A little help with my Bruiser, please

Actually i have two versions.

They may look the same to you but they aren’t, i need some help from you regarding a single point, a decision i have to make.
the resources are limited and i’m a pro in embarking in pointless side-tracks

So, good news, apparently i’m not tied to a co-driver, so i can use grizzly and all will be the same.
Bad news, i’m tied to the engine, i can’t put a Fin whale engine, perhaps a jaguar but would not be as good as cheetah in this particular case.
if i put Grizzly at the wheel that’s 12,897 mass limit, if i fuse a third cheetah it will add 320 kilos to that…so that will be 13, 217 mass limit at 101 kph instead of the current 104 kph, and i’ll still be 218 kg short of the mark (13435 kgs instead of 13541kgs ).
I will try something first but it will require a fused cheetah for mass limit.
That would require 5 to 6 engines ( i reckon )
what would you do?

you’ll need to show the parts it is made of…the non-structural parts, and say what type of vehicle it is and how you mean to use it before advice could be correctly given…
:slightly_smiling_face:

Don’t remove the cheetah as its perk is marginally better for drones, finwhale doesn’t work on them since it’s only for weapons that shoot projectiles. Drone launchers aren’t boosted by it, same with contact weapons

Put at least 6 wheels there, like come on lol, 4 wasn’t ever enough

Remove the excessive bumpers, just use 1 at the front and that’s it

Place the cab on the front to better hide the launchers

It’s a drone build, meant to be played like a RAM/SG build with " extreme prejudice ", the two builds are the same, use the same parts, the only difference, this version has

2 extra flails ( + 436 kgs )
2 extra 3x1 frame (+ 82 kgs )
1 extra 1x6 frame ( + 81 kgs )
1 extra twin blade ( + 106 kg )

I’m already testing a lighter version of this (13281 kgs vs the current 13541 kg ) that the lighter version could achieve.
Al of this for 6 kph and for good acceleration. I’m starting to wonder if…
As is i do notice a difference.
This ( inferno cab ) is the second high medium cab that i pick and it lacks in acceleration and top speed when compared with other medium cabs.
That can be translate in survivability.
But then there are games like this when…

when i literally went up the other guy ass full steam ahead and i came out on the other side.
Kills like that are so rewarding
I would like to have the best of two worlds

I used to think that way, until i had no choice but to remove 2 of them ( lack of mass limit).
i kept the fenders for armour, initially were even heavier fenders ( scavs )
the changes i made turned out to work better against melee, cannons and general close quarters combat than the wheels durability has to offer.
Experience show me that i don’t lose them as much as i thought i would lose them.
essentially, that spot is my melee / everything blast damage related catcher when i’m not able to catch them ahead on or with my back.
It’s not perfect, but i’m happy with it.

golly gee i wonder why

That’s a feature
and it’s a perk
You would be surprised how many people don’t take full advantage of their mass.

People still remember and complained about the heavy bricks, how unstoppable they were and they still are
There’s a lot of situations where weight still matters, where you can simple overpower your oponent
