Survivors! In this update, you will find a new unique pack “Born Free,” the updated “Clash of engineers” as well as important improvements to various elements of the game and bug fixes!

Armoured Car “Steel Fang”:

  • Weapon: Epic autocannon “AC64 Joule”.
    • PS: 940.
    • Durability: 180 pts.
    • Power consumption: 4 pts.
    • Weight: 240 kg.
    • Perk: “As movement speed increases, the heating of the weapon during shooting slows down. The maximum deceleration of heating is 25% at 80 km/h.”
  • Unique portrait: “Cassidy”
  • Relic paint can: “Blue sky”.
  • A pack of structural parts.
  • 800 in-game coins.

Additionally, the player gets:

  • A set of unique stickers.
  • Increases the maximum number of parts used to 55.

Prior to Crossout, Alexander Cassidy worked as a janitor in a joint by a military airfield. He always believed that he was born free — that is, born to fly. But he failed to join the academy: poor health and poor test results interfered. Since then, day after day, cleaning up in a roadside cafe, he watched the beautiful and, most importantly, free planes take off and land.

Everything changed with Crossout. The disaster almost completely destroyed and emptied the airfield, and Alexander sneaked inside. The former janitor realized that the aircrafts would no longer fly, but he himself had also changed. Cassidy now knew that someone born to fly could fly without going up into the air. A fighter pilot's helmet became a symbol of this idea, and spare parts from aircraft came in handy when creating an armoured car. Now the survivor travels through the Wasteland with fellow nomads, embodying his dream — being free.

Clash of engineers

  • Now, at the voting stage, any player can report a blueprint, which in his opinion does not correspond to the task/theme of the contest or violates the rules of the game.
  • In order to leave a report, right-click on the blueprint and select “The blueprint does not comply with the rules!”.
  • New protective measures have been added for those blueprints that do not comply with the rules of the contest
  • Note that Clash of engineers is post-moderated. This means that complaints can be processed after some time.

Structural parts

  • Now, with each new level of prestige in the “Nomads” faction, the player will get random structural parts from the following list (until all the parts are received):
    • Air splitter — 1 pc.
    • “Side air intake left” and “Side air intake right” — 1 pc. (both parts are given out for one level of prestige).
  • Thus, all structural parts can be obtained for 2 new prestige levels with the “Nomads” faction.
  • Attention! The parts are issued for each new level of prestige obtained after the update. Prestige levels received before the update are not counted, and the parts are not given for them.
  • If you purchased the “Born Free” pack, then with an increase in the level of prestige with the “Nomads” faction, additional structural parts will not be issued.

  • Fixed a bug where teams from the same clan could meet in a clan battle.
  • Now, victories in the “Experiment” mode count towards the weekly challenge for 8 victories in missions, for which scrap is rewarded.
  • Fixed a bug in which a fully repaired part in the “Experiment” mode could continue to sparkle and smoke.
  • Fixed a bug associated with mounting frames when assembling an armoured car. Now frames cannot be welded to structural parts.
  • Fixed a bug where the chassis could be attached to structural parts and the cabin.
  • Improved a number of texts and descriptions.

Hello! We plan to release at least one more update during October. The next one is planned to include much more new content features than this one. And yes, the Knechte are expected to arrive after the end of Halloween event, so stay tuned!

Not really, KEKLord - it also includes various important improvements and bug fixes. They don't concern just the technical aspects - there is also a number of tweaks for the "Clash Of Engineers" that improve both the competition itself and its rules.

_Lemmy44_, hello! We are aware of the current situation with the radars and currently we are developing a couple of ways to solve it. As soon as it's included in one of the updates, it will definitely be described in the patchnotes.

This update seems good. Lesser than legit, better than not bad.
Joule is cool weapon but is it only obtainable in this pack? I hope it become craftable or at least buyable in other next packs.

I already posted so many things that i want to see in suggestion section. So i don't wanna mention them again here.
I really anticipate new October update and next Knechte after Halloween.

