Hammerfall perk is just like Aegis: okay-ish on its own, broken if minmaxed, and minmaxing it is much easier than minmaxing other things. Only Aegis is S+ tier while Hammerfall perk falls in the realm of being balanced, minmax it or not.
I’m tired of people being “oh, this thing can’t compete with 10 guns. It has to be buffed. No, we don’t need to nerf 10 guns out of 180, let’s just buff the balanced ones”. This is INFURIATING.
Like, things like crickets, lucifers and gungnirs are being buffed.
And as someone who has them…
Spoiler
no, they shouldn’t be buffed. Actually, all 3 of them are laying on marginally above balanced and should be nerfed…
I can understand Cricket, but Gungnir is literally “gun get worse for no benefit”, due to its already low spread and should receive a diet perk of Nothung; while the most urgent buff of Lucifer would be clip count: 5 is a pathetically low number as it would hinder Lucifer from synergizing with Manitou, a cabin that exist to benefit Revolvers.
It’s a situational gun. Really strong against torpedos, anything on fin whale + omamori, tritons etc.
Also it can chew through frames so it’s also pretty good against normal builds that don’t rely on DMR. Wouldn’t say that it needs a +10% damage buff, but yeah, it’s perk is ASS that actually makes the gun worse.
First, it needs -15% damage and +20% projectile speed. Its outright broken (3-4k burst damage per clip) but only on shotgun distance. It’s literally a shotgun lol, you wouldn’t hit anything on more than 70m
Also gust, please, stop trying to synergize by using specialist cabs, the amount of people still using Blight with Incis / flamethrowers kills me. The balancing in this game is cheeks. For literally 95% of playable builds you’ll only need 6 cabs: Inferno, Deadman, Dolores, Humpack, Satori and Photon. That’s all
you don’t have to do that, not reliably, stay unpredictable, in distance and direction, and if you can wedge just a bit to stay below his guns depression better yet but that’s optional.
circling reliably the opponent will put you in the line of fire once every 360º degrees, with a light cabin will be easier to change direction before the 360º point and stay ahead in relation of his transverse speed.
that alone will be enough, the perk will be just a bonus.
But before, both of you better train against bots before that duel.
This will remove the player dependent factor, bots don’t waver and don’t miss and will improve the fog of war factor ( little mistakes) that you ( you as in general you ) can make in stressful situations.
Yeah Agreed, game is really cool for working people relax play after work but it looks MArketing of game more like pvp intermediate age players. My experience is that every game that is focused on PVP eventually ends with one-hit kills, which leads to a large number of campers and bug hunters or cheaters and game after 2-3 years end on this.
a primary weapon that relies on the maps being crammed and the squall indicator sometimes being hard to see combined with its 1mm hitbox and audio that is the same for friendly and enemy projectiles.
it doesnt matter if players are stupid, if there is an issue, it gets fixed. it couldve taken longer to get nerfed, but it probably didnt generate the same rivers of money that other cancers generate
what radical changes, i wouldve never expected to see these items on this list.
the developers should really be appreciated for thinking outside the box, truly a bastion of videogame creativity and innovation
surely they wont release multiple brand new items that will go unchanged for months and become the sole meta at every power score, while generating huge amounts of money from people who didnt get taught how to handle money.
i am forecasting the player count to rise by 300% within 2 years, the quality of new updates only keeps improving. things are looking up
Mini-map that depicts ally Squall bombardment area: am I a joke to you?
The only issue I’ve ever seen about Squall is its optimization (found out when I was trying to replace my current MSI laptop with a Thinkpad due to an unknown short circuit preventing my MSI from using its internal battery), which, is not a game mechanical problem, and nerfing Squall won’t fix its optimization.
I would buff Squall out of pure spite at the room Celsius temparature of average crossout players. Learn to fucking drive or get rekt.
After using the Squall for a while, I noticed when dropping one down in the path of a Bot. The Bot will suddenly change direction far before the firestorm commences making the weapon a totally pointless.
bots r too smart now,( which i dont mind but …)hence y i want my incs to burn faster n harder…
undo the nerf they did too them, bots didnt run back then or avoid anything…( is why they nerfed it )
theres a topic on this somewhere, will post when i find it…
oh look, another defender of this weapon. this weapon shouldve had its powerscore raised not its energy in all fairness. but really this weapon is a seal clubbing weapon that nobody at low ps wants to deal with. you know this, i know this, hell the newbies know this.
retcher bots shouldnt even be a thing in this game. bots have ridiculously broken accuracy and retchers can just delete you in seconds. they need to be removed yesterday.
