Sometimes I feel like when I make a new build that the first few ques I get have easier opponents.

When I make a new build, the first time I hit the queue with it often takes a really long time, like 3 minutes. Then after that it tends to pick up the pace a lot, but that first queue is always hella long.
I also feel like I have better luck when doing the dailies, and after the dailies are done the difficulty ramps up, but IDK about that either. It could just be spooks. I’m certain about the power-score creep, but I don’t know if I’m actually getting soft pitches from the matchmaker for dailies or not. It feels like it, though.
Overall, it just feels like if I play for too long the game gets harder and the rewards get smaller. The result is that the less I play the more fun the game seems to be when I do…that hasn’t been the case lately though. Up until last night I wasn’t having much fun regardless of how little, or what mode I played. It just sucked. I had some fun last night though, but I didn’t play too long.
I suspect that the players who get really mad and come here to unload on the forum real big and fiery have been marathon playing the game. Players who like the game the most, and are happy with it, are probably the ones who are the most responsible about how much time they waste playing…just a theory.
I mentioned something like this elsewhere. I have a sub 10K build with four sledgehammers. Easily 2/3 of the matches, I am the lightest by 2 and sometimes 4k.
I went hunting for a match in it, and this was the result of the very first match I got into.
I mean, it’s not HORRIBLE, and I’m not super hyper expert gamer dood, but I do very well with this build. I am constantly tweaking it for best performance. Still, if I’m going to be fighting dudes with 15k builds, it’d be nice to have a 15 k build. LOL

I actually find my best winning streaks (or at least high scoring streaks) usually happen after I’ve been playing for a couple hours and feel really locked in to my vehicle.
But sometimes the first five matches of the day are the easy ones.
