As you may remember from Star Trek, “The Wrath of Khan”, the Genesis device was seen as a weapon by the Klingons. There’s a good chance that it was intercepted by the Klingons somewhere between Gaijin and you, and is hidden somewhere on Kronos (the Klingon homeworld).
