do these seem pointless and useless to anyone else?

ammo supply is the same size as 2 ammo reserves but weighs more and has less ammo then two ammo reserves. fused ammo supply has 117% increased ammo. fused ammo reserves have 62% increased ammo.
ammo reserve weighs 96 kg and the ammo supply weighs 252 kg.
1 ammo supply is 117% more ammo and 252 kg.
2 ammo reserves is 124% more ammo and weighs 192 kg
1 ammo rack is 172% more ammo and weighs 408 kg.
3 ammo reserves is 186% more ammo and weighs 288 kg.

so… why bother with the higher ammo weight and why not just choose ammo reserves? sure it has far less hp but it lets you carry alot more ammo.

I use all 3 types of ammo crates. It depends on how much ammo I expect to need, and more importantly, the space I have to fit the crate(s) in. Weight for me is rarely an issue. I tend to make “tight” builds, so sometimes the reserve boxes fit better than the supply or rack…either way, a little more is usually better than a little less, imo.
