I wouldn’t have a problem with being locked out for a week, if they had made it clear that’s what would happen. If I had known, I could have stayed with my original inactive clan and then left after the season was over. But then I would still have to take a week off of challenges when joining another, so nothing would really change.
Even so, how does that explain how the player who joined my clan after I made it is able to contribute? Is it because they didn’t leave a clan first?
If it works like clan wars then, yes.
The lack of communication, I think, fueled anger.
Like I said elsewhere, I think they thought everyone would love this & look at it like it was a gift. So the “SURPRISE!” factor would’ve been cool.

In the past, you could leave a clan and join a clan (irrc) originally there was no time limit, then a 24 hour one then the current system.
I won’t explain how top players can profit from this. It was stopped for reasons.
Changing weeklies to the current mini-clan format makes sense to also keep the same barriers to this exploit from happening.
This is a big reason why I won’t join a clan I am not leader of. You can be kicked, even if you did nothing at all and your clan leader just has too much jack daniels.

The prospect of this happening is why I hate it.
It’s a level of responsibility or liability I do not want. If I have a busy week and don’t get to play, or heaven forbid multiple weeks, I have to start all over with this nonsense.
oh thats not the half of it. youll be banned from joining a clan for 3 days but if its sometime after the reset then your also banned from getting the weeklies done until it resets at the end of the week. so thats a middle finger on top of a middle finger. you literally cannot contribute anything until the next reset. and if its early enough in the week well your waiting a number of days before you can do anything. you wont be able to get badges at all.
He’s just trolling, and laughing at the idea that anybody would be emotionally attached to a video game account. It’s salty and antagonistic, but maybe not entirely baseless, but I don’t think he is soliciting an actual conversation. He’s a somewhat notorious troll…however, this one isn’t always wrong about what he says, but his purpose is generally derogatory in nature.
That one can be a mean bastard, due to his accuracy. So, good luck, but I’d suggest just ignoring him.
Dig mine up. Include the dates they were written. When people present problems, I generally state how I worked around it. Those with soft feelings (like you apparently) take it personal. I can be right or wrong and still live with it.
I am (and many others) stating this is a problem and the reasons why. Will they change it? Who knows.
Will I build my clan after fishing season to use the new system if it isn’t changed, you bet. Will it fall apart next spring when fishing season opens? You bet.
I don’t think you can find where I replied to you in a long ago post that you had convinced me the game is P2W (I was arguing it was pay for variety, however, it IS p2w). I forget your exact argument that day, but I have never seen the game as anything but P2W since then.
Man, even here, I can’t seem to stop fishing…

this game is merely a pure shadow of what it used to be. its very sad cuz it was an extremly fun and entertaining game for me. but since devs want you to inject money in this game like you inject oxygen in ur lungs… bye bye! they found a way to kick the old F2P from the servers ^^
