Back on patrol

honestly… i think this might be the best use of fuel to get copper.

5 units of fuel gets me 19 - 22 copper on a win with 20 - 21 being the average.
8 games for 40 fuel nets me between 152 - 176 copper
12 games for 60 fuel nets me between 228 - 264 copper
40 games for 200 fuel would net me between 760 - 880 copper
180 fuel for 3 hard raids can net me between 900 - 1200 copper

sometimes you can get 23 copper from patrol but thats uncommon so i averaged it between 19 - 22. the results there are the average.

the downside to raids being you can get crappy ones or you can get good ones at times.
the upside to patrol is you dont need to wait, its always available.
honestly… i think patrol is better… i mean correct me if im wrong but i think that raids can be good depending what you get but patrols have no delay and you can enter them all you want using minimal fuel.

That sounds like a solid 2-3x return on your investment.

I guess some people are happy fighting bots

The catch of playing patrol for copper is…
you are limited to 700 copper a week.
But yes you can dedicate one, two or more days a week to do copper that way, you can mix and mash with raids to minimize the saturation of either mode.

tbh I don’t play much atm because lost interest, only do the daily challenges in patrol so I guess copper instead of scrap would be better. Didn’t really think about it because I’ve always just ignored back on patrol.

i… did not notice that… huh… my cap with premium is 1050. i thought it had no limit… guess i was wrong lol. thanks for pointing that out.

I agree with you.
Making a specific mode can be boring and if you are like me, i always try to do raids ideally in rock city, founder’s canyon ( fight for fire or defence something ) i can go crate also, but my favourites are those two.
A middle of the road performance can net around 100 copper in medium raids which is around 500 copper, so, not only pays off but also give us something different to do.
either you do something different once a week or you breakdown during a week , i think it pays off.

i like doing perimeter breach at the terminal 45 location. ill do lost coast to but its not the good map for me. ill also do frontier defense at… its in the canyon… rock canyon? founders canyon? its a pvp / pve map where you can just fight eachother right away and theres a capture point on the other side of the rock wall. i always forget the name of that map.
anyways i have factions there i wont fight aka scavengers and nomads. firestarters are up there to.
ill do other random ones to mix it up sometimes to like war for fire and data theft and some other ones. on good hard raids i can get roughly 400 copper per trip. but i can only get 3 raids in. mediums i can get 5 in but taking 8 minutes per run it resets after 30 minutes so… yeah not a whole lot of time. i can get maybe 3 or 4 in depending on the team. usually in mediums i get around 170 per run or so depending on the raid. i did one just now “gone in two minutes” which took 8 minutes for 33 plastic. maybe ill do different raids and log the rewards to see how much of a difference there is between them.

you do patrol for ‘Activity points’
and you want to be in a heli.
i have a heli inc in exhibition for this for bots mode only, can be used in other modes if you good…
patrol is better than playin missions pvp,
sorry but the game has too many weps and nerfs and modules to the weps we have upgraded to have fun any more…

Rock city.

There’s a big difference between frontier defence and data theft.
frontier defence the bots comes to you, you just have to hang on, data theft you have to go in circles, after them.
Fortress would be ok, if not for a small detail, you have to go after them and not always i know where they are coming from.
In the past, gone within 60 secs was ok as long there were people with rigs that would carry the bot but now i’m not seeing those rigs anymore.
for me it’s nomads and dawn children bosses, the rest i’m in.
