Barrier Shield seems to let damage through? Without the shield even breaking \ disappearing. Not often but it happens anyways
Had a Cannon shot zip through a full Barrier shield and a second one that was almost done. So at least 1 full shield confirmed.
(Just happened so I thought i’d type this)
Not sure if it’s just me, or if its a bug. Or even intentional maybe? Just seems weird why cannons and pretty sure other things (that shouldn’t) can sometimes bypass the shield entirely.
I think slow moving projectiles pass through, but I’m wondering if maybe the cannon hits are big enough to take it down and keep going?
Fortune, Doom, Yongwang all go through shields, explosion radius’s also go through

cannon shells and anything that pierces can go through shields.
scorpions pierce through shields so you will be hit by it no matter what but at reduced damage. (i know this cause it pierces through novas shield to.)
cannon shells explode and shields are weak to explosion damage and they pierce to.
any slower moving projectiles like fortunes and dooms can go through shields.

to elaborate a little, i had done experiments before with shield based items. i tried blocking double typhoon shots only to still be hit i think the shield blocks a large portion of the damage but anything left over still damages my cabin.
with aegis it can tank a bit of damage from my avalanche but my avalanche can still pierce through the shield and explode dealing damage, although it deals reduced damage due to the aegis’ shield absorbing some of the impact. i deal roughly 400 to 460 damage depending on where i hit the build. its not like before where the bullet would just disappear, it will break the shield by dealing the amount of damage it dishes out and then the rest to the parts behind the shield.
put it this way, if the aegis absorbed 1000 damage before going down and my avalanche does lets say 1400 damage, the shield would absorb the 1000 damage from the initial impact but the rest of the damage would still go through so id deal 400 damage.
ive done this to plenty of bots with the avalanche and the result is the exact same every time. im not sure if the avalanche counts as a fast moving projectile, plus it wouldnt disappear if it hits the aegis due to its size. im quite curious if it would do the same thing to the novas shield or the barrier 9. sadly bots suck with the avalanche so im unable to test it.
