Welcome all to the update 0.11.40 “Doomsday cars”! Join the new season and complete special challenges to get the cabins of legendary rarity and other unique parts from our new heroes!

In-game event “Doomsday cars”

Attention! The event will last until August 30!

  • There are 75 levels in the event. Raising the level of the event can unlock new rewards.
  • A further increase in levels (76 and above) does not bring rewards.
  • All players without exception (both with and without a paid Battle Pass) can unlock:
    • Structural parts.
    • Recipes for crafting guns/cabins.
    • A logo for the banner that displays your current level in the event.
  • Players who have acquired a Battle Pass may receive the following additional rewards:
    • Crafted parts. Please note that such parts are already issued with certain upgrades and cannot be sold/bought on the market.
    • In-game coins.
    • 3 portraits.
    • Cosmetic items: paints, stickers, decor, banners and logos for personalizing the banner, CK, hologram.
  • Rewards marked with a lock icon are only available in the Battle Pass.
  • When the event ends, the player will have access to all recipes and structural parts that he managed to unlock.
  • All locked parts (except for structural parts) can be purchased on the in-game market from other players.
  • When the event ends, all locked part recipes will be unavailable.
  • Structural parts can be unlocked sometime after the event.

Event Level Up

  • You can learn more about the levels and rewards for them in the game or in this special news item.
  • You can increase your level in the event by completing special daily and weekly challenges.
  • At the end of the day, all outstanding daily challenges are reset and replaced with new ones.
  • At the end of the week, all outstanding weekly challenges are carried over to the next week. New weekly challenges will unlock automatically as you complete these challenges from last week.
  • Weekly challenges are divided into two groups: Weekly Challenges and Additional Weekly Challenges.
  • Please note that it is realistic to get the maximum level by completing only daily challenges and “Weekly challenges”. Completing “Additional Weekly Challenges” will help you increase your level even faster.
  • Try not to miss challenges to open all available rewards as soon as possible.
  • When the event level is increased, the reward is issued automatically.
  • Seasonal challenges do not replace regular daily and weekly challenges. You can still finish them and save resources.

Dawn's Children cabin “Nova”

  • Perk: “Creates a protective field from the front, absorbing any damage from fast-flying objects and energy streams for 3 sec. Cooldown —20 seconds (6 sec. if the field is destroyed).”

Steppenwolf cabin “Cohort”

  • Maximum cabin speed: 60 km/h.
  • Tonnage: 9200 kg.
  • Maximum weight: 24000 kg.
  • Gives energy: 11 units.
  • Durability: 609 pts.
  • Mass: 5200 kg.
  • Perk: “On activation, gives the cabin 30% damage resistance for 10 sec. Cooldown 25 sec. If there are allies in the line-of-sight nearby, launches up to 3 drones that also increase their resistance depending on the type of cabin. Light and medium — 10%, heavy — 30%”.

Weapons

Missile “Pyralid”

  • Rarity: special.
  • PS: 760.
  • Ammunition: 14 volleys.
  • Durability: 69 pts.
  • Power consumption: 4 pts.
  • Mass: 98 kg.
  • Perk: “If both missiles from the salvo hit the target, increases the explosion radius of the next salvo by 12% for 5 sec”.

Laser shotgun “Gravastar”

  • Rarity: epic.
  • PS: 1100.
  • Durability: 196 pts.
  • Power consumption: 4 pts.
  • Mass: 306 kg.
  • Perk: “When the weapon overheats, the first shot will heat the parts when hit. During this time, the shotgun itself also heats up. The effect is reset after the shot.”

Autocannon “Whirl”

  • Rarity: epic.
  • PS: 1100.
  • Durability: 415 pts.
  • Power consumption: 4 pts.
  • Mass: 729 kg.
  • Perk: “If there are 2 or more enemies within a radius of 65 m, autocannon damage increases by 30%”

In addition, as you increase your level in the event, you will unlock various structural parts and cosmetic items: paints, decor, hologram, backgrounds and logos for the banner and stickers*.

*cosmetic items can only be unlocked with the Battle Pass purchased.

“Battle Pass” (Deluxe Edition) pack

  • Upon purchasing this pack, the player gains 15 levels to his current progress in the event. All additional battle pass rewards for already received levels are automatically made available and issued to the warehouse.
  • Provides access to additional rewards: crafted and upgraded parts, decor, paint, backgrounds for personalizing the banner, CK and coins.
  • The pack can be purchased only once.

