Melee damage passes to connected parts whatever is being rammed. Connecting melee parts to the cabin or something tanky is a fix when possible.

Ram damage does that to everything. The only bumpers wich have some passthrough are hatchets, bladewings and the DC bumper, and they're only sitting at 25%.

It's Cannon Day, and I'm having so much fun with my new toy, I can't bring myself to take it off.  Probably going to get my weakly minor crate, anyway.

Do you manage to do hard raid with this build ? do you use repair kits, have a good score ?

Seems to me taht like melee builds make you tank more damage and die more often, while blocking fire-sight of other teammates at times.

Yeah.  Some Frontier Defense.  I playtest them in Custom Matches, because they don't take Fuel.  Also, it eliminates Variables like carrying sandbags.

1:  Not a purely melee build.  The triggers do well enough for degunning and stuff, but the Harvester is primarily for Bruisers, Bosses, and Levis.  It has melee, but it's not limited to that, I also have some Range.  (Not a lot, but >Spark, Shotguns, and Flame Throwers)

2:  Low profile.  Extremely low profile, so a good raider (Legs, or a Tower) should have no trouble shooting over me.  I don't.

More often than not, I get blocked by someone who's not equipped for it, rushing in with Auto-cannons.  LOL.

So far my best attempt on dual cannons, i call it Dogpile, brother of Tur-D. Red Reindeer makes it visible from its camo awesomety. But seriously, its really good cannon vehicle for my likings. Ultra fused supremacy, you know. Blast radius buffed Hulks, 2 ammo boxes both fused, fused cab, fused tracks n wheels.  Plus Colossus breathing heavy as its heart and a radio, radar plus gas gen. Blows up well too.

Thats just waiting for hovers but i thought its fair if i keep it on wheels so guys have some chances against it. Puddles of blood and fire i tell 'ya, its a surf ride to oblivion.

It's not on Exhibition.  It's got a Shotgun, Combat Laser, and Blockchain counts for Cannon Day.  (Also, a Chameleon, and Cheetah.)  So basically, I don't have to customize every third day.

Pretty much makes this thread moot.

Well, it's Cannon Day, so i decided to see which one I like first.  Photon:

It basically came down to Ammo Capacity, raw Speed, and also what kinds of Cannons you can use with it.  (All of them.)  Incidentally, why Quasar?  Gun Elevation.  Try to get a Fatman to tilt up that high.  In fact, if you know any other cannon with 45%s of elevation, I'd love to hear about it.  (Incidentally, it will also depress enough to shoot directly forward, but it's not real good for the bumper.

Way fun,even gives some mvp's.  Also with combo of Rapier and AC50 or just 2 of them 50's. But i  like it as its in the pic and (in my opinion) its very much a blue build...though it has Hardcore.

Quite ugly ,and driver would not see much at all.

It turns out that with Colossus, and 1 Seal (Ampere tucked between the hips)  you have just enough time to overheat the Miniguns before the Incinerator reloads.  That's sitting still, which I don't recommend, but at 80+Km/H, you can shoot 30% longer.  Re-aim while the MGs cool off, wind them back up while the target burns, melt some parts, rinse, repeat...

It's not an infinite ammo cheat like Favorite, but I've got some long range, AoE, DoT, indirect fire with weapon stripping, and targeted close range fire when they close.  Hopefully heated up, so I can shoot their guns/wheels off even faster.

The plan isn't to minmax for 1 fight, but being able to fight back, in any fight.  Raids, PvP.  It'll probably be a Reaper, so I can drop the Seal at the end of the month, going into Clan Wars.  (Got a 30 day Scanner when it was on sale for $5USD)  Until then, this is really good for grinding pretty much whatever, except for Cannon (Incinerator doesn't count) and Shotgun Dailies.

Okay, but how does it look?

Update:  I just topped 5,000 damage in 1 Fire/Shoot cycle.  Some sort of Humpy Goliath monstrosity, he didn't get close enough to shoot me back, couldn't see any Goblins sticking out.

Well it looks mean, and mean is good.

I really like the non-hidden weapons, a d the nose-down spikey stance. And as usual,i dig that you seem to favor somewhat compact and symmetric,well shaped looks instead of some spaced armor crappy looking assymmetric pile of miscellanous parts .

From a far it might look like a wedge, and i guess its an advantage.

It's not not a Wedge?  I mean, that's it's tertiary weapon, basically a bayonet but I mostly fight wedges.  First they have to make it through the Fire, which decloaks them.  I try to shoot out enough wheels with the miniguns that all they can do is spin in circles.  Then, they have to go around, because trying to wedge me from the front isn't a real good plan, especially when I'm in leg mode.  In leg mode, I can straight up-out turn them.  

My main advantage is they don't know how to fight me.  There's lots of Bigram/Bigfoot tilted Incinerator artillery builds on the Exhibition, but most of them in Missions have 2 incinerators, so you just have to get close enough (Preferably under you) that they can't burn you without burning themselves.  

This straight up counters Shotgun Wedge specifically, and has a chance against a "Dog" depending on the breed.  There's so many different combinations between Flame Thrower, Harvester, Spark, Annihilator, Lances and I even see a Hammerfall (To trigger the bonus damage on Harvester for half a second) every once in a while.  (1 Hammerfall, you can hit it right before you close to Flamethrower range, before it starts heating parts.)  It's impossible to make a counter-build to account for them all, but I have a fighting chance, and they have to run through Fire to get to me.

It's also asymmetrical:

Unfortunately, the Incinerator is 3 wide, so you either need 2, or you have to use a 1x frame down the middle to make it an odd number of units wide.  Which I've done, but it's impossible to get the front-end right.  I had to resort to stacking Van Doors, and Window parts.  Blegh!

Been just redoing the car i showed last time and i kinda like how it gets slowly bit better. AC50's,the nerfed kinds just bug me out...

Bladewings.  Needs bladewings in the front.  If you have all 4, and Double Bladewings, you can do this:

I know, your build/my build, but the only complaint is a couple Pipetooth on the front of an APC Roof Part like that.

It also does beaucoupes of ramming damage, if you have the parts.

i just used the blade wings ( i hsve just 2 )  on doors to slow down some wedges as ive seen em sometimes hitting the brakes to avoid hitting em. This is quite slow and wont accelerate perfectly so i cant really ram...but push a bit to gain some damage.
