So the stream is over, here's a quick rundown:

  • Rotating RL is 6 energy with only 200HP, rockets fly in a spiral, can only shoot after loading all 3 barrels (shame)
  • New "Welding Strength" module isn't actually Welding Strength per se, there will be more modules like this and this one just happens to give a 30% damage resistance to anything connected to at least one of the module's special welding points called 'Power Nodes'. That includes even the cabin Weapons, Modules, structure parts and bumpers. The module costs only 1 point of energy. EDIT: Just saw a video by BlackHat from the PR Test Server and the module doesn't work on the cabin there. That is good news tbqh.
  • New Legendary light cab, also comes with power nodes and a special perk you can activate to heat the cabin up for a few seconds, but after that the Power Nodes will repair anything still attached to them. The description isn't entirely clear, but it seems that you activate the heatup and then deactivate it manually and each part attached to the cabin will get repaired by 10% for each second that the cabin heat perk has been activated. We must wait and see how it will actually work in the game,
  • The new Relic shotgun is called Jormungandr, 4 energy and works like the Nidhogg, but fires shots that heat up the target, provided the first shot hits at least half of the pellets, after that you keep shooting fiery shots as long as you don't miss.
  • Rest of the season pass seems pretty bland, lots of returning blueprints from previous seasons. It seems that the legendary blueprints from PREVIOUS seasons like one for the Nova cabin will become unavailable after this season ends, but I'm not sure.

So a resistance fused Bastion cab can have 90% resistance with the module? That is completely broken on PlayStation where it is probably the most used cab in high-tier clan wars. They already take way too long to kill, the plow resistance needs to be nerfed to 15-20%. which it should of been to begin with. And now 60% for Cohort, that will need balanced too. Dont change it on PC if not used there, but on PlayStation there are Bastions and Cohorts everywhere.

When they talked about this module, I was hoping that they would separate the items from the mechanics ... they disappoint me devs, we wanted something specific, not a module that further increases the gap between rich and poor ... Why the title of the season is "SACRED MOTORS"? Are there new engines? That title is very misleading ... At least we have an interesting brawl ... but it hurts me that they put the welding mechanics aside.

So it looks like the weapons we are receiving with this Battle Pass are NOT pre-upgraded and we don't have recipes for upgraded versions? Is that accurate? If that's the case, I don't see a reason to purchase this Battle Pass.

*EDIT* So in the livestream it didn't look like they provided upgraded versions but in the now live version they are. So that's something at least.

Even if the new part *did* affect cabins, damage resistance is not calculated the way you think. (It's not additive)

When a part gains 10% resistance, it multiplies incoming damage by 0.9... so Bastion's plow (50% resist) with the cabin upgrade (10% resist) receives 0.5 × 0.9 = 0.45 of incoming damage. (This is a 55% net resistance)

If another source gives 30% more resist, the upgraded Bastion plow then receives 0.315 of incoming damage. (That would be 78.5% net resistance)

<As for Bastion strength on PlayStation, the plow is probably more effective on consoles than PC due to controller aim assist>

I feel like the truck side part was awarded wrongly since the concept art hinted us that at least 4 should be used to make an entire truck bed.

Besides, why only 2 of something that could have so much potential?

See? We got 2 truck beds worth of back panels but side panels not enough to make even a single truck bed...
