UPGRADING EXISTING FACTIONS
Steppenwolfs
- Style Upgrade: More diverse military tech like mech-style turrets, armored trains.
- New Theme: Guardians of humanity secretly constructing a mobile fortress — “Iron Bastion.”
- Hidden Conflict: A rift within their ranks — some want to protect people, others seek domination.
Firestarters
- New Direction: Rituals, ceremonies, and scavenging tech from the fallen. More cult-like madness, not just pure chaos.
- Weapons: Flamethrower turrets, fire mines, demonic symbols.
Lunatics
- Secret Origin: They might’ve come from underground labs where Ravagers experimented on humans. Possibly partially infected?
- Story Element: A hidden leader known as “Jester Sudo”, orchestrating everything like a deadly circus.
Engineers
- Upgrade: Give them a real technological secret — like an ancient project revealing the truth behind the Catastrophe.
- Gear: Drones, detection fields, EMP weaponry.
Nomads
- Story Twist: The Nomads discovered an old relic that shows the fate of the Wasteland.
- New Style: Caravans, temple-like vehicle designs, desert spirits — a blend of sand and faith.
NEW MAPS & UPGRADES
- Ghost City – Ruined concrete blocks with vertical combat zones.
- Radar Station – Satellite arrays, hidden tunnels, tall towers.
- Frozen Dockyard – Icy ships, frozen warehouses, perfect for snow-based warfare.
AWAKENING MISSION IDEAS
- Echoes of the Old War – Engineers hire you to explore an ancient military base… but something survived in there.
- Ravager’s Code – A hacker-style mission with Dawn Children. Infiltrate a ruin controlled by Ravagers and download the code.
- Burning Wheels – Firestarters launch a deadly caravan raid. Stop them before they torch a whole settlement.
RAIDS WITH LORE
- Raids should unlock story cutscenes or voice logs.
- Each raid should have a faction-specific purpose: who sent you and why?
- Rewards: lore fragments, ancient documents, and even parts of unique vehicles or forgotten technologies.