“Battle Pass” pack

  • Provides access to additional rewards: crafted and upgraded parts, decor, paint, backgrounds for personalizing the banner, CK and coins.
  • Upon purchasing this pack, the player gains 1 level to his current progress in the event. All additional battle pass rewards for already received levels are automatically made available and issued to the warehouse.
  • The pack can be purchased only once.

New standard garage “New Dawn”

Survivors! Many of you know that June has two significant events for Crossout: the start of alpha testing and the transition of the game to the open beta testing stage. It's kind of like a “birthday month” for the game :) And we also know that the vast majority of players spend a lot of time in the garage and test drive, assembling and testing new cars.

Therefore, as a pleasant bonus, we give you a completely new garage, which replaces the old one! It is available to everyone without exception — go to the game and explore the surroundings.

Updated Power Plant Map

Today, the powerplant is a remnant of the glory of Knight riders, the knechte. After a crushing defeat in the Battle against Ravens, the remnants of Martin's army fled and settled in this area. Broken and desperate, they found a last refuge here and hope to preserve the fragile fragments of their culture.

They lost their leader and together with him — the purest dream of the promised land. Having settled down at the station, near which, according to rumours, Martin was born, the Knechte inconsolably mourn for the talented leader, who died prematurely. And they deify him more and more every day…

General

  • Added raiders of the “Firestarters” faction.
  • Added new patches and trials related to new raiders.
  • We plan that new patches, trials and raiders will become available since June 8.


“Hit and run!” and “Last convoy”

All difficulty levels:

  • Increased truck durability.
  • Reduced the number of raiders attacking players.

Data theft

All difficulty levels:

  • Increased the number of raiders attacking players at the second tower.
  • One of the raiders with melee weapons was replaced by a raider with firearms.

Now the following upgrades are correctly displayed in the part parameters:

  • Reducing the spread of weapons increases the displayed accuracy parameter.
  • Increasing cabin power increases the displayed power parameter.

Structural parts

Bumper “Defensive perimeter”

  • PS increased from 31 to 42.
  • Durability reduced from 156 to 133 pts.
  • Mass reduced from 336 to 288 kg.

Bumper “Sentry line”

  • PS increased from 35 to 39.
  • Durability reduced from 178 to 122 pts.
  • Mass reduced from 384 to 264 kg.

Bumper “Defence line”

  • PS increased from 26 to 28.
  • Durability reduced from 134 to 89 pts.
  • Mass reduced from 288 to 192 kg.

Pipetooth

  • PS increased from 14 to 19.
  • Durability increased from 32 to 44.
  • Weight increased from 38 to 53 kg.

Hatchet

  • PS reduced from 24 to 12.
  • Durability reduced from 40 to 31 pts.
  • Mass reduced from 60 to 42 kg.
  • The part no longer lets damage through.

BladeWing

  • PS increased from 12 to 17.
  • Durability increased from 20 to 28 pts.
  • Weight increased from 30 to 43 kg.

Twin BladeWing

  • PS increased from 24 to 34.
  • Durability increased from 40 to 56 pts.
  • Mass increased from 60 to 86 kg.

Tracks

Small track

  • Tonnage bonus increased from +835 to +935 kg.
  • Power penalty reduced from -15% to -12%.
  • Turn radius reduced.
  • Enhanced lateral grip (the higher this parameter, the drift of the craft in turns).
  • PS increased from 150 to 230.
  • Mass increased from 185 to 285 kg. This edit will allow you to change the centre of mass of the car with small tracks, and it will be less frequently turned over.

Hardened track

  • Tonnage bonus increased from +1750 to +1850 kg.
  • Maximum speed increased from 70 to 75 km/h.
  • Turn radius reduced.
  • Enhanced lateral grip.
  • PS increased from 225 to 300.

Armoured track

  • Power penalty reduced from -50% to -40%.
  • Maximum speed increased from 50 to 60 km/h.
  • Tonnage bonus increased from +3600 to +3800 kg.
  • Turn radius reduced.
  • Enhanced lateral grip.
  • PS increased from 360 to 550.

