Commit needs a heavy nerf

jbrider is a sheepie tbh lol, his builds are… ACCEPTABLE if you want to play the game, but nothing more than that lol. you’ll just be a burden on your team in every single gamemode if you follow his advices, or any holy spiritual entity you believe in forbid, use his builds

I have fought him enough to know his builds are not optimal. I mean He does some things that allow my tow to blow his generator nine times out of ten.

I think because of the perk, it’s actually stronger in higher PS, where there is more armour to plow through.

For me, I think the devs should focus their balancing at the 9kPS range, simply because that appears to the most popular range currently. Balance should be about the best experience for the biggest demographic of players.

Nerfing the perk might be warranted, or go the other way and nerf base damage. And let’s also wait a few weeks, to see how things settle in. New weapons always seem worse than they are, because everyone is trying them out at the same time.

thats why i add u in the special area cuz u think nerfs help nd ur type clearly have no brain to problem solve stuff plus i bet u run builds that everyone else uses oh nd on top of all of it if u ppl knew how to actually build ur build wont get blown up so easy

i find it funny that nobody even replied back to my “85% structural damage is pretty high” and “maybe it should be nerfed a bit” comment. your all screaming “nerf, nerf, nerf” but cant see the simple solution right in front of you. ah well.

because this weapon is still way too busted. in order for it to be balanced, you’ll need to nerf the stock damage by 30 - 40% (490-420 single-part damage, to make it par with scorpion, spike and so on).

which is alot. so the first nerf should be charging mechanic, exactly like on raijin, on top of that long reload

didnt they do that with the other crossbow though? i forget its name… Varun that was it. i had a look in the market place for it. didnt that have a similar mechanic but they dumped it cause it didnt work out?

maybe i should bring it into pve and try it cause in the garage it doesnt really seem that broken to me.
im also a bit confused here to. i tried my mastodon and mammoth on cars in the range and they dont even approach the damage threshold of the commit. cannons are supposed to be powerful but the mastodons do laughable cabin damage even with that heated boost.
im curious as to what the hardest hitting weapons in the game are for their rarity.
theres alot of weapons that can be considered overpowered but… ugh this is hard to think about.

It had way too much DPM plus people were using it with autoclickers to get an unfair advantage. That small reload time was added to fix the macros issue.

But since commit isn’t a DPM-based weapon it will be fine

:face_holding_back_tears: why

why people are still bringing low killcount per minute weapons in PvE is what trully baffles me

just to test it. i mean why have it if im just gonna have it collect dust?
… then again i got a ton of parts collecting dust from previous battlepasses… lol

Noooooo!
Too many charging mechanic weapons, and they’re annoying to play.

really? i herd some people say it was to powerful but i actually never got one. i only bought one to flip it before, made some profit off it but not much but i never used it in combat. also auto clickers? people will do anything to ruin other peoples fun huh? :unamused:

Ok, at this point there is no point in debating this with you, as you are obviously not willing to see facts. It is statsticly OP, there is no arguing that. Because to argue that is to argue that you can’t do basic math

I have seen them only be useful during brawl PvE events, aka for levi busting when those come in. Other then that I don’t know why people bring them either.

I bring plasma rifles and disruptors for my PvE builds (when not allowed to play a copter.) and I Still don’t understand the people that bring nothing but an acari and incenerator build on a standard get the oil raid. like what.

im hitting 847 strangely without any damage boosting equipment in the garage. i hit 896 just now… what is going on here…? lowest hit was 700 but was also getting 748 to…
so my set up is hadron, commit, king, cyclops, bigfoots x6, hot red.
i have no idea whats going on. the damage is inconsistent here.
i am sitting still behind the firing range line and im getting all kinds of random numbers. i swear im not using any kind of boosts or anything. im just getting these really strong numbers upon only hitting the training cars cabins.

check above. i been goofing around with them in the garage and something strange is happening. im getting VERY inconsistent damage numbers. sometimes i hit 700 on the cabin, but other times i hit as high as 896. i have no idea why this is because i am not using any damage boosting modules or anything. im merely standing still and shooting from the range spot on the ground where its marked.

so i did some math. i did 847 damage specifically so i crunched some numbers and came to the conclusion i was getting a 21% damage boost out of nowhere.
896 gave me a 28% damage boost.
so where exactly was i getting these boosts from? i was using a hadron, it doesnt provide damage bonuses. kings dont either and neither do bigfoots and the hot red. it just seems to come randomly. in a pve match i hit 847 on a bot as well straight to the cabin without hitting any structural parts. this is really perplexing me…

when i shoot my 29k build i do almost 2k damage but in pve i hit way lower numbers sometimes im hitting 300 damage

im doing between 300 - 950 in pve depending where i hit them.
i hit the cabin of a vehicle in my garage and i did 700, 749, 847 and then 896 a few times. the damage numbers arent consistent.
also hit 798 to.

true nd plus if u hit modules ect that will increase damage numbers but cant explain that to all the special ppl saying its OP
