Im using triple punisher, everytime I clean up small bots n drones , helping destroy the trucks n I got 9 plastic, if focusing only trucks gettin only 7plastic. So if u need more plastic try to kill everything u can.
Other then seeing the types of trucks it’s not that interesting.
never has been. the old chase was boring too after playing it a couple of times. people “loved” it for its great payout only. but you cant have that ever because it makes people spend less.
its so sad reading through this topic. its all about the grind in the end. it has been completely normalized in crossout for people to decide whether they play a mode or not based on the rewards.
if you only play a mode because of the payout and drop it when you dont get enough it means youre not really enjoying yourself. its more like running in a hamster wheel.
I have premium to clarify and get 11 per raid which take between 1 - 1.5 minutes each so farming around 500+ -plastic per hour. Fastest was 57 seconds and slowest 1.48. Average is probably 1.5 mins with wait time.
We run:
2 x Gravistar builds, Retcher and arbiter build.
All get about the same rewards and very fast. Not a bad way to earn plastics and we are planning to farm about 1000 per day for 30 days, then wait for the price to bounce back.
Instant queues, one minute per run.
Reading this thread makes me roll my eyes so hard I’m worried they might pop from my head.

My only problem with the raid is that each person is getting very different rewards even with the same perfomance…
The raid is really fun tho, have not played pvp even once since they added the raid.
When players are disappointed in the reward what do you expect, they certainly aren’t going to clap and celebrate it. Some of that disappointment is probably over the reward change from the old chase too. If the only reason they liked it was the reward then there’s bigger issues for the game and it’s devs and how they understand their player base too.
The games grindy no ones going to argue about that. If you want to keep players in a mode it has to be a mix of entertaining, challenging, and have a near equivalent sense of reward to whatever other modes they would normally play. If it fails in one portion it has to make up in the others if it’s going to draw players. It’s a balancing act against other things like time, frustration, goals (whatever the player wants to accomplish that day)…
Rewards don’t have to all be resources either they’ve provided little odds, ends, and trinkets for many other special events.
What is ur team using?
I have premium and it averages to 11 plastik for 2.5 minutes - so around 40 every 10 minutes (including loading times etc.) which is on par with frontier defence but does NOT use fuel. There is a reason plastik prices plummeted.

dont you get it, man? it can never be truly satisfying, thats the whole point.
youre systemically set up to be slightly disappointed at all times in this game. if the mode is fun and rewarding people wont pay up so it has to stay just slightly below fun and below rewarding to work.

i used 2 arbiters and a reaper on a cohort and got 17 when i was successful and 6 when we only killed 1/2 of the trucks. the major issue i have is some of the scenarios are not winnable. i came across a truck that had 5 retchers and multiple trombone rockets and destroyed me in a matter of seconds. didnt get much for it though.

Ya, I tried it again this afternoon, and as long as I keep getting team-mates with 14K builds, it just doesn’t work for me. I get pwnd…“but it’s so easy. Get gud.” says the guy with fused legendary everything. This game is for whales. Looking for something else to do.
i attempted the raid various times with 7-9k builds, i did fine in it, no legendarys, i keept getting teammates that were 8-11k ps

Well then, IDK WTF. It worked for a while, I was even getting 9 plastic often (doing it about how you described), then…IDK. I’m tired of this game’s BS at this point. Sometimes it works, and then it totally doesn’t at all, and I don’t know why, I’m done trying to figure it out. It can go be enigmatic on somebody else’s dime for a while. It was fun while it lasted.
On ps4 100 scrap costs 12c. 100 plastic costs 74c. You get around 30 scrap from a mission, and you get about 4 plastic from the unlimited raid. So missions yield like 4c per match. The rade yields like 3c per match. So it’s kind of fair if you think a out it. I suppose they could bump it up to 6 plastic to even it out.
The final factor is play time. I’ve never actually done the raid, but I hear it’s fairly short. So the deciding factor of if it’s really unfair is; can u play more raids in an hour than scrap missions?
When you look at it like this maybe you can see its not such bs like y’all are complaining it is.
Ps there’s low end yields on scrap missions too where you get more like 20 scrap. So even if they take the same amount of time the rewards in terms of coins earned per match via resources is about exactly the same between raids and missions.

Yeah I’m aware. But scanner does not change the comparison calculations I did. The ratios would still be the same. And since I’m hearing the raid takes like a minute it is far more rewarding on average than missions. So people have no right to complain about the rewards from it. Because they are actually good.
Some trucks are indeed stronger than the others. But my adversary was the reaper one. 8 reapers or something.
Although I finally managed to get 7 plastic. With a team of good random players. Completely differs from when I pick 15k build and get 10k and 7k to carry.
The only plus I see there is that what XO really should be. Huge wheels. Gigantic plows, bigger than sidecucks. And then we, the raiders, ambush them, destroy, and disappear with our loot.
Unfortunately this is only temporary and not a permanent battle, let aside one of many permanent good battles.
