Clash of engineers: Kensei car

So anyway how are you all feeling, making any entries? Trying to go for event victory or to make a pack-able build and hoping yours gets selected rather than focusing on winning the votes? Will you think all the winners will once again be trash parade float builds or dragons and houses and whatever, or the usual ignoring every rule of the competition ever builds? Will you think it’s already rigged even before it started? Have you given up completely and just uploading some troll build into it just out of spite?

I tried to go for the pack build myself but I fear I used 2manypurpleparts4selection can’t let players get too many parts for their money in a pack

Skimming at the options now that the voting part has started, I am half suspecting people are boycotting this. Or then the build quality of people left in the game nowdays has taken a massive nosedive, I have never yet seen such a bland and uninterested selection of builds, to the point that I can’t really imagine that most of these builds are made with honest intentions. If in past clashes you saw lots of imaginary builds and maybe 1-3 no efforts made/stock car, now it’s the reverse. 90% of all cars seen with 15 minutes of refreshing seemed to be no efforts with maybe 1-3 imaginary build

Also looks like the whales this time around are using parade float builds painted into a clown suit with as many super special paints imaginable used as a form of penis measuring contest, just haphazardly thrown about just to show off how many not normally reachable paints a person owns. Was it just me or did this kind of penis measuring contest in the past clashes involve building massive huge builds, rather than just X special paints portrayed with no rhyme or reason.

Oh well I gave my vote to a cotton eyed joe chicken nugget and called it a day. But man I don’t remember the selection being this bad in any past clash I have browsed through a few times to see what people are making.

I didn’t submit any entry because I don’t have the Kensei cabin. Secondly, when I did submit entries in past events, and then saw what the winning builds looked like, I mumbled something about the contest being neither subjective or objective. Browsing the entries was always annoying too…you could spend 45 minutes seeing the same cars repeated, but never finding entries from your friends. Now that you reminded me, I might look at a few of them later, but no way am I scrolling through them for hours.

I agree with The_Purple_Snit. For some reason I see many of the entries repeated. I once counted an entry and saw it 10 times before I saw other vehicles that I had never seen. The rotation of the voting selection seems to be bugged or I feel rigged.

However, because I am a builder… I build vehicles anyway. For me that is what is fun. Also, I like to see what other survivors build. It’s a pity that some of my favorite builders are never voted on in Clash of Engineers.

Here is a builder that rocks named Winterlion. I love the way this survivor uses decals.

What’s even more funnier is that the so called “toper syndicate” (aka players from top clans in the leaderboard) are rigging the vote.

If you didn’t know, a rooster is basically a slur in Russian-speaking countries and they’ve been recently flooding the exhibition with these builds… like… as an attempt in a “haha look like, we’re top players and we paint the build that can interpreted as a slur in paints which are associated with top players. Look how self-conscious we are!” humor

This is a very deep rabbit hole, but basically these are people that do rigged matches in competitive modes, have smurf “group project” accounts in almost every top-10 clan which they regularly play on (especially since most of them got their market access banned because they’ve duplicated coins via a recent bug).

Their excuse is “oh but we’re like, buying BPs and shiet, so we did repay all the damages caused! And we put more money than the target audience” (which is sorta a slur in Russian-speaking Crossout. Basically “noob” but in a slightly more agressive tone).
(Not joking, this is almost a direct quote they’ve used)

Also 3 recent CoE winners were wishax and nitrogen (twice) which both are members of said clan syndicate. Wishax also a user of… a certain website where you can buy accounts. Why i know that? He hacked and drained my friends accout by scrapping every part he had, then buying coupons at a cheap price and reselling them to my friends account a few cycles over, lmao

Thank you Горынка Упорынка,

I appreciate your unique insights and giving us a detailed look, as you say into a deep rabbit hole.

Sincerely

Color me surprised, at least on the PC all the winners are actual cars this time instead of random dragons and houses and so on

I’m kind of excited to see where I placed.
I don’t really care about the rewards, but I like seeing how high my designs rank.

I did really well the first time I entered one of these, but have yet to place that high since then. I would love to see one of my builds as a bot or pack.

And all of them are painted in at least 1 FR tournament paint.
And there’s 456 likes on the #1 winner, which is an insane upturn rate for CoE (like, in all previous CoE’s having 250-300 likes is already alot, and there was 5-8k concurrent players on the steam alone, now it’s 1.2-1.4k).
#1 and #2 are members of two top clans while #3 has no clan, closed profile and no crossoutinfo matches…
And despite there being less than 100 entires and the minimum place to win something being 100, alot of players didn’t recieve any rewards because they didn’t score enough…
