Crossout Anniversary 2056

Hello, survivors!

It’s time to celebrate another year in the Wasteland! Right before the start of the new season on June 4, there’s plenty in store for you: from the return of the updated “Evolution” brawl and a free armoured car to a special offer on relic parts and uranium ore. Let’s take a look at everything we have prepared.

Attention! The special offer and the “Evolution” brawl will be available until June 3 inclusive! You can claim your free armoured car in-game until June 10 inclusive!
Special offer on relic parts and uranium ore

Throughout the special offer period, you can produce existing relic parts (except for the “Sovereign” crossbow) at a reduced cost: the recipes are available at a special promotional workbench. During the special promotion, standard relic part recipes at the Engineers workbench will be unavailable.
You can produce upgraded versions of relic parts at the same workbench, as well as exchange a number of epic parts for a specific amount of uranium ore:
    “Catalina” cabin: 30 ore (up to 3 can be exchanged);
    “AC64 Joule” autocannon: 30 ore (up to 3 can be exchanged);
    “King” minelayer: 25 ore (up to 3 can be exchanged);
    “Synchronizer” spread stabilizer: 15 ore (up to 4 can be exchanged);
    “Icebox” cabin: 15 ore (up to 4 can be exchanged).

Movement parts: “Studded wheel (ST)” and “Studded wheel” (2 pcs. each);
A set of stickers and decorations;

A set of structural parts;
Maximum number of parts increased to 65.

“Evolution” brawl returns

“Evolution” is a brawl in which the player faces both other players and AI opponents. The battles have pre-set vehicles.
Compared to the previous launch, the number of smaller cars has been increased to make the start smoother, and the “Lion” evolution stage has been added, along with a related in-battle event, so keep an eye out!
The vehicles have no weapons: the only way to destroy an opponent is to hit them with your vehicle.
Hitting opponents that are smaller than you increases the size of your vehicle. Once you reach a certain size, the appearance of your vehicle also changes. Hitting opponents that are larger than you destroys your vehicle and resets its size to its original size after respawn.
The goal is to earn the most points before time runs out. The larger your vehicle, the more different enemies you can “devour” and, accordingly, the faster you earn points.
Please note: there are AI enemies on the map that you cannot destroy even with the largest vehicle available. If you see such an enemy, get away.
The reward for battles of the mode is scrap metal.

Rewards for the special challenges:

New decor “LED Evolution”;
“Electron” paint;
Two “Beast monarch” stickers;
Containers: “Military reserve” and “Humanitarian aid”;
160 Engineer badges.

The good:
The pack is pretty nice, while still just blue parts mostly, it gives a Volt cabin to those who originally missed it, and to those who already have it,k a possibility to fuse it maybe someday. The paint is actually really nice and pretty. Three days premium is always three days premium as well.

The evolution builds (especially the bigger ones) feel like they handle a bit more better than originally, they still aren’t able to move around too nimble but now it doe snot feel that they can only move straight for the most part. The lion hunt thing (the biggest car you can get can only gain points from enemy bots, and if smaller builds bump into them, they gain a bit of points from the lion rather than instadeletion of smaller player builds) seems to work ok, I only tested 2 matches but it did not stand out as negative on initial exposure, more of a positive thing.

The bad:
The workbench, which is basically the “main” event of this anniversary, it’s bad. Only relics and a few exchange pack item for uranium parts, and that’s it. No epic or legendary fused parts at all, so basically it’s useless to everyone except people with relics and looking to fuse relics, which is not the majority of people playing the game by the looks of it. Also I am no expert but the relics might cost 100 ura more than the last time this came around (last year anniversary), I do not know for sure but heard some talk. But even if that was not the case, it’s still really bad for us common folk. So if you were looking forward to getting some new epic or legendary parts out of the anniversary, well womp womp.

Instantly made me loose any excitement I had for the anniversary and now it’s just another shit day at the office so to say, no new toys 4u go back to your usual cubicle and do the same daily grind you always do

The pack is decent for new players; newer players might be able to earn some coins selling duplicated stuff. Haven’t looked at the workbench yet.
