Allow doing previous seasons

So a while ago, Deep Rock Galactic did this neat thing where they made it so you can choose to play any previous season, anytime, making progress in it and getting its rewards instead of being always in the current ongoing one. Then a while later, Temtem (some online Pokemon-style game) did pretty much the same thing in its final update, largely to remove Fear of Missing Out (FoMO)

Recently I found out about this cool hyperborean season and all the cool rewards in it, and I thought “Damn, I seriously wish I could have gotten that one too”, with all that fancy gear and the Omnibox CK and etc etc, and I am now wishing Crossout does the “allowing doing previous seasons again” thingie aswell.

Granted, Crossout’s situation is different from those other two games: unlike DRG, the battle passes here are (mostly) premium, and unlike Temtem, we’re still under live service (and I hope we can remain this way for a while).
I imagine this could really shake up the ingame economy and alter the market in ways I have no clue of, for better or worse, but I would be seriously grateful if something like that were implemented in some way, with at least the main rewards (functional, structural and cosmetic vehicle parts, basically). Maybe allowing making progress through these through a set of challenges (basically all the weekly challenges the expired season had) running in parallel alongside the ongoing season?

We’ve asked for similar many times.

So I shouldn’t keep my hopes up on this? Darn

It’s just not profitable for the publisher. You can buy all the items from previous seasons on the market or in the store, and also, sometimes, craft them in event passes
