Helis and classic builds are never going to mix, not with any kind of changes. Even with the addition of legs, people just wish they could have legs and classic builds mode, without the helis. Helis were a massive waste of resources and time and trying to figure out a game mode where you can have everything together is just not going to work. Just look at Bedlam compared to what it was before Helis were added and what it is now. Helis need to be limited to just helis, even with the massive amount of changes done to weapons and their performance in heli (now next step) mode compared to classic, it just does not work
I do think helis make for an interesting battle. I donât care that they in the game especially in a free for all mode. I do think they have an unfair advantage atm because for most of the part there is very little a common build can do to pressure them. If a ground troop wants to take car of a helil it has to be specially built to do so but then becomes vulnerable to ground attacks. Thats why I say increase the aiming height/angle.
Like a rotating gun mount⌠I like that Idea. It could be used for more than just shooting up. Some weapons have a hard time shooting down as well.
When I find this happening I leave the queue return to garage, count to 10 then select battle again. I find I get a couple of matches against different teams before the same team starts appearing again.
Yea i try to do the same thing. I know that I will never be able to win every match. I know that sometimes it will be lopsided. That is just how competitive gaming works. I am not by any means disillusioned to think that there should be only updates to the game that benefits my playstyle.
I do however believe that if this was real life and these were real factions of engineers and people of war. This is one thing that they would not ignore. Thier troops going into battle and just getting obliterated by sky chimps.
The would figure out something to be sure!
Whether it be angles, or specialized gear to help to take down sky threats is a must have.
Otherwise factions would loose the war indefinitely.
Use a heli.
I donât understand why you are so against this.
There is a very simple answer:
Crossout is a relatively small game, so depending on your region, time of day, PS range, and mode that you are playing, there may not be enough players online for the matchmaker to work very well. On top of that, when some of your potential teammates are playing in a group, you may never end up on their team and will repeatedly be battling against them, because the matchmaker is struggling to find enough players to balance out that group.
Youâll notice that your team might have a few different players each match, but you are always against the same squad (who are often steamrolling your team).
I believe the matchmaker likes to keep people in a specific queue to load quicker, so if you take a short break, you get dumped into a new queue, and youâre no longer battling that same kill squad anymore. Changing PS will also do the same thing.
Well then they need to rework that.
Another little simple idea I just came up with is maybe just make rotors cost energy like 1 to 2 energy each and maybe even legs. They will probably still be op but it should lower their advantage in pvp and give players a reason to keep using classic ground builds.
just ban rotor loser and the problem fix itself
you fight on the ground or you dont fight at all
That is never going to happen. Frankly it doesnât fix the issue. In case you have forgot there are other airborne threats like missiles that come from the sky as well. Not to mention certain areas have high low terrain. So this ground that you speak of is not as flat as you make it out to be. People believe that its a 2d environment that we are fighting in but there is so much more to it. One must consider the cabin height as well. Having more range to shoot up or down with weapons will open up avenues when building and fighting.
it can literaly happen next week
forcing gaijin to remove this shit is pretty simple and not even this expensive
It could happen but itâs not going to. Nor would I want it to. It would take away from the possibilities of future development. How do you think that we can force them to remove helis?
I feel the same, itâs annoying when there are helis
there are plenty of Legal action that can be taken against this bafoonery .
actions they cant refuse , or actions that have a direct impact on the revenue if refused
yea im sure you can sue a game developer for adding rotors to the game
ask bigger companys like Blizzard
they had to remove adds ,clans and Moderators by the whims of the community.
Seth, I get that your upset. I am here to tell you that I donât think you will be able to get a lot of people behind you. I for one donât run helis right now but in the future i plan to start working on one.
The best we could do is come up with ideas that the devs might find fair and then ask them as a community to consider reworking some of the problems and frustrations we face.
Maybe consider making a post yourself about the removal of helis. Get a vote going or something.
Do you think that is something you can do?
I think that all machine guns need to be able to shoot higher. Since helis lose a lot of durability due to weight, machine guns with armor pen could potentially do alot of damage. Not only that the constant rate of fire from the ground will make it harder for lowflying avalance builds. Avalances are nasty
- I hate Crossout helicopters!
- I love Crossout helicopters!
- Whatever.
