Changes after the mass testing

Hover inertia did not change too greatly from what I experienced. Though I did not try super-heavy hover builds. More so the baseline stability is what felt radically different, with how much they pitched and rocked.

So does that mean you didn’t try the movement toggle buttons?
In one of the videos posted, the player is clearly able to shoot sideways while driving sideways.
They weren’t pinned, and appeared to be using those buttons to partially rotate the build independently of the guns.

I feel like I’m the only one who even noticed that feature in the notes, but because I’m on console I couldn’t test it myself.

You could cock off-center 45 degrees. That was all I got out of it. Either dead ahead, dead behind, or a half-quarter twist. You effectively had dead-zones that consisted of half or more of your build’s relative spatial radius, regardless of how you actually built.

For me that’s fine I don’t have many ex-long or wide builds for hovers and it kind of fits with how I already fly them. I just could never get into doing the big spaced out ones so I never had to alter my playstyle for them.

Thanks btw for answering questions.

Found the video with the sideways shooting:

It’s around the 2:45 mark that he figures it out.
But since I don’t play PC, I’m not sure what the equivalent buttons would be on console, or exactly what he’s doing.
Nevertheless, there’s clearly a way to shoot sideways without being pinned.
