BFU is a stupid mode

Here i am trying to accomplish this

well, i thought, with this i can trade badges for two birdies things to do ramming stuff in the next step.
then, thanks to JBrider i realize i can enter with my Bruiser, so, why not?
the hull must be tough enough for that, the problem will be the rest ( weapons and modules) and… it was confirmed. But i think it is pretty doable…
there’s definitely a clear difference in handling between this type of mission and the next step, i’m Clearly must more nimble in the next step.
All i’ve got was 4 games, not enough to fill this bar.
Also, i know it’s nothing to write home about but i was a bit surprised how good my build is…or how shitty my team mates were.

I wasn’t expecting performing how i performed given the circumstances, a plain build among specialized BFU builds full of bells and whistles…fused whistles.
I played extremely conservative but i’m still going for the orb…

tried it just now…what a load of bull…1700 score?!? in 1 game of 4vs4 with the usuall creeps?!?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

you can barely do that in a normal pvp now with 6vs6…

…so sad…

No, that’s only for uranium ( the 1700 ), i did it for the 600 badges, so i only had to take inn consideration the amount of damage i had to make…and from i’ve seen it must be pretty hard to get those points, as you can see, you have to have a major impact in each game to get it

But i agree with you, it’s pretty boring, having to wait for your team mates to get into whatever position after they decide where to go, having to wait for the other team to do the same, cause nobody has the initiative ( usually it cost to much in those modes ).

VS pedal to the metal all the time. ( it’s more fun that way )
I don’t know why they don’t put respawns in the BFU and classic missions, it would work with 6 vs 6, Next step works well.
Pill ups, chaos, action, in the majority of the times it’s a never ending brawl.

And no major differences in PS

First… what exactly is a “bruiser”?

Second, i’d suggest not actually following his advice on builds or weapons meta. He’s pretty low skilled when it comes to understanding the “backroom Crossout” as i’d call it.

Guess you already met Bruiser my 4 th gen Hawk build.

It has pedigree, it comes from my 3 th gen Hawk build " Storm Chaser "

First and second gen… i don’t have a name from them…they were the first steps for what Bruiser is today.

Man, i have the screenshots to proof it, but yes i know that is not all me ( the MVP and all ) but i did got it ( i wasn’t expecting that to tell the truth ). I only wanted the extra badges
My build is not 100% optimized for clan wars or BFU but it is pretty tough ( all my builds must be tough or better be, i sink a lot of hours making them…specially against specific type of builds ).

No i don’t follow JBrider like that, mainly for entertainment, i don’t have a Dolores or Catalina or whatever floats his boat

No. Your build is literally a frag courier to the enemy team. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s the truth.

Because you’re playing at ~1200 score, which is literally achievable in 30 minutes of playing BfU from scratch.

That’s literally the bottom of the barrel, your teammates have minimal brain activity at this league so it’s natural that you get MVPs, because the bar is set so low.

I’d recommend taking a look at https://en.crossout-info.com if you want to see the current meta.

Mostly corax, custom elephant, triton, nest, aspect. Avalanche, yongwang and charybdis also could be good in right hands.

If you want to play drones THAT badly then use Fatums. You can get 3 of them and a Cheetah too at 9k.
At the very least they have actual damage and also heat up the enemy parts for your team too.

that’s all good news for me ( the league i’m at having "minimal brain activity ")

I’m not a comp player i just saw a low hanging fruit ( 600 badges ) and i tried with one of my builds.
Having seen what i would face…i was a bit sceptic i was expecting taking a lot more time to tell the truth… the damage output, rarity of weapons, type of weapons… but i also saw some enemy builds were pretty shitty ( compromises done ).
But you know what? if they don’t shoot my hawks down, my hull will handle it.
Guess what, it did what i ask from it.
And thanks god for the lack of experience cause a experience player would ignore my build and go for the drones render me harmless for a couple of seconds.
I’m just pleased with my creations they do what they say in the tin and they are a good starting point to go competitive

Go higher, you could easilly get at least 15 uranium from reaching gold and then elite, then 5 more for winning once at 1700-1725 score. Especially considering that you can still go up these leagues even with WN lower than 33% because how their win / lose score addition / subtraction tuned.

Possibly you can get all 50 uranium (25 from leagues + 25 from challenges) but that probably would be hard for you

It’s not bad for your league, but any meta build will shred that. Let me remind you that explosive shot + Djannabi + 2 Corax is ~1100 damage. Every 2 seconds too

Once again, there are plenty of cheap strong options out there. If you insist on playing drones, buy 3 Fatums. I don’t have them anymore but i was using a 10k PS build with Satori, you could make something like this with Jannabi instead:

This damage was achieved in ~5 seconds btw

Yup, it sucks
CC as well

I’m open to suggestions i will play with whatever makes me comfortable, i came from SGs and ended up with drones.
Tried snowfalls didn’t like the delay, i would like to try other weapon but i don’t know which
getting back to drones
i already have Puncher ( other of my builds ) it survived a bunch of buffs and nerfs, devs made last year, i only have to switch modules.

but Jannabi couldn’t handle the weight, which was necessary cause of the melee meta not so long ago…unless i take out the protection

Bumpers are nearly worthless.

