3rd person view distance

What do u guys think of the tactic to stack items to get a better 3rd person perspective of the surroundings? The higher your rig the further back the perspective goes.

Do u remember before the 2.0 update when things weren’t so upclose to the build in the game view. I actually wish it was still set further back so u can see more but the stacking trick is as close as you can get… actually it pushes it out further at max height.

Its so easily destroyed though so not too much use and only best for probably support builds. Sometimes it does survive but when shot off it’s funny to see the perspective shrink down and the game speeds up in perception as you play on.

they had hurricane builds that were as tall as the empire state building back in the day lol, anyone remember those?

i like further out views for things like mandrakes. makes enemies easier to pick off or see. its just a shame we dont have higher points to see from in third person. you literally have to add parts to increase your view height and i think thats just… idk kind of a hinderance.

They should add a module to fix this, kinda like iris, but for extra view distance.

I find for most weapons i use (cannons, autocannons, quasars) a more close up view makes aiming easier. I used to reduce cam distance already before it became the default.

But i get why you might want to use a further cam distance for the weapons mentioned.