VisceraCleaner, hello! As usual, apart from purchasing the pack, Joule can be obtainable on the market as well. And yes, soon we will share more details both on Halloween and the Knechte's return, so stay tuned;)

When is experimental going away? Im tired of playing 2v4 with a bunch of bots. And on the subject of bots. How hard is it to not allow multiples of the same bots on a team. If there are 4 bots it should be something like tsunami bot, mandrake bot, aspect bot, and mammoth bot. Not ALL tsunami bots

Joule feels more like baby-Cyclone than the Whirlwind does, so maybe that tech-tree relationship could be rethought. (Joule is acknowledged as the direct upgrade from Rapier)

Can we skip the Halloween event and go straight into kneche riders. After the decor nerf there is no reason to particpate in the halloween and xmas events. Unless you have cks and holograms there will be very little participation. Just let us have kneche already

Anyone know if this is a bug or not?

 

There are 3 newly unlock-able parts and as I have bought the new pack, so the parts should have been unlocked.

Also there are nine 4x2 light frames in the pack. Normally, player only can get 8 of them (not nine) by increasing lunatic faction level.
Is it intended?

Still no additional changes to the high ps/cw meta in anyway. Typhoon and scorps are still dominating 90% of the weapon in the game. The last 11% damage nerf did absolutely noting to address the problem that we have right now. Dont be fooled by the melee builds doing their thing right now if the balance of the game made sense there should not be a possibility that pure long range setup should work at all right now. As soon as scorps and typhoons get nerfed and you can run something good against melee (retchers helios or fortunes) you will notice that melees are pretty bad builds in the game right now.

Make scorps, typhoons and stunamies 7 energy weapons. And that should be at least a start to fixing the problem.

Since we have a problem few builds being too good. Massive benefit to the game in my mind would be to make the CW to cycle 3 different ps lvls week to week basis. first week with 6500 max ps per build. second week with 10000 max ps per build and 3rd week No limit for ps.

I would see this make cw way more accessible to the newer players and give a purpose to the lower tier items in the game. And give us new content that we have not really seen before in the sense of seeing new interesting metas in new cw ps weeks.

Osmozi, hello! As you can see, the following patch included mostly the necessary bug - fixes and changes to the "Clash of Engineers". However, we plan to adress a number of balance matters in the later updates and some of them are already being worked at.

scorp hover... and i have had typhoon hover. And i have played close to everysingle legendary weapon in the game so jeah... That is why am saying this...

I think much better solution than nerf of typhoon and scorp will be perk rework (typhoon, punisher, harvester) and buff some forgotten legendaries (mammoth). And of course solution of those multiple radars.

the reason why i would rather nerf them than buff others is that we have seen the game in pretty good balance before. aka before hover change. Back then builds and weapons had their purpose. Only few too good items where in the game then. Stunamies and scorps where too good back then. You might be suprised about me mentioning the tsunamies but they sure do the job of mammoths way too well. Also we simply dont know what the other relics can do if these few guns that dominate stay how they are. Personaly i dont see the power creep being the healthy option for the game. 

The radar spam is a problem for sure.

In my opinion everything went wrong when they started reworking the CW mechanics. Before it always used to be top 30- 10 uranium top 20- 20x uranium top 10- 30x uranium and top 1- 50x uranium. Then top 60 gained 10 uranium aswell, and top 30 gained 20 a week. This was good for lower tier clans in my opinion. And I saw improvement since I was leading my own clan at that time. Then they started changing the entire uranium rewarding system. You gained 1 uranium per win depending on league. So everyone started farming and could have a relic in 1 month with a scanner. After that hovers got ''nerfed'' and the typhoons got added everything changed to typhoon. I personally think that is where everything went wrong. So I would agree with @Osmozi

You craft your armored vehicle.... as powerful as you think it can be using maybe 20 radars as armor or any other parts...why should we remove radar armor? just cause you and other complain? :15:.

Because we actually see the brokenness behind it and want it fixed for the sake of the game and newer players.
Same goes for Typhoons, idc if its a buff for other relics or a nerf as long as meta changes im happy.

And yes I do own Typhoon.

The problem right now is that if you step out of line and use something alse than scorp or a phoons is that you will get absolutely dominated by these same weapons. So this means that you cant use anything good against melee right now. This is not healthy for the game. so you have 3 options what you can properly use typhoons melees or scorps. most of the weapons and high ps play are close to useless because they get wrecked so hard by things that are too good at everything. Why cant you use i dont know retcher spider... because you cant. all the cannons will destroy you instantly. Just to give you an exsample.
