This use to frustrate the crap out of me:
Black flag was the only assassin’s creed game I played with the exception of origins and odyssey that I briefly played a pirated copy of but didn’t get very far. I wouldn’t mind playing a remake of any one of the original 3 and if I had it back i prob would of played them but too late for that now.
Immortals fenix rising is my favourite ubisoft game of recent times I loved that game and wasted at least a month at it.
The first 2 were actually my favorites after that the combat systems started being funky. None of the series is bad though.
Titanfall 2 was pretty cool though but I can’t say much about how I played it still under contract. I really liked the wall running sequences. Since the game has been out I think I can talk about the basic game play without breaking anything. I did this is a single 24 hour period of gaming as I had limited access time for the test. If you finished you got paid.
I’d still play this even though there are some better takes on it: Trade Wars - Wikipedia old bbs game. You only got 50 moves a day. You had to make your own maps which was fun for exploration and the maps between servers were randomly spawned. It was a very cool small program that was editable and lead the way to some more modern games.
Wolfenstien and doom I’ve played on multiple sets of VR headsets at tradeshows. What we have now isn’t the first version of VR. They were cool at the time and are still kind of cool.
One of my favorite shipping games ever is still available too: Ports of Call (video game) - Wikipedia They still give me my old codes when I email them I love those guys.
I own that game on steam, thinking about buying bf 2024 too seeming it is on sale for like 6 dollars right now but I kinda fell out of love with fps shooters which is what is keeping me from buying it.
Edit: not fps shooter per say just multiplayer fps shooters
The cool thing about titanfall2 is that you can jump between 2 combat sequences outside of the wall running. So you kind of have to unlock the puzzle logic between the two areas to clear the zone. It’s an interesting approach to make things more complicated than it should be.
If I can I wait for it to be free but if I really want it I just buy it, if the price is reduced enough. If I do new stuff it’s normally a contract test where I can’t say much about it.
I liked that about titanfall and was a breath of fresh air from call of duty but I dumped most of my time in the original titanfall and I prob stopped playing it after a couple of weeks but it was still fun.
Some games are really like that you would laugh I mostly beat Fallout New Vegas for fall out just using dynamite sticks till much later in the game. If I could out maneuver the NPC’s I could land them on them consistently. It worked and was a big flaw.
Some of the FPS games just hinge on a single weapon. Borderlands 2+ I found a little harder as they have you swapping often. Their drops were better so you’d just run out sometimes.
I must shamefully admit but I never played borderlands
That pine game looks fun
Pine kind of reminds me of a Zelda like rpg at least in it’s looks I have it installed just haven’t had time to play it. I think they offered it for free last year on Epic. I think I have backlog of 400+ games from them as a backlog just from them via their weekly promotions.
There is a fun puzzle game they gave out a few years ago is called “Death Coming”:
This is kind of amusing for trying to kill time with it offers some bit of gore satisfaction for the amount of time it takes. If I’m waiting for something else to finish up on another computer I might pop this on to play for a few minutes.
I wake up everyday, drink a glass of water, go to toilet, and do my daily star trek online missions after that.
I play tears of the kingdom frequently on yuzu so the pine might be right up my ally. It got the same type of art style and stuff.
I still have a copy of this somewhere:
One of the reasons I’d love our dear devs to do a map editor. I have to load dosbox to play this now.
I actually love that game but it’s so bad.
Don’t like sims, I kinda liked sims 2 when I was a teenager on the gamecube but I can’t see myself playing it now tho.
It’s not the same thing this was based on sim city so you could drive the streets you made rather then messing with the really odd houses. and their inhabitants.
Just finished the silent hill 2 remake. I am absolutely traumatized and never playing another silent hill game no more cause it’s that over the top scary, games like outlast or resident evil is small potatoes compared to the sh2 remake. Word’s can’t describe how scary and mentally warped that game is.
