Hi I just installed my new OS on my new PC. Im using Linux Mint 21.1. Its supposed to be the most game friendly Linux Distro. I was wondering if anyone here is using the Linux OS and What App is needed for Crossout Compatability. No im not using Steam for XO. Any Help Much Appreciated.

Never heard of anyone playing XO on Linux.
All I know is it is not officially supported.
Install crossout launcher .exe from Crossout website through Add Non-Steam Game on bottom left of Steam program.
Configure Your Launch Options
If the runtime is installed but the game still kicks you, you need to manually force Steam to locate the runtime path in your launch settings. [1, 2]
- Right-click Crossout in your Steam Library and select Properties.
- In the General tab, scroll down to Launch Options.
- Paste the following line exactly as it appears:
PROTON_BATTLEYE_RUNTIME=“/home/$USER/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Proton BattlEye Runtime/” %command%
Set Compatiblity settings for Crossout Launcher to Proton 9 0 4 and on launcher page of finished update, select DirectX 11 and then click Play
