 durability. Then its durability is gradually restored to 100%. Immediately after this, repair of the next part in queue begins.
  • The higher the rarity of the vehicle's cabin, the faster the repair of the car.
  • For penetrable parts and parts that are resistant to certain types of damage, there are modifiers to their repair speed, since the “effective durability” of such parts is higher than that of conventional parts.
  • After the repair, all explosive parts (generators, barrels, spears, ammunition) no longer explode. The appearance of the repaired explosive spears may differ from the original.
  • After the repair, the number of shells of your weapon is not restored.
  • Repaired ammunition modules no longer increase your weapon’s ammunition.
  • Repaired generator modules no longer provide additional points of energy.
  • Repaired fuel barrels and tanks do not give you fuel, even after the successful completion of the battle.

Attention! In the “Experiment” mode, destroyed enemies are guaranteed to drop ammo packs that you can pick up.

For participating in this new mission, you can get unique themed stickers:

  • 2 “rare” stickers “Serviced since 2021”: for participating in 5 battles in the “Experiment” mode.
  • 2 “rare” stickers “Pete's repairs”: for participating in 10 battles in the “Experiment” mode.
  • 2 “rare” stickers “Mechanic on duty”: for participating in 20 battles in the “Experiment” mode.

All stickers are issued only once.

Encounter

Changed base capture mechanics:

  • The neutral base capture scale is divided into 5 segments.
  • To win, you need to capture 3 of the 5 segments of the scale.
  • The already captured segments cannot be “recaptured”.
  • For each individual captured segment, players who are within the base at the time of capture will get experience points.
  • Segments of the scale that are not completely captured are gradually reset to zero if there are no players within the base.

Brawls

  • Added 2 new brawls: “Big Bad Burners” and “Boar Fight”.
  • At the moment, the brawls are not included in the schedule and are available only in “Custom battle”, as well as in tournament activities and special events.

Race

A new race track on the Wrath of Khan map has been added. Currently it is available only in the “Custom battle mode.

Custom battle

Added the option “Shared blueprint” to the mode settings. When you select it, all participants will use the armored car of the creator of the lobby.

Invasion

  • Added new blueprints for raiders and leviathans from developers.
  • Increased time provided for each wave of enemies from 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Changed groups of raiders that confront the players.
  • Now, to participate in the “Invasion” mode, you need to assemble a car no less than 5000 PS.

Developer Comment: Initially, the “Invasion” mode was conceived as one of the challenges for experienced players. This is a mode where survivors must face really powerful leviathans, consisting of a large number of parts and with a lot of guns. In reality, battles took place on low-PS machines against extremely low-power leviathans, which completely contradicts the meaning of the mode. With an increase in the minimum PS requirements for a player’s car, the power of the selected leviathans will increase, and success in the “Invasion” will depend on the skill of the engineers and their coordinated team actions.

Raids

Improved raiders’ appearance for all the low difficulty raids.

Structural parts

  • Now, with each new level of prestige in the “Firestarters” faction, the player will get random structural parts from the following list (until all the parts are received):
    • “Left catheter” and “Right catheter” — 3 each. (all parts are given out for one level of prestige).
    • “Left plaster” and “Right plaster” — 1 each (both parts are given out for one level of prestige).
    • “Bandage” — 2 pcs. (both parts are given out for one level of prestige).
    • Vial — 1 pc.
    • “Pill” — 1 pc.
  • Thus, all structural parts can be obtained for 5 levels of prestige with the Firestarters faction.
  • Attention! The parts are issued for each new level of prestige obtained after the update. Prestige levels received before the update are not counted, and the parts are not given for them.
  • If you purchased the “Horsemen of Apocalypse: Pestilence” pack, then if you increase the level of prestige with the Firestarters faction, additional structural parts will not be issued.

Changes in PS for weapons and modules

Now the PS index of weapons and hardware of various rarities is calculated according to the following formula:

PS = part rarity modifier * amount of energy consumed (or, in the case of generators, provided)

Attention! If the part does not consume and produce energy, then PS = part rarity modifier - 25%.

