I've been called Cannon Sausage/Banana before too. Maybe its more because of your overall shape than anything else.

"Steamroll"?

"Post your steamroll"

"if you just steamroll"

Steamroll is when you obliterates competition one after another. Basically when you becomes an unstoppable force behind the wheel.

Think about an actual steamroll straighting out asphalt: its heavy, it flattens everything on its way and once it starts moving it can't be stopped by weaker things.

When they say "post your steamroll" they are basically asking for a proof of a winning streak (ingame history tab full of won rounds).

Well dang, i would have posted mine if the thread starter back then would have explained this, or spoken more clearly instead of "post your steamroll".

Hey, thanks, this makes sense now.

That's pretty good m8, but you might wanna add a wedge as 90 percent of wheeled builds have wedges on them, looking like a nice build tho, props.:014:

You slaughtered me again  today man,by the way, by the shipwrecks, didnt ya.

Yeah, that build was just an attempt to build a no nonsense firedog with just the bare essentials to call it as one, so it would remain only as a firefog by definition instead of a wedge.

"own"  "Pwn"

Humiliate.  Pwn is just a leetspeak (That's elite speak) for own.  Also, might as well get 1337 out of the way, that's leet speak for elite.  I know it's silly.

Quote

"Gaslight"

This isn't a gamer term, it's a psychological technique of brainwashing, and emotional abuse typically used by malignant narcissists on their wives, so that they doubt their own sanity.  From the play "Gas Light"by Patrick Hamilton.

Basically, telling them that they're insane, nobody will believe them, they remembered wrong, or even hallucinated it.  So, they can't leave the co-dependent abuser.  (The abusers need the victims to support their worldviews.)

Quote

"Macros"

Either a programmable controller, or a script used to automatically input commands to the game.  The controllers could be set up to spam the attack button faster, than a human thumb, in old games, where they wasn't a delay built in, or the optimal sequence timed for DPS.  (With animation cancellation, and a rotation of spells in an MMO)

Also, an excuse used by whiners with no evidence of Macro use.  I got accused of that back when I was using Prometes because obviously, nobody could possibly learn that firing pattern, and just time it while driving.  (It only took a couple hours.)

I don't know where "rekt" comes from. I assumed it was a "leet" way of writing "wrecked".

Leet i.e. 1337 = short for "elite" used as adjective usually.

Also, can we make that term "lemonade build" a thing? It describes so perfectly those people that throw anything they have acquired randomly into a single car.

None of those actually mean anything.  The way they use it, I mean NPC means Non-Player Character in game terms.  Basically your Co-Drivers would be NPCs, if they had any character to them.

The rest is basically an EZ win button in internet arguments.

Shorthand for "Your argument is Invalid."

I like to see someone is paying attention to my posts

Those are mainly political terms nowadays:

  • SJW -> Social Justice Warrior: derogatory term refered to activists with skewed socialistic agendas that uses normal everyday events to push their ideals too harshly on others.

Example: when people complains that a movie or a TV series don't have a diverse cast

  • Simp -> a guy that is overly desperate for women in a way that he might do anything for her in the hopes that she might pay somekind of attetion to him.

Example: when men keep giving money to over sexualized female streamers to "buy their affection"

  • Chad -> derogatory term for the ideal male men think women want. Usually a scape goat used by flawed men that think too high of themselves to justify when women don't want to get with them.

Example: the school jock stereotype.

  • Libtard -> derogatory term to refer to left leaning people that have liberal views.

Example: anyone on the left when people on the right try to offend them.

  • NPC -> Non Playable Character. In games it refers to A.I. controled characters, in politics it refers to people who cannot think for themselves and often repeats other's ideals without questioning.

Example: that teacher's pet that embraces his/her teacher's political views without question.

  • Cringe -> when you testify/do something so shameful and/or awkward that YOU start feeling that awful and curling gut feeling of uneasiness.

Examples: if you were at a store and tried on a coat only to discover it was another client's coat. When someone is picking their nose thinking they are alone and then you 2 lock eyes.

But really those aren't Crossout terms, more like internet memes/slangs.

I received the n00b abuse yesterday after killing someone, weird since I've been playing nearly daily since July 2017. Next time I killed him I got called skill less, not sure what goes through people's heads when they throw the insults out.

They just think "let me throw out an insult".

Must be some form of vengence or catharsis in their minds.

Ironically.  It has to be said that when it's used that way, they don't literally mean "Social Justice Warrior," or "Activist."  It's just longhand for Activists, as if that's a bad thing, but Operation Rescue weren't "SJWs."  Of course.  WBC aren't "SJWs."

Supergirl.  She gets called an "SJW," or "Social Justice BS."  Superman?  Is never called that, ironically.  Because he's a superhero, a founding member of the Justice Society of America, and in his own words, "A big fan of Justice."

Incels going on shooting spree for attention aren't called "Social justice Warriors" despit the fact that the BAU Profile for that sort of mass murderer is an "Injustice Collector," and they stockpile weapons.

Karen.  Wanting to speak to your manager when the cashier looks at her daughter in a way that makes her uncomfortable?  That's "SJWBS."  A movement to report sexual harassment, or Black Lives protesting the execution of their young men in the streets by police.  That's "SJWBS."

If it's part of the "Liberal Agenda" according to Fox News, it's used ironically.  You know, all that civil rights, and stuff, we dealt with in the 60s.  If it's religious zealots, assassinating doctors, and bombing hospitals with the war cry "Life is Precious!"
