I was on patrol in spectator mode after getting my behind blasted into oblivion. I watched a guy using three Crickets and getting over 3k in damage. His average damage was around 1500 to 2000.
The refire rate was staggering. Anyone else witnessing this update version of the Cricket or is it just me.

Once again, devs are just plain dumb, they refuse to believe that there’s more to “just add more damage”.
Let me remind you that Scorpio always had 550 base damage with 5s cooldown (with flywheel, or before it was added, that epic engine i forgot the name of also gave +20% cooldown speed). Now most legendaries and even some epics deal 700+ damage with <5 second cooldown.
Crickets were always OP, their problem was low health. 259 HP for a 2x4x4 brick is insanely low, especially that you can’t armor it as well as Cicada for example (which has 229 hp BUT 2x2x4 dimensions, aka literally half the volume, plus it fires from the top which means you actually can armor it well). Devs should’ve added +100 hp AT MINIMUM (maybe even 150) and remove 25% of the damage, that’s all.

Haven’t used Crickets in a long time (except on novelty builds)…guess it’s time to revisit them!
