Cicadas are a solid choice right now too.
They do have WAY less ammo than other rocket launchers, but in exchange they have better traverse angles in all directions and higher traverse rates. They are higher PS in exchange for being a little more convenient to use

I’m yet to craft any cicadas yet but i also expect a buff.

I really don’t think this stuff is planned. I think they are trying to release Battlepasses with some strong items and some weak ones with the intention of later on balancing them. It’s more likely they are trying but failing to release balanced items initially, and later being forced to make adjustments after seeing how they actually perform in-game.
Still none of the guns feel as busted at launch like the Commit or Triton or Jupiters did
I also suspect that they’re trying to be more careful about releasing items that could turn on to be ridiculously OP, and as a result have accidentally released a BP of underwhelming items.
I mean, I love this game, but even I can admit that it’s always felt like it was held together with duct tape and glue. I think it’s far more likely that problems are a result of incompetence and low budgets than being some kind of dastardly plan to manipulate and rip off players.
On paper i get it, i definitely don’t think Squalls need any nerf, maybe 1 energy max.
But has anyone been having issues against squalls?
Heck even lower ps 5k, they aren’t good.
Took me literally the first game vs squalls to know what to do lol.
Haven’t seen many skinner draggers yet but the few i saw no squalls were sent my way.
As for Darling… You’re aware it penetrates and has an explosion radius as well right? That explosion penetration is what needs nerfed
As for jupiters… I have 2 fused. They didn’t need the nerf.
And I don’t even like using mine. They really aren’t that strong.
If ignored sure, maybe with king + hadron ? But the stuff i have, nothing is op.
But honestly for a weapon your supposed to miss. Missing entirely is way too easy.
And I have 4 tritons lol. Just not the other crazy p2w stuff required to make them work.

How strong the explosive penetration is scales with how much your enemies build up their vehicles, so it scales with PS basically.
Nerfing the range of that penetration is enough to warrant making Darling’s rocket either guided or just plain faster
I’m finding Squalls to be really fun. It’s not the best weapon ever but does decent damage, but mostly through luck. But the satisfaction is just so great when you manage to guide an enemy into the rain of missiles.
One good tactic I have found it to trick enemies thinking that your squall is their squall, drive into it and take damage from your own squall, and then trap an enemy driving into it thinking it’s one of their teammates Squalls and do big damage.
It’s a fun gun for sure
all i can say is that any nerfing is the malignant cancer of crossout, many weapons that are too weak need buffs like the hammerfall, reaper, retchers could do with a faster projectile speed + many others which are barely used

But yes we need more buffs and nerfs more often.
any nerfing causes negativity in the game, someone always loses out and their build gets made shit because the developers go too far…
it always causes a massive drop in market value and those who have the weapons, hardware or movement part lose out…
would you be content with nerfing if all your favorite weapons, hardware and movement parts got nerfed?
About time someone else thinks Reaper should get a buff. They’re completely abandoned for me.
then also buff cyclones who lose vs reapers at a higher percentage.
Add a daze and the reaper cant really lose. Also can add the bubble shield and cover both.
Etc etc etc
