Best car to use so far…

I was excited for this one but it’s disappointing. Mostly because of the builds. All of it is just avalanche with tracks. They could have done so many things, yet it’s basically the same build three times. Wyy even have a build choice at that point it’s all the same

Well, it was advertised as an avalanche battle, so there should be no surprise. I’m actually enjoying it, and seem to do best with the Praetorian build.

There’s a lot more ways to play avalanche than box with tank tracks, and the builds could have been a bit more imaginative than shoot in the back for kill

Essentially it’s just the cannon brawl with the shields rather than anything new or avalanche-specific

You probably don’t get why this brawl was created in the first place. There’s actually quite a bit of community ore behind that thing

Yup I have no idea of what kind of lore there is behind this brawl and I am judging it only based on gameplay and how much fun it is to play

Basically there’s a Russian youtuber named PlayHard_Games. This guy is basically the original JBRider and he was playing Crossout since the open beta (2017).

And oh boy, the dude didn’t improve at all in almost 10 years of playing the game. Like… his plays are very average, but his building skills are really bad, he doesn’t understand why most builds are hated/liked for and all his vids consist of “here’s 5 random plays on (x) weapon”. And he gets about 5k views on each video (which is alot for crossout as you can guess).

So the main thing i’m talking about, roughly a year ago he discovered avalanche. And since it always was a low-skill braindead weapon that allows the lil’ sheepie to be an actual threat with no building/shooting/positioning skills involved on the sheepies’ part, he quickly hopped on the avalanche train. And now he posts, like, 2-5 videos with avalanche weekly.

He has a “avalanche therapy” videos weekly. Basically “look guys, i’m not a total sheepie since i get kills on the most braindead build in the game!!!”.

Of course, lil’ sheepies absolutely LOVED a weapon that allows them to play competitively with no effort, especially that their favourite youtuber endorses it. So the devs are trying to be hip, like that with Twitch drops “salvage” sticker (which also has a cringe youtuber lore behind it) or with Wade.

This clip will tell you everything you need to know lol

It’s not a bad brawl though I do kind of wish there was more choices in the the build selection even if they were all avalanche builds. I probably would have doubled the selection and raised the PS range to do so. It’s kind of fun though.

As far as skill level goes on them anyone can deal damage at close range with them but aiming them for distance shots when the target is no longer in your sights is kind of more challenging. The projectile drop is harsh to adjust to.

I can’t say I would call avalanche as therapy though as you just don’t get that many shots in per game and a single shot blocked by a teammate costs the player a lot. That’s kind of more frustrating then therapeutic. lol

You don’t get it. Just put avalanche and two goliaths, that’s it. It doesn’t matter if you miss or your teammate eats your shots, you have way too many effective HP and most shots don’t do anything to you.

Hence why avalanche is sheepies’ favourite. Why learn to build if you can just plop 3 parts. Why learn how to aim if you can miss 4 shots and still be alive. Why learn how to position yourself if you have ~4-5k EHP in each track and ~8k EHP in your avalanche. Why learn how to pick your fights if you win 99% of the builds 1v1.

Just my opinion, but if it keeps new(er) players interested in the game, it’s worth it.

Don’t tell me what I get and don’t get.

That’s kind of giving up early. I have a hoop you could shoot through in my garage to try to learn to aim outside of sights. You’re on PC just look in my garage that’s what the 3 heads are for in the range. It’s not easy to be consistent in that way especially with both people moving.

Not everyone applies to what you think is normal. I get what you mean by effective HP but that doesn’t matter if you are out maneuvered. Most players aren’t even going to notice the reload cycle and what it looks like either. Sometimes you have enough time to move around just to counter a close shot.

I don’t consider myself good at this either… Still lost regardless.