These are my three wheeled builds that i had a pretty good experience with:

My stats as well

Notice how there are a few medium bumpers on the front at best? Any melee would just wedge you and will damage your wheels / chassis, so your bumpers are entirely useless and just take up PS and tonnage.

A word of advice: learn how to kite melee builds. Jannabi is the best cab for that. I’m currently playing BfU with Charybdis, the best defence against them aren’t bumpers but a player that properly kites you by drifting and being unpredictive

About that i don’t know.

what i can tell, with the increase in melee meta builds being good against cannons wasn’t enough so i had to commit.

with the added protection and the increase in light builds overall i had to drop my light cab ( aggressor , which while kiting was very nice ), for two main reasons

  • In normalizing the use of light cabs the speed advantage that i might had, it was lost
  • Some maps are very claustrophobic

As you can see they are made from blast and melee résistance parts.
In a 1 vs 1
normally i don’t have to do nothing but wait while my hawks or sidekicks fire at theirs exposed cabin or modules.
Usually i win whatever is out there, the few times i don’t win, the other guy gets spent, basically he goes somewhere to die.
But i can run, i could run and will run if i get the chance but i also know that many of the builds are not melee or blast resistant… so many of times i throw my build into them to stop them ( if i get some ram damage in …it will be a bonus )
But you are right, to fight bullies you have to be a bully and that’s a very grey area, very player to player dependent.
I will see if i can put a Jannabi in my Puncher, with fatums if I reduce some weight, it will be easy to drift with it.

Don’t bother with part stats other than health / PS / mass. So far picking parts based on their resistances has very little advantage, and even then it’s situational. If you have very little PS to work with and lots of tonnage, use Steppenwolves parts, then Scavengers parts.
If you have lots of PS but no tonnage to work with, then use:

(after that use Engineers parts)

ALL builds should use this part because it’s outright broken lol, 85 hp for 172kg and 27ps is insanely good

There’s no shame in using meta as long as you’re open about this meta being meta, some players actually refuse to believe that and scream “nooo this isn’t meta because it’s countered by another weapon!!!” (1 out of 170+ lol), so yeah

are you ’ Rough monkey ? i think u are …

I don’t have any problem using meta , you know? if it’s me but the majority of Meta i don’t like.
take Corax e.g., i don’t like it’s firing mechanics nor Varum .
So, i don’t use either

Hi everyone, since i don’t know how to creat a post i’ll reply here since we’re talking about modes.
I’d like to suggest a new permanent PvE mode for Crossout that I think could both expand gameplay variety and give players a meaningful long-term challenge.

Core Idea

A permanent endless Tower Defense-style mode, inspired by the existing PvE raid structure — but designed to scale infinitely in difficulty.
Instead of a fixed 3-stage format, the mode would continue with progressively harder waves until the team or the player (i would prefer it to be singleplayer mode) is eventually overwhelmed.

How It Could Work
Endless Waves,
Increasing difficulty per wave

Scaling enemy composition (rarity, weapon tiers, synergy)
Smarter AI behavior at higher levels

Exhibition Vehicles in High Waves,
At certain milestone waves, enemy builds could be selected from:

Top-rated Exhibition builds

Dev-curated strong player builds

This would: Add variety, Make waves less predictable, Celebrate community creativity

True Leviathan Threat,

For very high waves: introduction of actual Leviathans
Possibly multiple mini-Leviathans before a final boss-tier one

Unique mechanics (shield phases, support drones, artillery support, etc.)

This would give late-game players something genuinely challenging.

Defensive Turret System with Upgrade Trees,

Build and upgrade defensive turrets during the match
Choose between different upgrade paths (damage / support / control / anti-air)
Unlock levels beyond the current standard PvE limit

Example branches:

-High DPS cannon turret

-Area denial flame turret

-EMP / support turret

-Repair/support node

This would add strategic depth beyond just vehicle builds.
To avoid farming abuse:

Milestone-based rewards (Wave 10 / 20 / 30 / etc.) and something really special for wave50+

Unique cosmetics (banners, paints, decor)
Possibly a unique structural part or blueprint reward at very high waves

Leaderboard for highest wave reached (weekly reset?)
The goal wouldn’t be resource farming — but challenge + prestige.

lol good luck, devs aren’t reading this forum and they don’t care about suggestions which take more than a day to implement