We would like to add that after the changes these chassis became more convenient and efficient, but at the same time, the requirements for the crafts using them have also increased. Now the location of the car's centre of mass is extremely important.

Wheels

  • Improved surface grip for all wheels of “special” rarity.
  • Improved surface grip while drifting for wheels “Bigfoot”.
  • Increased speed at which the car with the wheels “Bigfoot” begins to drift.

We have heard your wishes to improve the wheels and agree with the idea that the rarity of the wheels should affect not only the usual parameters (weight, tonnage) but also such important things as grip. Now the convenience of using certain wheels better corresponds to their rarity.

Engineer badge exchange

Developer comment: We believe that the past system of exchanging badges for resources is outdated. This applies both to established exchange rates and to the lack of rotation of goods. Instead of simply reducing/increasing the number of certain resources received for badges, we decided to diversify the exchange process itself.

Changes include:

  • The appearance of new products in the store.
  • Ability to unlock structural parts of the “Founders” faction and, in the future, structural parts from other events for Engineer badges.
  • You cannot unlock additional structural parts beyond what was available during the event.
  • Weekly changes in the stock of the exchanger (some goods and resources may appear and disappear next week).
  • Goods and resources do not disappear permanently and may return during a subsequent weekly exchange update.
  • Special offers for the exchange of certain resources: each week, the number of resources received during the exchange may change along with the cost in badges. Watch for updates in the exchanger and do not miss the most profitable exchange rate!

Please note once again that the number of resources/icons required to exchange for resources may change every week. Watch the course and do not miss the opportunity to exchange badges profitably!

  • The technology tree functionality has been improved:
    • Now, when you click on a part in the “technology tree”, you will see a window with information about the required resources and parts for its crafting, time and cost of production. Also from this window, you can start the crafting process, go to the workbench that crafts this part or buy a part on the market at a specified price
    • In the window, you can view the entire cycle of its production, starting with the parts of the “common” rarity. To do this, click on any part of “lower” rarity, from which the selected part is made.
    • Now, using the “filters” button, you can sort the parts by how they are received. When using the filter, only those parts that can be obtained in the way you choose will remain highlighted.
    • You can now sort the parts in the Technology Tree by their factional affiliation.
  • Now, if your purchase/sale price is significantly higher/lower than the average market price, you will be warned accordingly.
  • Changed the display of the weight limit in the window with information about the car.
  • Added the ability to report a violation from the personal file window of the viewed player and from the transaction history window on the market.
  • In clan battles, a notification has been added for cases where teams draw and the time allotted for the second round ends during the capture of the base.
  • Improved display of in-game hints.

  • Voice chat in the game is disabled.

Developer comment: “Unfortunately, at this stage, we can no longer store all voice chat data and prefer to use the available power for other key aspects of the game. We understand that some players actively used voice chat for cooperation and fast communication without third-party applications, but according to our data, the proportion of such players was significantly lower than those who prefer to use special applications. We will keep you informed of any possible changes to this decision.”

  • Now, when manufacturing a part, the rental fee for the workbench (also known as the production cost) is deducted automatically when you click the “Craft” button. The cost of crafting is indicated in the part card.
    • The cost indicated in the card is the cost of crafting of one part. In order to craft another similar part, the same cost will have to be paid again.
    • The rental of workbenches paid for before the update is still available.
  • Now the received coupons for free workbench rental are activated automatically when you are going to craft a part:
    • First, available coupons for specific workbenches are activated in turn if they are suitable for starting the production of the selected part.
    • Then, universal coupons for workbenches of a certain rarity are activated in turn.
  • Added new cars for characters who come to visit you if the cars of friends can not come for some reason.
  • Now to pass the trial “Lunatic destroyer: Expert” only 3 patches “Sansara” are required (instead of 15 before the update).
  • The faction blueprint “Schism” (“Steppenwolfs”) is improved.

Small update, 05.06.2020

  • Fixed an issues where it was impossible to use an already rented workbench without an extra charge.
  • Fixed an issues where the production cost on legendary workbenches was 15 coins (now — 75 coins).
  • Now, when unlocking the next recipe in a season, a button appears in the event interface that takes you to the workbench with this recipe.
  • The lighting in the “New Dawn” garage has been improved.
  • Improved appearance of some environment objects in the “New Dawn” garage.
  • Improved appearance of several patches.
  • Updated various texts and descriptions.

