it means you can use less modules on it and get the same amount of use out of it as before when it had to use more modules.
lets say the arbiter for example, you need 2 radiators and 2 coolers to cool it and make it fire longer. well if they reduce the cooldown rate on the gun they are basically making it so you dont need as many coolers. so thats 1 less cooler you can use for another module like a doppler or something else. thats just an example though.
But they said reduce the overheat rate, which is the opposite of what you are saying.
Also, it’s supposed to be a nerf, so I don’t think your interpretation could work.
But anything is possible. Maybe one of the Russian speakers could look at the original version of the notes and come up with a more accurate translation?
so by what they said here… they lowered the amount of time it takes for the tempest to overheat making it need less modules then it did before… but what DOESNT make sense to me is “weapon efficiency is to high, especially at low PS” … then… why buff it?
“this makes the weapon less dependent on modules”
i am one confused waste lander right now…
if its performing above what you want it to then why would you buff it?
its either one of the following
they buffed its time to overheating
or
they made a typo and reduced the time it takes for the gun to overheat meaning it cant fire for to long before it overheats.
i think it mightve been a typo on the devs part because why on earth would you buff something thats over performing in low ps?
