Breaking the 8k PS threshold without bloat

Listen to this guy 13thDisaster 5K is enough if youre short on coins, you can play all the basic farming modes with that.
Add 2 fuel tanks to increase your earnings.

In my example, none of the guns are any less armoured than the diagonal arrangement you prefer, and only one of the three is potentially on a passthrough part (often it can be on the frames, which is also a passthrough part, but generally more durable than a buggy floor).
Also, while there are a couple cryo weapons that I see in-game, they are still very much the minority of weapons you’ll face. It’s very rare that I lose a weapon mount before I lost the weapon itself.

As far as shooting backwards being more important than shooting diagonal, this is what I mean by playstyle differences. If I’m playing a drift cabin, I’m focussing on remaining in motion at full speed to maximize the perk. The only times I’m going backwards is if I crash. If I need to shoot at someone behind me, the roof gun can still target them, and I can get sideways very quickly with a handbrake tap and a quick turn.
I suspect some of your opinions might be due to the differences between console and PC. I think controllers give us more driving precision, making that a bigger part of how we approach situations in the game.

I see you hating on omniwheels a lot (although sometimes you seem to think I mean omniwheel when I’m actually talking about all omnidirectional movement parts).
I find that interesting, because while they were rarely used on console when first introduced, they’ve been a big part of the Clan Confrontation metas on console for quite a while now. And by your reasoning, if many of the high scoring players are all playing the same build, it must be good, right?

Anyway, I would hate this game if experimentation and creativity didn’t count, but I might also be a better player if I just followed the current popular trends.

well, you’re judging by console players. That’s not really a high bar to overcome.

I can see the argument that more serious gamers are going to be on PC, but I think the differences probably have more to do with controller vs KB/mouse.
When I try versions of the high HP builds that seem to be popular on PC, they often struggle against the speed and maneuverability that seems more popular on console. But maybe if you got yourself a console you would instantly be able to dominate us without adjusting your strategies. Hard to say from a distance.
