Crossout development roadmap. Winter and spring of 2025
Survivors!
We present to your attention the Crossout development roadmap. It covers the period from January to March 2025 inclusive. The map shows only some of the new features we are actively working on. We won’t reveal all the surprises, but we can tell you one thing for certain — the next big update will be dedicated to the Founders!
Please note that this roadmap is for informational purposes. The release period of these changes may be postponed. Also, the new features presented on the roadmap are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all.
Any guesses on the new special module? I guess there aren’t any special radiators/coolers, so maybe that?
I’m nervous about whatever they mean by speed balance changes, but based on previous statements I suspect it will be mostly about making the difference between light/heavy/medium more extreme.
As long as my fast light builds stay fast, I’m happy.
Also very curious what they’re doing with mechs and helicopters. I don’t mind the arcade mode, but it does limit what types of builds are effective, and I would like to do more with my mech legs. Long range weapons are especially bad in the arcade mode, and support builds aren’t that useful either.
Founders huh, high hopes for that because I love the construction vehicles faction
Other than that don’t really care much for anything else, though new map, let’s hope it’s good because usually after they make a new map you get it spammed at you so much, and I really hate the new syndicate map it sucks and it’s being shoved in my face 2-3 times in a row once it pops up
Blueprints tab, let’s hope they have not screwed it up like the first edition of it they wanted to roll out that everyone hated. New clan interface, meh I don’t like clan activities/gameplay and every interface update they make makes the game feel like cheap mobile game slop
I hope the “new gameplay” is nothing like the arcade mode. Really hate that mode, everything moves too fast, mech legged-builds are nearly impossible to kill, and the whole thing is often unbalanced, with one side having 2 or more copters and the other side having zilch.
Seems we suddenly investors guys Q1 of the roadmap so maybe they should consider fixing stuf i find. before posting a roadmap… in a game that is so called stil early acces. Anyways its stil alive compared to ROBOCRAFT that one just died in 2025 january. — to say it easy if they ever want people to invest into crossout they should consider many improvements. —. I will keep looking at this game as hobby.
we get a big ass dump truck with wheels the size of a building! … or at least i hope so lol. i imagine the wheels, if they have any, will be twice as big as bigfoots, ive seen dump trucks with them ginormous wheels and im very curious to see if they put that kind of wheel in here.
im curious about that to… im wondering if they mean a new game mode for them? they did say in the past they were designing a new raid for coptors so maybe it implements legs into it to??
I like that it doesn’t appear very ambitious. I’m pretty tired of them upsetting the core game mechanics, and am very ready for them to settle on something. It’s a cool game, but wow it has some rough edges.
IMO, they just need to doll-up the system they have (after they add boats), expand it’s universe (more maps, good) and stop reinventing…the wheel?
A speed update? I wish they’d buff the speed on my Call a little, but I bet they don’t and instead nerf the speed on whatever it is I have that’s still fast. I can’t imagine where they are going with this, and I don’t even think I know what they mean to do with this.
They are making a big deal out of it though, and opening a test server for it, so I presume it’s a little extreme somehow? IDK.
