I think Armor parts need some love…its weird seeing big panels just fall off from a few bullets.haha and being bumped some times just fall off to im not saying add more wight but more hp or something Its saposed to be metal right? but it feels like foam the way it reacts to alot of weapons.Yes im aware of difrent armor stats ect but dosent seem to do much though.
Armor stats is one thing I never took a look at when they first brought it out. I didn’t want to turn a fun game into a complex meta-chasing puzzle, especially since I build based on what “looks nice” to me. The only thing I concern myself with is pass-thru vs non-pass-thru parts. That said, I find it odd that machine guns & shotguns can strip large parts off a build fairly quickly while my rockets seem to do nothing. If they’re going to focus on rebalancing modules, they should probably rebalance structural stuff as well.
Im in the same boat but you know me i want it to look nice but able to fight also kinda hard though in a game cars that look like boxes are king! XD

Yup, armor is unrealistically flimsy. Is that a problem ? No.
The game’s goal (aside from objectives) is to destroy the opponent’s armored car and for it to be fun, the game need to stay fast paced. So because cars can have up to 80 different parts, those need to go quickly. There are exceptions for moving parts and weapons because those are critical parts that disable the build if removed so the devs gave them a lot of HP. If armor got a big buff, those parts would be the only reasonable targets (and they already are the best targets) and the game would become a sluggish mess of degunned or immobilized cars. The low armor makes sure that aside from being defanged by specialized weapons like scorps, usually when your build lost mobility or weapons it also lost most of its armor and your suffering will end quickly.
Make APC parts invulnerable to MGs (except reaper, miller and Devourer), flame weapons and shotguns (except parser and the “junkbow” line). Cannons are useful, draco bricks nerfed, DPS meta is weakened. Problem solved.
I think it’s weird that canvas top has more armor than those military panels. Also, shipping containers are weak IRL but in the game they’re stronger than the Founders diamond plate pieces. Everyone talking about the realism of weapons when a cannon can’t take off two canvas tops lol.
they are made of pure, 100%, non ozone destroying, super soft and tough cotton.
