Grind or pay, the Crossout way!
You donât need either of those things. Perfect the weapon systems you currently have until youâve unlocked the trials and patches banners.
Itâs 30.00-ish per 100, last I checked. Compare that to scrap (2.30 per 100) and copper (2.60), itâs a pretty good source of coin on PC
grinding fuel doesnât pay off, adding a bomb to your build will only increase the changes of not getting that fuel, and thereâs a catch, the fuel tank must survive to get that fuel or is something like that.
Donât use repair kits on raids, try to manage your performance so you reach the "finish line "
If you want to build
Lately iâm building special parts, quantity over quality, and some epic parts doesnât pay off, you will spend more ( resources) than the coins you will be gettingâŚand you have to wait 4 hours for a epic part vs 1 hour for a special.
Slowly but surely.
Test drive whatever builds you are interested in first, to focus your effort in going after what clicks with you, and not wasting time and resources going after things you end up not liking or for whatever reason doesnât go with you.
Donât spend any extra coins you may have laying around
their is a way for insane coin making with the market but im not gonna talk bout it cuz i dont condone it nd its not something you will see from any crossout content creator cuz they dont know bout it nd no it has nothing to do with hacking but its something that is implemented in the game tho
its actually two ways. YOU must survive AND the fuel tanks must survive to. even if you win but you dont survive you wont get the fuel. if you win but your tanks had been shot off or exploded off then you wont get the fuel either. so you HAVE to win, survive AND have the fuel tanks in tact.
Actually, this whole fuel tank thing is bullsh!tâŚhaving to survive and keep the fuel tank(s) undamaged. Talk about a grind. Instead, they should let you keep a portion of the fuel from the easy raid where you steal the fuel truck; maybe 25 gallons to make it worthwhile. People would be clamoring to do that raid like nothing before.
As i said it doesnât pay off.
I just donât understand all those builds that carry an exposed fuel tank at the back outside of the build, yeah sure, to the build not be caught in the blast radius but whatâs the point if the tank is destroyed?
for some people they use it as an anti melee thing. if a melee build hits it from behind then they take alot of damage depending how many explosives they hit. i seen people carry ammo packs in the back in the open to.
it sactifices the fuel barrel / ammo but⌠idk i guess some people just want to punish some melee builds for trying to be to greedy?
idk if ammo crates or anything even do much to some melee weapons.
yeah i dont like this mechanic either. if you got fuel for a win regardless if you destroyed the fuel barrel or not that would be good. heck even getting something for losing would be fine. 5 fuel for a loss would be fine as you get 15 per win anyways if you run both.
IIt makes sense, but⌠whatâs wrong with plows ?
im unsure⌠i never used explosives as armor myself. but i think they do it to punish dog builds or melee builds. as for why they dont use plows idk, maybe they just prefer punishing them over a simple plow?
Plows or any other high durability part with resistance are just a shield, a retardant need for the weapons in hand to do the killing, they buy you time.
If i do it with drones, any other weapon will do.
Melee builds deny time for others.
If blast damage of gens donât stop them⌠i doubt similar exploding bits will.
Unless, those tanks fulfil another function.
Being a deterrent and in the change they get at the end to have some fuel.
.but the gains must be marginal
im not sure. i know people used to use expanded ammo packs as armor before cause of their durability. as for fuel barrels i have no idea why. im sure they are the most effective in lower powerscore though where they can do damage to parts that dont have a whole lot of durability, but as for high ps? im unsure.
plows are shields as you said and fuel barrels are not. i just wish that fuel barrels had more of a purpose other then âsurvive and have your barrels survive to get fuelâ cause its really dumb.
Itâs not dumb, itâs just making it harder for us .
Personally, as is, i see those tanks as a liability not a bonus, i take a pass and i canât recommend
do daily and weekly challenges and get badges then trade for purple item box every 3k badges, sell it or open it and you could sell the item inside, worth 250 or so coins. every couple weeks you get a few coins, meanwhile the scrap and copper etc can be sold once in a while for another few hundred.
do clam wars and earn uraniouses you can sell 10 uraniouses for 600 or more.
it turns out i had 3000 things of plastic sticking around. now im rich.
this is really terrible advice, PLEASE dont do this.
you get far more money for getting plastic on the badge shop and selling those then you do with epics in a crate. hell i bet even scrap would get you more money then a epic in a crate would.
imo save your badges for something you want as opposed to just spending every single one and selling everything. battlepasses are frequent in crossout and you may see an item you want in there, having the badges to make them is really helpful.
hell i have something like 15k badges and im not using them on crates. id rather save them for making things.