At first happy birthday crossout, the new stuff we get looks awesome, one question for the engineer  patches are the structural parts an Addition or are the resources gone?

Draco_Night, hello! It depends on the parts that you already have. You cannot unlock additional structural parts beyond what was available during a certain event.

Nice update in general, got a lot to grind!.

I'm not strictly against the PS increase of the tracks, as I have tested then on the PT and the reinforced/ armored could become one of the best performing movement parts besides hover on low PS, making them the new sealclubber's best friend.

 

But why the bumper durability nerf? They are heavy parts used to protect the important areas of the vehicle; now most of them are't even able to tank a single cannon shot, let's not speak about crickets or shotgun fire from close up...

Velaryon1007, hello! All of the balance changes are made in accordance with the in-game settings within various PS tiers. These changes have a direct effect on gameplay, which is why the changes to some elements may affect others.

i agree, the bumper nerf wasnt needed, nor is it logical

Okay so you've made some messed up mechanics with the tracks "buffs." 

It used to be, when turning, speed was shown as increasing by about 5 kph when making a hard turn using any of the tracks.

Now, small tracks slow down from 90 dramatically if you do ANY turning at all and slow to about 39 kph if you do circles. The same applies to more than four hardened tracks (using six will slow you down fast when turning.) If you use only four hardened, or two armoured, tracks then  the speed goes up about 5-6 kph and do not slow down. 

Please, please, please tell me this is NOT working as intended....

PriorityOne, thank you for sharing this feedback with us! At the moment we are studying the players' feedback and your info may be very valuable. Does this situation happen with the builds that have different cabins, modules, etc?

New structural parts looks very nice. The weapons and cabins... meh. The contra-contra-cloak is... confusing concept.

I will miss the hills and canyons of the old garage.

Augers also really need some improvement now. Some melee resistance and lowered power drain could make them much more viable.

Did the change to the grip remain the same as it was on the test server? If yes, then I'm gonna have to shed some tears for drifting on special wheels, those really felt like glued to the ground on the TS. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but the difference between rares and specials was really huge on the TS. Can we perhaps get some extra durability for rare wheels? I'd like to drift a little in battles, but on some wheels that don't fall apart when somebody sneezes on them. Or perhaps new special wheels with reduced grip?

Where are the weapon balances, changes ? In an open-testserver there was a lot of gun stat changes when will you implement those ?

great update overall, lots of new parts.

Interested to see the effect on the market due to changes to crafting costs and engineer badges, 15C for legendaries! thats 10 times cheaper than before.

Was the reduced cabin mass perk bug fixed? Don't see it in the notes and it's been months...it effects almost all my builds, and even one of the season pass cabs had that perk on the promo server. Looking forward to new structure parts and decor. Hoping something can also be done about forward facing Mandrakes who can drive 60km and kill or disable anyone in 1-shot.

Griffon cab is to overpowerd.

you will see more and more dogs/melee players,  4 people with this cab is way to abusive, it would be infinite cloak at all times....

there would be no need for dopler/oculus/vertifier anymore in clan wars.

this should be fixed so if you been affected by the Griffon cab, you have a 30sec cooldown before it can be applied again

 

and please remove the gawd awefull eyesore color in crafting menu, or atleast let us disable it in menus

please bring back the old garage, so not just old players but all and specially new players have a choice to choose what garage one want to use, more to choose from for new players, the greater chance they will stay and play this game, its a win-win.

Sasherz, hello and thank you for sharing your thoughts on this update. We don't have plans to remove the updated garage, but it will very likely receive additional improvements in the future updates.

The results are the same for the following cabins: Torero, Harpy, Photon, Favorite, and Humpback. Weapons included an assortment or machine guns, goblins, auroras, canons, autocanons, caucasus, wasps, pyres, and king mines. Modules include coolers, radiators, engine and radar detectors. So it appears to be dependent only on the tracks, and how many tracks, are equipped on the vehicle. I've submitted a bug report.

As a side note, the increase in PS on small tracks is especially excessive.

Make changes in horizontal mandrake's mechanics so when the frame is tilted by movement parts the mandrake stops working.

Im not talking about removing the new garage, just have the NEW AND OLD garage not just one or the other but BOTH! to choose from

for new and veteran players that doenst want to use money on this game, and have choices, it would be awesome
