I am throwing my F2P account against that wall, and making some progress, but right now is the part of the day I can actually focus on it. Iāve hit a few times today, but Iāve really only given it a cursory examination so far.
If I can make this f2p account work, probably anybody can do it, right?
It feels like common-core math though, and I hate it.

Ups So I was wrong guys donāt have a break. 
Looks like other people are experiencing my issue, so nice to know Iām not alone, and that itās been reported already.
Itās possible that my three day wait will expire when the game day cycles over tonight, so hopefully Iāll be earning activity soon.

It does really suck your having this issue.
But with such a major update you always expect some bugs and just hope they donāt affect you.
Iām sure it will get fixed.

How are solo or new players supposed to earn engineer badges?

i AM a solo player. i have been for a long time. i have a few relics myself and am trying to get another, but this system is just bad. if your a solo player your locked off to everything and your very VERY limited to what you can complete per week if you keep going solo in a solo band. this system is not good. im scared to spend any of my badges or any of my resources now because of this change.
it also really sucks because if you leave a band, get kicked or the clan / band disbands, then your stuck waiting for 3 days till you can join another. and during that time you cant complete any of your weekly challenges or anything. your stuck with your small amount of daily challenges.
please tell me your not meaning me in thisā¦ lol

we all play (by ourselves and not in groups most of the time in our clans) we r not solo with a clan tag on our nameā¦sheees

Yeah itās nice to be able to find similar issues and it makes me happy that they were able to adapt to using a real bug tracker too. That three day thing really sucks, I wish they would have thought it over more. I was debating on leaving the band that I made too, to look for something more actively filled but I think Iām just going to wait a bit till they sort things out.

If your clan is big enough, and active enough, to have a squad on line all hours of the day to take advantage of that brief window of opportunity they allow you to actually engage in this feature (and they are good enough to actually win a little), THEN this system will work āgreatā for you.
Somebody else will get that for you while you sit on your ass, pool-side, sipping your sweet-tea, pondering your bliss.
I think thatās how they sold this feature to us in the first place. Not that we all said, āOh-boy! Thatās what we have all been waiting for. Great!ā But, that is how they branded it; āDonāt like to do raids? Fine. Now you can get your servants to do that for you.ā

In my case I have not played with my clan in clan wars or any another game mode in over a year.
Have not talked in voice or done a single raid with another person.
Sounds like solo play to me.
This I agree with. It can work out well for some. The loss of some of the dailies (weeklies) I do find really demotivating I like having a few personal weeklies to chase after. I do think they could adjust this new method so it works with both the solo player and the clan solo or clan team player groups though rather than alienating the purely solo player.
I think too many players skip the tests and the easy words of the soft sell were easy to gloss over.

You are not a solo player. You are a clan member in a clan with other players who chooses to que solo. Big difference on your earn rates, even if you never ever group with anyone.
Solo would be: Not in a Clan or in a Clan of one. Solo.
