Crossout doesnt scratch that itch anymore

Which is why I spent that $400 on an electric longboard and cigars instead of battlepasses and packs.

I got two hands free

I haven’t felt like giving the game my “support” ever since the Supercharged update, and Helis did not help those feelings at all, especially when they now have to force Helis (and by extent walkers which are not as annoying as Helis) into absolutely everything. I hate it, it feels forced. Battle passes are just paying to play the game in ways you do not want because of challenges (use this gun in this mode that you really do not want to do) and most packs on sale are for scamcrowns.

Even buying a battle pass makes you feel horrible from spending money that way, and no matter what new shiny toys you have, the lack of fun and overall stale experience of still struggling against all the whales and clan autism stays mostly the same.

It’s a struggle to find ways to make the game enjoyable, but when you can it’s still fun, but only because I have a huge inventory from 7 years of playing. I also use my money on other things these days than crossout, I do not want to reward the retards in charge making retarded decisions repeatedly and just being overall retarded

I feel like I am putting my money, that I do not have lots of to begin with, into the worst possible place if I use it on Crossout, like this is below buying drugs or gambling or becoming an alcoholic, I’d rather loose my money from being mugged at knifepoint than throw any of it at Crossout in 2025

The game just does not deserve it, I do not feel like rewarding the game for what it is doing and has done, I do not feel like giving it support

its counterintuitive how if everyone decided to buy longboards instead of relics, the game would get 10x better

I’ve been playing this game far longer than I’ve ever played any other game.
It still gives me pleasure, which is surprising, given how simple and repetitive the gameplay is.

Someday it won’t give me as much pleasure, and I will finally move on to other games. I’ll probably continue to occasionally play a few matches here and there, but I know that it’s not always going to satisfy me the way it does now.

Life is way too short and precious to waste playing a game you no longer enjoy. And there is nothing you can do to make the game change into something that will bring that pleasure back.

If Crossout no longer works for you, give it up. Don’t let the memories of better days hold you back from enjoying today.
