Most likely, they want(ed) to expand the game and this was the last major frontier left. Unfortunately, helicopters don’t mix well with people who prefer ground-based builds, who are put at a serious disadvantage (ala the previously-named “next step” missions). Admittingly, I have 10-or-so copter builds, and they’re fun to work with. Except for one I use in PVE, I only use them in bedlam; and since I’d feel guilty using them against people playing ground vehicles, I don’t attack ground builds with them. I really hope they don’t take the next step and add airplanes…aerial vehicles took the game too far away from what it started out as.
money/more players ?
i did love seeing reaper copters from time to time.in the old days
i always use the heli in patrols with 2 incinerators , sometimes getting those ball thingys.
'but be warned when u meet that heli in patrol -it will kill you if its chasing you. lol , its slow but deadly
i agree but the game isnt ready for them. the matchmaking, AI, building system, parts, modules and weapons were all made with the standard ground vehicles in mind.
and then after rotors they decided to add mech legs which have basically the same issues.
for some reason, despite all the advantages these new movements parts have over ground parts, they completely infantilized controls, to the point that an RC car for 4 year olds lets you have more intricate control than you have over a helicopter in crossout.
this shows theyre at least trying to add interesting features, presumably to attract new and old players, but at the same time theyre gigantically out of touch and this series of updates was so unwarranted the game basically died.
and the bigger issue is that even though they are adding all these new features, the existing game is as broken as ever and nothing is being fixed / balanced, power creep is massive and P2W is the only way to play.
all of this is a sad delusional attempt at reviving the game in an incredibly short term way, and even though these features would be great (if the game wasnt shit), they are treated as permanent features and a new integral part of gameplay, while they shouldve stayed parts of small quirky event gamemodes.
m8, patrol isn’t any better in that sense…all you need is 1 high ps player, and you get bots that one shot you with relics instead of a player…
but hey, at least there are new recycled weapons in the new battle pass.
this game is fine, nothing to worry about.
are you actually 1 of the Targem Devlopers posing as a normal player?..if not then i’m baffled by the bs…
Unless the Targem developers do something about the lack of players on this game, they wont get a penny out of me…
4 years ago you used to be able to get into a match within 5 to 10 seconds…
now it can take over 1 min or even 2…
Bad decision making by the developers has caused players to leave in Droves…
Game would be more popular if people knew about the game tbh.
I didn’t see any crossout ads until after i found the game. Sometime in 2019.
That’s my guess anyways. There’s nothing else like crossout soo, if people were aware of it, the game could easily be very popular.
I only heard of the game in early 2021. Was in a World of Tanks forum and people were asking if there was anything better, and someone mentioned Crossout and gave a short summary of it. Tried it and was instantly hooked.
Targem’s problem is retaining players. The arduous grind almost forces you to spend alot of money if you want to advance at any decent pace, and the lack of fellow newer players causes you to face off against seal clubbers, leading to frustration and demoralization. We don’t need more funky weapons, more stickers, or more shades of grey paint; we need a program to attain and sustain new players.
Maybe its in case you wait too long so both side have each level of PS
plenty of people know about crossout, but everyone quit because the game got killed by updates that only got worse and worse.
progression or gameplay quality never improved, and everything else only devolved
I mean the games better than when I started, in certain areas at least.
But i guess your right.
But idk, youtubers doing one sponsored video doesn’t necessarily get people interested.
Like raid shadow legends lol, see ads everywhere but i’m convinced nobody played that $%&( lol.
But the issue might be the early game, because even i quit at the beginning for awhile but came back.
Probably just skill issues tbh but i get seal clubbers are a problem and probably got worse.
I stuck around as a F2P poor peasant, most people who quit could afford passes etc so it’s kinda weird to me.
modules killed this game n new weps needing them…
Aquillo
All i need but far too expensive now.
can’t rly agree with that as radiators and coolers…etc., are themselves modules
with that part i do agree
…saddest part,…the fact it just needs waaay better managing/organising…most of the rest is already in it…to Make Crossout Better Again (
)…or something along those lines…
