Steel championship team.

Recommended Posts

topic above gave me an idea, going to spent a bit working on it. I need ideas though. will edit this topic with each build as it is finished. The objective make a 5 man steel championship team with differing builds all fast all harpooned.

Will edit topic with each one.

TEAM: Steppen dragons

Info: composed of 5 members of the steppenwolf third artillery crew. This team is an oddity among the raiders, survivors, and crazies that normally frequent the steel championship. That said they are not less ruthless when it comes to the game. Each member has a unique vehicle designed around their strengths in the game, and while only three of them are ever out at a time, they rotate depending on who or what they are fighting against. They see each match as a battle each opposing team as an OP4 and while they are some of the best players, they still can be found in a bar drinking moonshine with the rest of the raiders when the match is done. As for now though, who knows how an artillery crew even got cleared to spend their RnR playing the steel championship.

Their vehicles are as follows. (more will be added.)

Five star (Not on exhibition)

20200413104010_1.jpg

Car position: goal keeper

Equipment: Emily revolver loaded with Concussion rounds, Skinner as required by the championship rules, and a Kapkan mine layer.

Driver: Brandon "Kobold" Worshire, when not acting as a Steppenwolf artillery commander this Half Awol soldier is entering into the steel championship every year. This year he brought a team, each with a car built to handle different roles on the field, sure it is a 3v3 but a 5 man team can swap to counter their enemies and he knows it. Each year his team enters, each year they win food and water. Though they have never made it to the finals and seem to throw games just before that. Seems they don't want recognition and are just there to win enough to survive and have fun.

Steel strategy: In the steel championship Five star is generally seen around the goal, placing kapkans on both sides to reduce its area required to protect. Though the mines can't hit the ball they can stop the opposing team from approaching. When an opposing player gets close the Five star will try to use its harpoon to lead them into mines, while using the Emily to burst push the ball away. An accurate driver could likely push the ball all the way to the enemies goal, but to do so would be such a feet it would be like a goalie throwing the ball into the Oppositions goal.

Countering: Good teams have quickly learned the best way to counter Five Star is to destroy the kapkans, While all weapons are modified to not harm per regulations, the kapkans where modifiedto shut down the moment they take any force of damage, which means a single spike one shot or wheel hitting them will cause them to pop.

Point man (SCH Point Man)

RPOWw4t.jpg

Car position: Offense

Equipment: a summator nail gun, and standard issue Harpoon gun.

Driver: Tracy "knee breaker" valentine, Is the main spotter for an elite Steppenwolf artillery unit, her job is simple point to a location so the artillery falls on enemy cars. A simple job and one she finds really boring, as predicting speed and movement is just that boring to her. She wanted action and when her commander told her they would have an opertunity to join the steel championship she jumped on it, until she saw their rides. Seeing them as deathtraps even if they had more safety equipment then anything else she took her spotters car and retooled it, replacing its spotting scope with a summator nailgun, and replacing its radar dish with the regulation harpoon gun, now she is a known point man that many teams want do to her ability to knock the ball away from almost anyone.

Steel strategy: it is an offense build, designed to keep the ball away from the other team, using its nailgun to keep constant pressure and when needed putting a full blast into an opposition car to knock them out of the way of the ball. The build is the only one on the team that shows its steppenwolves origin but it works and does its job. Even if her commander begs the driver to put a spike one on like all other offense cars.

Bull (not on Exhibition)

n8fHMSi.jpg

Car position: Defense

Equipment: 2 sledgehammers and a regulation harpoon.

Driver: Daniel "The bull" Hardfield, Not much is known about the bull as well he is mute. Those that can speak sign language would get is full life story but for the rest well they have to deal with grunts and the ocasional face palm. Daniel is the main loader of The dragons when running artillery but when they are on the field of the steel championship he is their main defensive player. When not on the field or battle or sport he is the man making the moonshine, in fact the fuel barrel he keeps on his sporting car isn't even filled with fuel nor  has it ever that thing has hard moonshine and the good stuff at that.

Steel strategy: the shotguns lack the impulse of the other weapons used, but they do allow one to stop the ball in its tracks slowing the movement and acting defensively either to allow an ally to harpoon the ball or stopping the enemy from shooting a goal. This vehicle has no offensive ability, and it is how the driver loves it.

Stunner (not in exhibition)

ChnMt0G.jpg

Car position: offense

Equipment: 1 EMP loaded Pyre, 2 thrusters, and a regulation harpoon gun.

Driver: Serra "Eagle eye" Tomson, one of the few spotters Third artillery crew, Serra yearns for the sports life, loving the back and forth of the show seeing the cars get mangled the people cheer and the life in the situation. Like her friend and ally Tracy, Serra took her own scout car out. where tracy uses a good engine for speed Serra uses two jump jets to boost into the competition, that combined with her custom EMP pyre which barely got approved she is a threat on the field able to lock on and stun the oposition for a few seconds while stealing the ball.

Steel Strategy: Armed with an EMP loaded Pyre that has a 15 second reload time, The emp Disables steering and all weapons for 3 seconds (causes the hook to disconnect from the ball. Making it a highly valuable tool for disrupting the enemy. Though having this comes at the cost of all other offensive options.

Counter: be faster then the missile.

That Point Man looks pretty clever ride.

And i really dig that they all share some similarities, more than just paint jobs.Thats what clan rides should do to. Look like theyre same team.

Ended up updating the point man, it is now my clash build as it was in my opinion the best one. Added a kapkan to it though and did some minor improvements to the looks, mostly by adding some decals.

Edit: ended upuptading the build again, better thrusters, and some minor armor changes to looks to the underside and rear.
