rofl…you asked a question, and i answered it (if you don’t like my answer…not my problem )
it’s called using “experience and objective thinking” so i don’t need to use them to know they’re worse off now then what they were before…
why do y’all keep using ammo as “a shield to justify yourselves”?
you keep on going about sgs and mgs, when that part of the update didn’t affect them nearly as much as other weapons…even though the devs did say that that was in part their aim w this update…sooo…
so what is even your argument? did you ever run out of ammo? the game seems to be balanced better than before, which is great but on the other hand i can no longer use hitscan to carry braindead teams so it became worse in that regard.
i also pretty much stopped playing completely, but for the reason that i just stated, and the update is a step in the right direction. now i think they should focus on giving us something to actually play
They added a lot of stuff over the last year and it has a lot of rough edges that need worked out, but at least it gives me the impression that this game isn’t on it’s way out. It looks like they had a lot planned for this game…and I’m glad it appears they are actually using planning as a development tool. Sometimes I wonder.
I hope next year is more stable than this last one, and that the updates will be more superficial and focused on the nuances of this game (minor balance tweaks), rather than reinventing entire game mechanics like they have been. That shit’s harsh, and upsetting. They should award us survivors with a proper holiday hug this Christmas (free stuff) for enduring it. I like their stickers, but the pain calls for more than a bandaid, IMO.
They made a lot of positive ground this year, but is was tumultuous, objectively. Even though I’m a die-hard Mad Max fan…
…that stuff’s pretty cool, IMO. I like my airship too, and along with some others, had been asking for that for a while, and now we have it…creepy spiders too. I very well remember asking for that too, in legs as wells as the drones.
They worked their asses off this year to bring us a lot of new features. Now, like you said, if they’d just give us something to do with all this stuff, improve balance, etc…
Taking a break isn’t always a bad idea. The way this game is, if you don’t like it, just wait a couple months and it’ll be different. That’s about the only thing that’s been consistent for a very long time.
well, i did leave the game once before…a little after they introduced the brotherhood…the reason being i found the grind atrocious…
i returned a little before the bigass flying ship was removed from my backyard…and i really liked the fact that the grind was waay easier…
so i’m just gonna see how things go for now and watch from the sideline for a bit…also got the early access invite for PoE2 so i’ll be there for a bit…
From what I’ve seen in matches, it’s mostly AC and minigun players running out of ammo towards the end of matches, which seems deliberate.
Those were the weapons that seemed to be dominating CC for a while, and were making matches a bit boring.
Group up, and spray all incoming paths with bullet spam until you hit someone. It was effective, but repetitive.
Still seeing Cyclones and some miniguns in CC, but it’s much more mixed than it was.
