i just witnessed a guy on goliaths going twice as fast as my wheel build… maybe 3 times as fast. now i couldnt see any wheels under that and no boosters so i have absolutely no clue how that guy was going that fast. my build goes 84 max and this guy was going twice that at least on goliaths.
does anyone know if goliaths can get that kind of a boost???
No vehicle can go 160 without boosters. But I am assuming you are exaggerating when you say twice as fast as 84 kmh.
Goliaths can have their top speed raised by Golden Eagle and Phobos though, which can make them feel relatively peppy these days, especially with a cabin that accelerates quickly and doesn’t have too much armour.
So with the right combination of cabin, engine, co-driver and mass, a Goliath build can definitely accelerate faster than many builds, especially medium and heavy builds.

he was also having trouble steering to because he was going so fast. i wish i video captured it but i didnt, the dude was going twice my speed and unless the golden eagle has nitro boosters and a rocket engine the size of a bowing 747 airplane then i have no idea how the hell he was going that fast.
my land cruiser build maxes out at 65km but im curious was his tracks fully on the ground or tilted abit
it looked to me like they were fully on the ground. he was going so fast though it was hard to tell but when he came to rest he was flat on the ground from what i can tell and i couldnt see any wheels under his build nor him being elevated.
did you see how many tracks tho, wheels wont increase speed cuz the wheels wouldnt be touching the ground but i know of 1 thing that would do what your talking bout tho
he was going very fast but i could only see goliaths. i couldnt keep up with him even though i tried seeing what he had.
only thing that could make someone go that fast with tracks is hovers nd if mastered it can be a very dangerous thing for enemies, will not explain more on said build let alone show cuz dev dont want ppl building said stuff nd yes ive built nd mastered the build but with tank tracks nd with my building skill its a very dangerous build that i have only tested in the test drive area

Likely boosters.
boosters wont make goliaths go that fast
boosters dont effect tracks though.
Goliaths are much lower than the other tracks though, so some wheels can be hidden between them and hold the tracks just barely above the ground.
Done correctly and it would be very hard to see the wheels, and you could run boosters to get up to 160kmh.
But I also think hidden hovers could be what’s happening. Not sure if it still works, but I used to occasionally see hover builds that were deliberately tilted, as tilted hovers go very fast in an effort to stop tilting. They were very hard to control, so they were basically just meme builds, usually running drones or homing missiles, so that they didn’t need to worry about maintaining enough control to aim.
Whatever the cause is, I definitely appreciate the humour and inventiveness to make a 160kmh Goliath tank.

i was thinking about it and i should have. it made me “wtf” seeing the goliath build going that fast LOL honestly it looked like he hit the fast forward button a bit to hard
