A safe mode for bedlum

I personally think there should be a safe mode/function in bedlum for though of us who go in there to test or have fun but not want to participate in a battle free for all, plus bedlum is filled with bullies/people who go in there just to harass others even when told to leave them a lot, as soon as you utter leave me alone to those types they almost always focus on you only case in point Deadlyj05 and SavageQueen who go in there just to harass and bully others, nothing will be done as their clan war whales their words not mine but harassing others for days on end is sad, so why not have a function where you can’t be killed by others if your build doesn’t have any weapons on it and you don’t do damage to others, but if you do damage to some one only they can damage you back only that once unless you damage them again. So that way others who just want to have fun and not be harassed by people who get off on online bullying to fulfill themselves can have fun without being targeted days on end by the same few people

bedlum is useless just my opinion even with 12,000 hrs in game I still dont go there, sure people say its a good way to waste time but then they complain cuz the game is grindy, ya when u put no actual time playing to obtain stuff, while people hangout in belum, im running the market, making plans for new project ect while everyone else cries bout the game cuz they get mislead by edited videos on youtube on how stuff works in game, yes im off topic and i dont care

This whole idea defeats the purpose of bedlam. Bedlam is meant for this kind of stuff, hence the whole “No rules, no rewards” thing. If you don’t like it go play awakening or something.

Bedlam has ebbs and flows between hanging out and fighting. You can usually find a bunch of folks pooled up in a circle chatting, with a few others doing 1v1s. After maybe 15-20 minutes, everyone goes bonkers and WW7 starts. It’s generally in good fun, but yeah there are some jerks who come in and harrass the same people. That’s when you ask for help, and often someone (like myself) will step in to take some pressure off of the victim. When you can start crafting some builds to put the hurt on these types, then you’ll know you’ve come a long way.

I started playing Bedlam about 4 years ago after reading similiar complaints about it on the previous forum. Went in there, and just started shooting folks I thought I could take on. I didn’t know about 7-year veterans with minimal builds that could rip apart the heaviest thing I could build. Learned alot, and fast!

There’s one particular player, I’ll just call him “H”, who’s been after me for 4 years (granted, he was the very first bozo I ever shot up in Bedlam when I first started playing it). I built a few craft that can counter just about anything he throws at me. When he comes in with his Spark copter and hurls lightning bolts across the landscape, I get mine and we go at it. When he switches builds (which he does when he’s losing), I do the same, and we go at it. It’s actually become fun now, and we hunt each other constantly. If it wasn’t for Bedlam, and wanting to be able to stand my ground in there, I wouldn’t have the equipment and builds I have now.

If not a full on safezone bedlam, I’d settle for a heli and walker free classic bedlam

I miss the classic bedlam so much…Ok not by a whole lot it’s always been bad, but I did visit it once a week rather than the current day bedlam where I think once every two months or something for maybe 5 minutes until I get tired of either dying to trolls or accidentally reading the chat and dying of second hand cringe

Nah now that I think about it even further, it’s always been a glorified chatroom where people with “endgame” inventories can go into and boost their confidence after doing bad enough in normal pvp to be reduced to a point of having to go and kill people half or less of their own ps, and for people who do not get enough of a sense of belonging and group-ness to group up and feel like they’re a part of a social circle of some kind

In Bedlam you see folks with ice cream trucks, hot dog trucks, and taco trucks. And they feed you for free. You won’t see such generosity in any other mode.