if you think these are bad look at dino leg players, jumping around like a frog with brain damage so much its really irritating to destroy them…
ummm not true. it also reduces the reload time of drones. it effects both modules and drone reload speeds.
second verse same as the first, look one comment above.
so you want to disable someones rotation speed for 4 seconds? shoot 1 hammerfall and disable it for 2 seconds, then shoot the other right after. nah dude, thats busted.
who runs only ONE hammerfall?
have you ever tried using wheels at 3 - 8k ps? they SUCK.
your mind set is absolutely toxic.
bots do that to literally everything. king mines? they tiptoe around them. kapkans? they stay out of range and shoot at it. jotun / incinerator puddles? nah they will just avoid them, sometimes they drive through them, if hit they will drive out of the puddle. they even drive out of mandrake and porcupine fire to. jubokkos? theyll target them occasionally but often times they avoid them. drones? they insta target drones. yaoguai? dead before they can even target something. vulture? second verse same as the first, dead before they can act. ripper discs? actively avoid them. any kind of drone from an ally cabin? yep those are instantly targeted to. argus? what argus? its gone the moment it pops up.
my thoughts exactly. they also make drones incredibly useless since they get destroyed immediately.
My drones are not useless 1v1 with a bot at 9000 PS. I force the bot to target my vehicle then deploy the turrets around the bot and force the bot to keep targeting my vehicle. My vehicle has many hit points and bumpers to tank the damage.
The problem is useless allies not using the map, leaving me all alone, and enemy allies taaking out my drones and then helping take me out prematurely while none of my allies come to shoot these enemy allies in the back while they are busy shooting my vehicle and my drones.
Some maps, the dual cannon spiders camp enemy base, surrounded them in turrets and keep circling them while they kill one at a time with dual cannons. Or get the capture point while reloading and circle them again until ammo is gone. Drones are not useless against one bot, but yes, they are useless against a swarm of bots, but then so is any vehicle surrounded by four bots.
the canno spiders are relatively easy to delete with drones as they take alot of time to reload, by the time they shoot again youll have another drone ready.
i mean if its something like the yaoguai or sidekicks then yeah. sidekicks move around.
yaoguai are stationary though so you need to be cautious.
anacondas and owls though? LOL good luck!
because most of the weapon PS is tied to its energy consumption??? duh???
it’s not a fool-proof system but at least consistent.
Just fix the bot ai so that the driver always runs on melee mode, and the weapon ai didn’t see past anything beyond their radar range (unless you or your ally brought a radio to transmit), shrimple.
I’ve yet to see any hammerfall mains do that. so far every hammerfall users map them to the same button anyway.
Me, because I don’t have 3 fused hammerfall, so I have to make do by mixing it with 2 thunderbolts at 8.9k PS.
I literally use wheels exclusively.
Wheels themselves are fine, the only problem is they lost traction when you get t-boned, that’s why dogs and melee are so effective against them, due to this stupid game physics engine.
Driving is literally part of the Custom Vehicle combat, or any vehicle combat games. That’s why I hate the addition of “bind-steering to camera”, because they simply remove half of what makes Custom Vehicle combat unique.
frankly, I would say hovers might unironically need a buff IF TARGEM BALLS UP AND NUKE CAM-STEER. But knowing targem, the heat death of this universe will be more possible.
When will the reporting system actually start working? When will in‑game cheating finally be addressed? Auto‑aim software and similar tools are still widely used. Why do we have an anti‑cheat launcher at the start if it doesn’t detect anything? At the very least, can players we report be manually reviewed and banned?
and?
raise the fricken powerscore. its a LEGENDARY WEAPON. it should not have a powerscore low enough to allow people to seal club with. either make it higher powerscore or make it so beginners have a chance when fighting against them or even make it so beginners have a pvp mode they can enter where it doesnt allow weapons like epics and higher tiers. this prevents seal clubbing to a better degree.
yeaaaaaah… cause bots can see you from across the entire map and shoot at you, funnily enough even retchers are like this.
because smart people actually DONT mash forward and have both weapons on one fire button.
so do i… well… minus two of my builds that uses the tank tracks and sleipnirs.
some wheels i tried feel like they are made of wet tissue paper. chained wheels imo are the worst wheel to use. idk any wheel of rare rarity and some of special feel incredibly weak.
i use bigfoots all the time cause they just work for me.
explains why a tengu boosting into me can throw me roughly 100m like i weigh about as much as a paper clip…
from what i remember this means that if your on legs and you turn your camera that also turns your build with it to face the way the camera is looking right?