Rarity modifiers of hardware and weapons:

  • Base rarity: 50
  • Common rarity: 85
  • Rare parts: 150
  • Epic rarity: 235
  • Legendary rarity: 400
  • Relic rarity: 600
Spoiler

Thus, for example, the PS for a weapon of legendary rarity “Harvester” will be equal to: 400 * 4 = 1600 PS. The PS of the “rare ” Hardcore engine, which does not consume energy, will be equal to 115 PS.

Developer Comment: We agree with the majority of players that it is necessary to minimize the number of cases when a machine consisting entirely of, for example, “common” and “rare” parts is encountered in a battle with a machine with “legendary” and “relic” weapons. The updated system for calculating the power score of weapons and equipment will allow more efficient separation of such vehicles in different queues. 

Weapons

Course cannon “CC-18 Typhoon”

Gun damage reduced by 11%

Developer Comment: According to the latest statistics, the Typhoon surpasses all other relic weapons in its effectiveness. We strive to ensure that the parts of one rarity were as close to each other in this parameter as possible. Therefore, we slightly reduced the damage done by this gun.

Melee weapon “Harvester”

The perk of this weapon has been changed: “Deals 135% more damage to enemies under the influence of negative effects, as well as to heated parts of the vehicle”.

Developer Comment: At the moment, the Harvester is one of the leaders in terms of efficiency among the “legendary” weapons. Changing its perk will allow the Harvester to return to the same level as the rest of the weapons of this rarity.

Flamethrower “Draco”

Weapon durability increased by 16% (from 310 to 360 units)

Developer Comment: Draco is currently one of the least effective weapons of the “legendary” rarity. One of the reasons for this lies in the fact that the flamethrower is extremely vulnerable and is one of the leaders in the conventional rate of fire among the “legendary” guns. Previously, we have already improved the characteristics of “Draco”, but they were not enough. We increase its durability in order to achieve the proper survival of the weapon in battle.

Flamethrower “Firebug”

Weapon durability increased by 15% (from 470 to 540 units)

Developer Comment: The main problem of Firebug is similar to that experienced by Draco. For a short-range weapon with a large model, it does not have enough durability. As a result, you can achieve an effective game with Firebug only with the help of “box” machines. The parameters of “Firebug” among all relic weapons leave much to be desired, despite the latest balance corrections for this weapon. Therefore, we are increasing its durability.

Movement

Changed the physical parameters calculation system of all the movement parts, except hovers and mechanical legs. This may result in various changes of center of mass in some of the vehicles.

Hovers “Icarus IV” and “Icarus VII”

Modified the changes to inertia dampening of armored vehicles with hovers. Now hovers dampen the inertia of the armored car more strongly and should not climb up almost vertical surfaces.

Hardware

Engine “Hot red”

Added new attachment points.

  • Now, in the notification of increasing the level of reputation with factions, the modes that become available to the player are also displayed.
  • Now, when changing leadership in a group while waiting for a fight, the whole group needs to re-enter the queue for battle.
  • Now, when previewing a CK in the store, you can enable / disable the display of welding points.
  • A button “Send blueprint” has been added to the exhibition interface.
  • An “Open” button has been added to the screen for viewing containers produced on the workbench.
  • A button “Use” has been added to the screen for viewing parts manufactured on the machine or obtained from containers.
  • Now, on the debriefing screen, the number of patches received per battle, and the progress until new patches are received, is displayed when the cursor is on the patch.

  • An adaptive music system specifically for raids has been created. The intensity of the musical accompaniment now depends on the intensity of the game events. Now there are three options for the intensity of the music track, each of which will be included at certain points in the battle.

  • Improved balance of sounds of weapons in the game.

  • Fixed a bug where landing after jumping from an elevated position could lead to a car getting stuck in the ground.
  • The position of the icons with weapons on the spectator's screen has been adjusted.
  • Spawn points on the map “Old Town” in the “War for Fire” raid are fixed.
  • Fixed a bug when projectiles of the “AGS-55 Impulse” didn’t do damage after exploding nearby enemies.
  • Fixed a bug where raider cars could appear inside the leaders' cars on the Terminal-45 map and in the Steel Cradle raid.
  • Fixed a bug where the leviathan strength indicator in the Invasion blocked the message about its appearance.
  • Fixed a bug with incorrectly working patches “Sky Captain”, “Through the defences” and “No trace”.

