Balance changes planned for the next update

The bonus ticks down incrementally so I just hardly ever got the full bonus when trying them and or the bonus I did get would run out fast then I generally could make good use of it.

It is very easy to get a combined durability for a humpback build into the 50 000 range so taking 1000 damage is a drop in the bucket. When Iā€™m running a humpback build I usually got the perk going at almost every point in the match. 30 seconds is a long time you know that is 10% of a reg pvp match, If your going around without the perk at least somewhat utilized than I say your full of it, like I seriously canā€™t think of any other explanation, I seriously canā€™t.

Nobody ever shoots at you and you got a average kills per battle of like 59 ok got yea thatā€™s why you can never get the perk, I canā€™t even believe Iā€™m having this conversation like my brain has just turned to pure rot, Iā€™m at a utter loss words thats how dumbfounded I am.

3.8 and flawlesses are only about 1 in 11 games. Iā€™ve seriously never had more then 12% on the bonus going for any fair length of time. Itā€™s not like I sit there in the middle of combat and try to let people shoot me though.

Yes man the perk counts towards everything on your build I do believe. I figured players who have been playing for years would of had that figured out by now. The perk uses the combined durability of a build which can get to some eye watering levels especially on a leviathan.

I normally has the perk above 15% about 80% of the time after 20 seconds of starting a game

oh really? i had no idea, i thought it was only when the CABIN took damage. then yeah thats pretty powerful lol.

I did the same test with just frames this time so you can safely assume that any part that gets hit will count towards increasing the perk.

I hate it when they do this crap right after I bought a battle pass, and then I have to grind it out bent over some ā€œnew and improvedā€ update. Lesson learned: $9.99.

I hope it goes better than I think it will.

How did they touch you wrongly this time?

Did they somehow make the assembler, which has to be the least used weapon in the game, much much worse? Or have I somehow missed when this became useable/good? So it has the buffs to put it back in line with some other legendries and then made it 13pts to power the thingā€¦ Genius! :rofl:

Their grudge against rotation speed is what is getting under my skin.

That, and I donā€™t think another sweeping damage buff to everything is going to be an improvement.

Its funny we told the same before any public info.
Friend russian said that this russians are like this.

But even if russian community get leaks or info faster, then EQWS get it even faster.
I would make TON of profit if i would know what will happen on market.
Seems like they got dev connections. Even following russian vk/etc i could not get any leak.

About balance update itself, its in 90%+ positive.

Even firebug change is good, if they just add some damage nerf into it.
Good change because firebug projectile was so slow that it could not even hit escaping hovers or other wheels.

Firebug might be new META now, if they will not add some little damage nerf into this good changes.

Legs/tracks were always discriminated by devs(not to mention 2-3 hit die by swarm that cant be countered well by flock/argus only flash that spiders cant use usefull), but seems community did fight and won some buffs for legs.

MGs needed buffs, who got lags should just use remaining hitscan weapons, but in general MGs needed buffs. They had 100% penetration as hitscan and later not, so it was big nerf before, not counting ammobox-requirement.

SWARM needed nerfs a lot, because it could 2-3 shotting Levis or Spiders(mostly spiders) easly. Only meat-grinders could still fight it well. Still i think they should nerf its damage differently, because still it will be too powerfull vs hvys who cant escape it. Flock only work when positional or press S and argusses need 4+, and flash/spark is useless on spider, so WTF devs just discriminated Spiders again? well as always - at least community fight it.

But at least now they nerfed them a little.

I wish they add weapon that will never miss and 2 shot(while being behind cover) wheels and hovers easly so this people will also feel same and learn about this problem.

Ripper might be deadly now, but idk, we will see.

I like the firebug change and if I knew that change was gonna happen I would of kept it(has i donā€™t like playing firedogs) but Iā€™m all out on the rippers now. I already crafted a relic container with the king duck containing the ripper and now I got to buy the other ripper from the market sadly for 40k. I like those relics because they are actually unique, if i wants to play cannons or rockets or mgs then ill just play my upgraded versions of mammoth, narwhal, waltz, imps vindicator etc.

I knew that swarm nerf was comin too, it had too cause theres no way they can keep something soo obviously broken in the game for long and I also noticed a trend that the devs seem to like to tweak the most recently released weapons at a mch higher frequency than older items even if said item is just as if not even more broken. Thatā€™s why the humpback nerf surprised me even tho i knew it was op for as long has its been in the game.

Most of these changes make sense to me, although I donā€™t understand why miniguns are getting a bigger buff than MGs.
Also surprised they arenā€™t buffing many of the overheat shotguns. Iā€™d like to see a spread reduction or range increase for them.

Iā€™m not really very clear on what exactly has gone wrong with shotguns. So, Iā€™m not sure what the best way to improve them would beā€¦and so, I canā€™t really argue with your suggestion eitherā€¦and you know how I like to argue.

I spent so much time trying to figure out why shotguns were performing so badly for me, and Iā€™m still not completely sure.

I like the philosophy of what theyā€™re doing with the reload shotguns. Similar to the cannon changes that made them relevant again.

I do see why they might be reluctant to buff overheat shotguns much, as they still put out a lot of damage at point-blank range, which is how most people used them in the past. Buff the damage and it could be a problem. But the short range and huge spread also forces people to play wedges or dog builds and pin people, which is limiting.

Wedges were part of the meta for so long though, so maybe itā€™s good that shotguns arenā€™t dominating right now.

I havenā€™t posted it yet, but I finally put together a Hammerfall build thatā€™s working ok. I think one of the issues I wasnā€™t taking into account is that mounting my guns one block below the roof of the cabin was blocking my guns more than I realized. Mounting them directly on the roof is giving me better angles, although Iā€™m also losing my guns more often.

Also realized that high speed was screwing me up, because itā€™s so hard to control a light car above 100kmh.
