Clash of engineers: cars for foxy

Hello, survivors!

The battle against Lloyd and the Ravagers continues, and it looks like the conclusion of this struggle to decide the fate of the Wasteland is coming very soon. Will it end in victory? It depends on what vehicles we drive on the battlefield.

Foxy is calling on all masterful engineers to build universal maneuverable vehicles that can withstand the assault of Lloyd’s creations. An armoured car with the “Sabbath” movement part would be a good option. These frontal wheels have proved to be very efficient in battles thanks to their parameters and a useful perk. The best vehicles that meet all the requirements will get you a generous reward. A very generous one.

Stages

  • Entry submission: from 12:00 GMT, April 18 2024, to 11:59 GMT, April 21 2024
  • Voting: from 12:00 GMT, April 21 2024, to 11:59 GMT, April 24 2024
  • Awarding: 12:00 GMT, April 24 2024

Objective:

Build a maneuverable armoured car for Foxy that meets the requirements. It must be able to move on its own. Share your entry on the Exhibition during the submission stage, and don’t forget to add the FX24 tag to its name.

Pay attention to additional requirements and limitations in the conditions!

  • In addition to the usual list of rewards for victory in the “Clash of engineers”, we can select one or more vehicles that will be added to the in-game store. All participants whose vehicles will be selected to be added to the store will receive 10000 coins each. The results of the selection will be published in a separate news item two weeks after the “Clash of engineers” is over.
  • The “Clash of Engineers” regular prize draw is open to all cars that use the “Sabbath” movement parts. The coin prize draw is open only to the cars that fully comply with all the requirements.
  • Winning by votes doesn’t mean that your car will definitely be added to the store. We will manually select the candidates for addition to the store based on our preferences and complete compliance with the requirements.
  • We reserve the right to make any changes to the blueprint when adding it to the store, such as repainting or adding/removing parts.
  • The PS of the assembled armoured car must be between 5000 and 8000.
  • Only the “Sabbath” movement parts must be used in the blueprint.
  • The rarity of the parts used must not be higher than “epic”. The only exception are decorations and paints — they can be of any rarity.
  • The armoured car must be visually appealing and resemble a car, but also be able to fight in battles.
  • The blueprint check system is case-sensitive, so be sure to write the tag only in capital letters. If you do not, your entry will not be able to participate in the contest.
  • The entry should not contain offensive symbols, obscene language, references to prohibited groups and societies, elements of erotic content, and also should not violate the game’s rules.
  • Only one entry is accepted from each participant.
  • The players who publish someone else’s entry will be excluded from participation.
  • It is prohibited to use the voting as part of an external contest or any other system with rewards, as well as issue prizes for voting to anyone. If such cases are detected, the administration reserves the right to remove the entry from the contest.
  • Other players’ entries cannot be seen or saved during the submission stage. To protect yourself from plagiarism, do not share your competition blueprints until the submission stage is over.
  • If your entry doesn’t correspond to the theme of the contest, it may be excluded from voting.
  • By participating in the contest, you consent to the use of your work at our discretion.

Additional requirements

  • The name of the blueprint must start with the tag FX24.
  • Only the “Sabbath” movement parts must be used in the blueprint.

It’s one of those limited building events just to keep in mind.

This is more expensive than buying a cabin only. And the 10K coins reward is probably a bigger carrot they’re dangling to match the cost of entry. They could’ve used an unpopular cabin like before, but they wanted to squeeze more money out of the participants. Seriously, this contest was their best chance to sell more Ronin packs. Because it’s not really selling, is it? They should’ve gone with the Kensei as the required part. I’m also wondering if the pack discount festival that started well before the contest wasn’t intended to make up for the Ronin’s poor sales.

Why wouldn’t you just buy the wheels on the market? That’s a lot cheaper than buying a pack with real money.

I’ve only participated in one Clash, but I won second place that time, so now I’m into these contests.

I’ve got a couple sabbaths, so I guess I could make a motorcycle. Am I right in understanding that we can only use Sabbaths, and not a mixture of wheels?

So I downloaded the game after a year, so we’ll see.

Lloyd is one of the few characters who made sense, so I am offended that they’re pairing him up with the ravagers. Couldn’t they get one of those otherwise-useless social services people to intervene? In protest, I will not be entering the contest.

And I miss the Air Shaman…I wanna be like him when I grow up. Oh wait…I’m already too old to grow up…damn… :disappointed_relieved:

I am surprised by how many fox themed builds there are, I mean I know the character is named Foxy but come on, it feels kind of like lack of brain cells or a lack of having any forms of reading comprehension let alone knowing the character in general. I genuinely believe that there is a huge number of people who are thinking they need to build a literal fox car for this clash.

Well anyways I voted a build that was literally a huginn cabin with 4 sabbaths and nothing else because these clash of engineers are always a complete crapshow in some shape or form

Not to mention after witnessing many of these clashes, it feels like some people have a stock cool car leviathan build of their own, that they max change the paint on and upload it to every clash, no matter if it fits the theme or not, I see cars I could swear I have seen take part in every clash that I have witnessed