  • Fixed a bug related to the active area of the “To Battle” button.
  • The bug with the incorrect location of the Sprinter cabin in the technology tree has been fixed.
  • The bug with different collision models of the Reaper minigun with the CK has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug with incorrect display of the player’s location on the minimap of the “Ship Graveyard” location.
  • Fixed a bug with the incorrect location of one of the spawn points on the map “Fortress”.
  • The active area of “Harvester” has been adjusted. Now the weapon does no damage if contact does not occur with the blades.
  • Fixed a bug where raiders on the Lost Coast map could appear out of the reach of players.
  • Fixed a bug due to which it was possible to climb onto the bridge on the Crater map.
  • Fixed and improved a number of texts and descriptions.
  • Fixed a bug where drones and turrets of players could continue to attack the bases of already destroyed enemy turrets.
  • Fixed models of some objects of the environment on the map “Nameless Tower”, leading to the appearance of “invisible walls” next to them.
  • Fixed a bug where raiders on the Dead Highway map could get inside the rocks.
  • Fixed a bug where help with turning over was shown not only to the allied team, but also to the enemy.

This patchnote reveals all the key in-game changes and doesn't include all the fixes. Changes, that are aimed at improvement of Crossout, appear constantly and may not require their own patch.

cant seem to find the pack in the store, however, the power score changes are in effect, do you know when i will see the new pack in the Microsoft store?

Just curious..... What happened to the race brawl on the Wrath of Kahn map in custom mode?  Seemed kind of silly to me to adapt a map for race, not offer it in normal rotation, and then not to include it in custom mode as promised.  What is up with that?

Yesterday i did play 5 hours after the last update, this is my report:

I did start with my 4.5K build that did take PS few lower changes for engine and ammo
to new experiment plant, nice the new chemical plant, but something strange because in my temmate there was
players with double mandrake and double tsunami, nice the ammo peark but i relly don't need it,
the repair kit was fine but i didn't have many chance to use because the enemy most of time kill until i use it.

In the next ones experiment mission i realized that there wasn't PS limit, from 3K to 12/14K PS other players enemy or teammmate
this is crazy, i did defeat 60% of all my game !

The normal missions was like before with builds didn't have change PS, but with mine 2 reaper 7.5K became 9.7K and the matching
put me with 12/14K teammate enemy.... no chance to play long time, the reaper was take out in few seconds from my enemy

My buids with one tsunami 6.5K became 7 K and i was to fight with 8/9K enemy... better than reaper ones but to hard for alive until finish

So Reaper and Tsunami wasn't anymore usefull for me so i did sell it and i did loosing 4K coins for upgrade my purple items: thank to update.

If next update will be same this one i will quit Crossout and looking for other game.

yeah, i don't count loss that i fused, i did say i loose a lot of coin to sold my epic weapons for buy the items to fuse... it's just my choose i don't like wait so i did sold lower.

i am just dislike had sold my rare items cause this update.

What did you do to the MM? Yesterday my 6k builds were being grouped with builds up to 9k nearly every match , used get some mid 7s occasionally before the update but generally the PS was fairly even. 

PS changes seem irrelevant as I'm still fighting the same builds as before.

Good than i was not alone, the MM is broken if we use rare or legendary weapons that was change PS  but in experiment mission MM don't work fine for every PS you use.

It's probably due to our already low player base being split up between the two game modes.

As i learned the experimental mode doesnt have MM at all. Its like a brawl, free for all PS brackets. MM only tries to get an average PS for both teams.

Final boss on normal and hard raids 1.5x more difficult to defeat than before.  Forgot to mention that in your notes. New tab you took the time to introduce us to is not there.  Is this going to only appear when there is a build competition?

Well, probly was the first day because last weekend the MM for normal missions  worked (bad) like before update so no much change, but i found that when the MM go crazy if you reject and go fast in next one it's will work better...

That make me scary is the sequence of win/lose alternated so often that make me think if there are some think underware.

Not bad overall. IDK what your obsession with nerfing the harvester into the ground is...i mean you've essentially removed their end game clan wars effectiveness, while not really doing much for the sub 7k players. 

Look at me advocating for melee....smh. :01414:
